Finally sighing tiredly,he kept his phone aside to give himself a rest.We all need sometime alone, not only from people but from our phones too,we need to think well.
"Ya Yusuf," Iman pushed herself inside the room "Good morning," She greeted him smiling as she sat down on the other side of the bed "Morning," He answered as he sat up.
"No work today?" She asked.
He shook his head with a little smile "Their is,am all ready just resting before time." He explained and she nodded her head.
"So how is life treating you? I mean after you started working." Yusuf let the question sink in.
He let out a long sigh and a little smile spread on his lips "I think life is more better now,it is treating me well." He stated.
After saying that, someone flashed into his mind.Yusrah.
He wondered why but he didn't ponder over it.
"So tell me about your students, who is your favorite?"
"Yusrah."
"A lady,I see." She teased which made him roll his eyes "Why?"
"She is good academically, she does all the work I give them so diligently. She is very calm, like the hurling calm morning breeze, she is very delicate, like a rising sun,she is also very beautiful, what I like about her the most is the way she talks, very delicately, gently and calmly, her words are always very beautiful just like her." He smiled fondly as he saw her smiling at him.
"Surprisingly, seeing her gives me the serene peace and kindness I have always craved for,"
"The way she smiles calms the most restless heart in this world, her smile is so gorgeous." He continued.
Iman stared at him,jaw dropped.
"You are in love with her." Iman let out as she look at him daringly.
Yusuf felt like she poured cold water on him,he raised his head to look at her and she looked so serious,no hint of joke on her face,he gulped down the lump that was forming in his throat. He felt a knot forming in his stomach, like some sort of spark.Iman is wrong so he should prove her wrong but then he feels like denying her will be wrong too.
"I don't," He let out "I just adore her." He finalized.
"A lot." He added.

His heart thumped loudly and he doubt weather Iman cannot hear it,it has been a long time since his heart beat like this.
"When it comes to love,am never wrong,Ya Yusuf." She informed.
"I don't love Yusrah." He repeated.
"Their is nothing between us,absolutely nothing. Not even a little spark of feelings." He explained trying to defend himself.
"You don't also know that their is a spark......yet!"
He heard the door close shut indicating that she is gone,he looked at the clock and immediately rose to his feet,he needed to go now or else he will be late.
After some minutes,he was already inside the classroom and student were just trooping in,greeting every here and there.
He raised up his head from his phone and that was the moment Yusrah was also walking inside the class, their eyes clashed when she looked at his direction and she smiled at him mouthing a good morning which he couldn't answer. His heart suddenly became unsettled, remembering Iman's words as he look at her.
He averted his gaze from her letting out a sigh. She is so beautiful,he peeked his eyes to have a glance of her face, her whole attention was on the desktop as she typed what he doesn't know. She looked so cute, her lips had a little pout, her eyebrows were shrunken and her eyes were momentarily closing. He didn't know when a smile carve his lips as he watched her work.
"Yusuf." Kabir waved and he came back to his senses "Where were you lost?" He asked sitting down as he passed his hand for a handshake "Uh,I just got carried away with thoughts." He lied nervously and Kabir being Kabir shrugged the whole thing away without enquiring more.
"You look happy nowadays, what is the secret?" Kabir teased "Nothing, things are just falling into place,am learning to have peace with myself, and also counting my blessing not only shortcomings."
"That is nice.It is time for your class so am going." He smiled as he stood up and walked out.
Yusuf stood up smiling as he walked in-front of the class "Good morning class," His voice boomed "Morning sir,you are looking so handsome today." Bilal stated smiling and Yusuf thanked him.
He know this is bad but he doesn't like Bilal,he keeps disturbing Yusrah and from the looks of it she doesn't like it.

After the class,Yusuf went back to his sit exhausted from standing for two hours. As usual Kabir and Zarah sat together chatting and Yusrah kept fondling her fingers.
"Yusrah, come here." Yusuf called and she did,she is not so nervous with him now even though she is,but not as much as before.
She sat down "Well done sir." She smiled at him.
"Thank you,how are you?" He asked smiling at her,it has become their tradition,to chit chat before Zarah and Kabir finish talking.Yusuf have to admit that he waits restlessly for this time to come,so that he can have a conversation with Yusrah,he just enjoy talking to her even though she doesn't say much, she just smile, nod her head, chuckle or say a few words, but still Yusuf is happy with that.
"I am doing fine. What about you?" She inquired making his smile wider, she cares.
"I am also doing fine." He replied and she nod her head smiling.
"Do you have a passion for something?" He questioned out of the blue and Yusrah looked taken aback by the question,Yusuf just wanted to start a conversation. To him the best way to start a conversation is by touching a topic in which a person is fond of,so passion it is!
"I had a passion for cooking,I love cooking and learning new recipes alot."
"I don't understand why you used a past tense though," Curiously,he stated out his thought "I don't cook much anymore." Okay time to actually slide this topic.
"I want to learn how to cook, can you teach me?" He questioned, since he is planning on moving out,he should learn how to cook,or else hunger will kill him.
"Of course." She excitedly answered "With what are we going to start,we should start with the simple ones so that you will understand more of it.Am excited already!" She blabbered excitedly making Yusuf chuckled.
"You are too cute, calm down at least." He replied laughing and then he realized what he said.
Yusrah coughed it off and smiled awkwardly "I have made many recipes too." She said in a low voice to ease the awkwardness.
"Wow! Am impressed,I would love to taste one of your recipes one day." He stated smiling.
"You will." She replied "Let's go." Zarah stated as she stood infront of them "We are leaving." She informed to Yusuf smiling and he smiled back "Okay then, bye.Take care."
She nodded her head with a smile and they all went off.
Yusuf also stood up and sprinted out after saying good bye to Kabir. He decided to stop by a shawarma joint to buy.It has been long since he have taken it,now that he have received his first salary,he will treat Iman and his mother shawarma.
He entered and went straight to the counter "I want three shawarmas please, chicken." He voiced out "Right away."
He looked up and his eyes bore into Iman's?
"Iman?" He questioned as he gulped down a lump in his throat, his heart beat quicken and his breath became rasp.
"You work here?" He questioned trying to fix the puzzle, she had the uniform of the workers on,he felt like his legs are giving up on him,he was on the verge of falling down.
With wobbly legs,Iman walked to him as she dragged him out "I cam explain." She stated.
"Explain?"
Yusuf questioned "Explain this big lie Iman? The reason why you are always tired, the reason why your results are bad,the reason why you have lectures everyday. All those lies!" His vision was becoming blurry because of rage.
Once again,he failed as a brother!
"Iman, working is fine, but you lied to us,you hid it from us." He stated.
"Am sorry, I wanted something to take off my mind from my messed up life. I needed more money also! It is so freaking hard!" She cried.
"Am telling Mama." He informed as he dragged his legs to his car "Please, don't." She begged wiping her tears as she held his hand.
"Iman." He dragged his hand away "Don't do that Ya Yusuf!" She shook her head crazily.
"I will,I cannot let you do this." He stated with a finalizing tone.
"I will also tell her that her dear rival is the lady you love!" Iman threatened.
The next words Yusuf voice out made Iman lose her balance, the thunderous and venomous voice he used made Iman tremble. She can still feel the word echoing into her ears..............but it made her happy.
He corrected.
