《mrbeast imagines ☆》boyfriend

you and jimmy had been friends since freshman year. you had plenty of classes together all through high school. you went to all of his games and he supported you in anything you did. currently, you were hanging out with jimmy in his room when your phone buzzed. you groaned, knowing who it was immediately.
"its michael, he wants to know where i am." you said, reading the message and unlocking your phone.
"ive told you this, (y/n), its an unhealthy relationship." he replied as he swiveled in his desk chair.
michael had been your boyfriend since early junior year. it was the summer before senior year and you didnt want it to be ruined by a boy. he always wanted to know you location at all times. he was very envious of jimmy and would come and pick you up if he found out you two were hanging out. not to mention the fact that when he went to parties, he would flirt with other girls.
"just say youre at emily's house." he suggested, shrugging.
"emily just posted her pictures in cancun on vacation, he'll know im lying." you huffed and laid back on his bed. you rubbed your eyes, not caring if you smudged your makeup. your phone buzzed twice in a row. jimmy leaned forward and grabbed it from your hand.
"he said 'hello' with like seven question marks." he read. you sat up and fixed your shirt, stray hairs falling from your pony tail.
"just say something, like...." you started. "like, 'im at my grandmas house'." you found yourself laughing, your grandma lived all the way out in south georgia. jimmy typed on the phone and sent the text.
"alright, it sent." he gave your phone back. you smiled at him, he returned the smile. his cute little dimples showing on his cheeks.

"we should go get ice cream." jimmy suggested, breaking the silence. you nodded and stood up. he followed you out of the room and down the stairs.
you walked with him on the side walk, just talking about nothing. your shoulders brushed against each other as you stood side by side. coming up on the baskin robins, you noticed a familiar black compact car in the parking lot.
"its michael's car." you said, putting a hand on jimmys arm.
"well, more than just one person has the same car, you know?" he said, trying not to make the situation horrible. you nodded and continued to follow him inside. as if your luck with an over protective boyfriend couldnt get any worse, there sat the blonde headed boy. not only was he here, he was with a girl. he was laughing and flirting. the girl had everything you didnt. she didnt wear the black rimmed glasses, meaning she probably had perfect eye sight. she had long, flat-ironed, highlighted hair that flew down her shoulders, not put into a messy ponytail like yours. she had on a low cut too that exposed way too much cleavage for a high schooler. you werent ashamed of your outfit, it was summer after all.
michael turned around in his seat at the sound of the door bell ring, his blue eyes shooting dagger-like looks at you and jimmy. the anger grew as his teeth clenched.
"what are you doing here? i thought you were at your grandma's." he asked, standing up.
"i should be asking you the same thing, here with a girl." you snapped back, pointing at the girl. jimmy stepped in between you two.
"why are you here with him?" he asked. the argument continued on until he said something, something that echoed through your head like bells.

"i never even loved you!" he blurted out. a wave of emotion hit you in the face. tears filled your eyes as jimmy tried to talk to you.
"get out." you said, calmly.
"what?"
"LEAVE!" you screamed and started to hit your, now ex, boyfriend with closed fists. michael ran out the door of the shop, his mystery girl following behind him. you turned to jimmy once they both left the building. the tears flowed like a water fall. jimmy knew what to do. he wrapped his arms around you and held you close. you cried into his chest.
"i dont know if i should be sad that he said that, or glad that im single again." you said between choked sobs. he chuckled softly and rubbed your back.
after a while, you finally calmed down and got some ice cream. you sat outside under an umbrella facing jimmy. your eyes were red and puffy but you truly didnt care. you sighed. jimmy looked at you before taking in a breath.
"id never tell you lies, you know that?" he smiled at you. he reached across the table and took your hand.
"id answer your late night calls and listen to your every word." he continued.
"stop, youre gonna make me cry again." you said, feeling yourself tear up. you put your finger under your eye to catch the tears from falling. you smiled at him, then walking with him back home.
"lets watch a movie, ok?" he said. he looked down at you with calming eyes. i nodded, looking back up to him.
"spider-man homecoming?" i asked. he chuckled and nodded.
once we arrived home, we cuddled up on the couch. he wrapped his arms around me. i leaned my head on his chest and smiled.
"hey, listen, i know you just came out of a relationship, but ive always liked you." he said. i looked back up at him.
"ive always liked you too." i said. he started to say something but i cut him off, with a kiss. i wrapped my arms around his neck and climbed onto his lap, not breaking the kiss. he rested his hands on my waist. i pulled away and looked at him. his blue eyes sparkled in the television light.
"does this mean im with a man who will treat me right?" i whispered, continuing to look in his eyes.
"indeed it does." he said, kissing me once more.

The Ingress Estate
Jonathon Eucole. Soldier. Scholar. Now an Initiate, the dedication without dedication, he finds himself both prisoner and master of an arcane edifice, the Ingress Estate, which can neither be escaped, nor controlled; only diverted, maintained, and pacified. This is a gothic fantasy story, set in a world in which gods and the afterlife are not only real and known, but were both established in living memory of some of the inhabitants after millennia of arcane warfare with the being who constructed the mundane reality the humans occupy. But this isn't the story of those who colonized the afterlife at the cost of their own humanity, but a somewhat more ordinary man, in somewhat extraordinary circumstances. This is also a LitRPG-lite, which means there's a system of sorts, fragments of which can be observed through Jonathon's eyes. Don't expect level-up screens, or statistics, or indeed numbers much at all, beyond those the inhabitants of the world itself apply to understanding their own reality. It pretty much doesn't matter to the story, I mention it so those who don't want to read LitRPG at all can successfully avoid it here. I don't have any particular plan here, just some ideas inherent in the genre. This is a character concept I toyed with some years ago; an old man, bright of mind but weighed down into apathy, both by his past and his responsibilities for a terrible estate that cannot be left without stewardship. Don't expect any kind of overarching plot or story, because that's really not what this is about. Also don't expect much dialogue. Or character development. Or much of anything, really, because I've planned nothing in the way of an actual book, here. Other relevant information, if you've read this far for some reason: The MC isn't super-powerful to begin with, and probably never will be. He's a veteran with some useful skills, and the insight on how to use them, so can deal with the world's ordinary threats reasonably well, but not too much beyond that. --- Currently on hiatus, as currently the story has a rather poor ratio of effort-to-personal-payoff. I may return to this once I have a clear idea of how to get the stories where I want them. I've started a more standard LitRPG using the same system. But if you like intelligence characters who cleverly min-max their classes, it probably isn't the story for you; it's the story of a rather ordinary guy who winds up in a very similar universe.
