"Hey! Wake up." I heard Anika saying. I just grunted in response and the next thing I know, the curtains were withdrawn.

"It's too much sunshine." I whined and Anika started laughing and said ,"Wakey Wakey! I made pancakes."

And the word pancakes was enough for me to wake up . But as soon I was in a sitting position , my head started throbbing.

"My head is aching." I said and Anika replied,"Who told you to drink that much?! Now you have to face the consequences."

"Shit! Did I ruin your date?"

"Don't worry! You didn't. Your lover boy came and saved the day." She replied ,air quoting the word "lover boy".

"Lover boy? Who is lover boy—Shit!No Anika. You didn't just do that. No-No-No-No.Did I say something dumb?"

"Oh god! You look so funny!You should look at your expression!" She said, laughing inaudibly.

"Answer my question Ani." I said glaring at her.

"Don't get all grumpy!" She replied and I narrowed my eyes at her begging her to reply.

"Except for calling him your baby and practically clutching to him like a sloth bear,no! Nothing much."She said after her laughter died.

"Oh no! Now he will think I am crazy."

"I don't think so! He was looking at you with heart eyes like you were a princess." She said and I felt warmth rising in my cheeks.

"Aww! Our Violet is blushing." Anika said and I could feel the tease in her voice.

I threw a pillow at her and she threw it back and said "I am going to make the pancakes. You should take a bath." She said and closed the door.

And that was when I noticed some medicines near my bed with a glass of water . Maybe Anika left it for me. She thought and took the tablet and the water and she noticed a note under the glass.

Hey flower!

Take the medicines . It will help you. And I have left my no. here,in case you need anything.

Or if you need your coffee,you can just text me. I will bring it for you.

It will be my treat...

And in the backside of the paper was his no.

I smiled looking at it. He called me flower.And he is so caring.

I took the tablet and went to the bathroom to freshen up.

After I was done , I left for the kitchen to meet my pancakes.

Don't look at me like that! I love pancakes and Ani makes so tasty pancakes.

"Where is my pancake?" I asked Anika.

"Someone is in a very good mood." Anika replied with amusement in her eyes.

"Did Simon bring me home?" I questioned.

"Yes V." She replied.

I smiled and replied "He left me a note and even called me flower."

She smiled at me and said,"Let's eat pancakes to celebrate it."

After that,we ate pancakes silently and she went to buy groceries and I went to my room to get ready because now I needed my best coffee which I can only get from one café, Simon's Café.
