《1 in 6000 (MrBeast x Reader)》Chapter 38

We slept beside each other that night, the only form of intimacy that was shared was his arm wrapped around my waist and his breath on my neck. I almost fell asleep a bunch of times, but I was so scared about snoring, or doing that weird twitchy thing and embarrassing myself, that I probably only slept for about twenty minutes at a time, and each time I woke up, my headache was getting worse and worse.
I looked at the clock on Jimmy's beside table, watching at the minutes changed quicker than I wanted them too. "Why does he have to be such a quiet sleeper?" I thought to myself, as the sound of either Chris or Garrett's snoring reached my ears from down the hall. "Well at least he's not that loud."
I bit the side of my cheek as I thought about what to do. I hadn't slept in such a close proximity with a guy I actually cared about before, and it was a totally different experience. Why was I so self conscious all of a sudden. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding, before deciding that I wasn't comfortable. I leaned back into Jimmy, nudging him with my shoulder ever so slightly to wake him up a little bit.
"Hey." I whispered, nudging him again. His eyes flickered open slightly, reflecting the slightest bit of light coming from the glowing green of his digital clock. "Hey, beautiful." He whispered, kissing my eyebrow in the dark. "Do you mind if I sleep facing the other way?" I asked, poking at his arm around my waist. I would've moved without waking him, but then his breath would've been aimed at my face, which would've been annoying. "Oh, you want me to be the little spoon?" He asked, and I could hear in his words that he had a smile plastered on his face. "Shut up." I whispered, tapping him slightly on the back of his hand. "But yes, yes I do." I giggled.
"I'll do it for a kiss." He told me, turning me to face him a bit more. I couldn't see any of his facial features at all, so blindly went in, kissing him first on the nose, and then - after laughing - on the lips. He pressed his lips against my eyebrow once more, probably aiming for my forehead, but missing, and turned to face the other way. I put my arm around his waist, and tucked my legs in to fit behind his.
"By the way," he whispered, "I would've done it without a kiss. I love being the little spoon." He chuckled. I squeezed him tightly, and his arm wrapped around mine, and he intertwined our fingers. I smiled the biggest smile I've ever achieved in my life, and almost immediately drifted off into an uninterrupted sleep.

I'd like to say that I woke up next to Jimmy in a calm and peaceful manner, but what actually happened was worthy of a heart attack, and most definitely caused my hangover to intensify by 100%.
I couldn't tell who it was, but there were multiple pairs of fists pounding against the bedroom door, with such force, that it almost caused me to flip backwards out of the bed. "Y/N! Jimmy! You better be decent!" Chris shouted through the - probably destroyed - door. Jimmy groaned next to me, his eyes not quite as wide as mine, which made me wonder if this was a usual occurrence. Just as I laid my head back into my pillow, the door swung open, revealing Chris, Chandler and Garret. Chandler had his hand over his eyes, which might have been considered polite, if it weren't for the nature in which they had just woken us up.
"How are you guys not dead?" Jimmy slurred, rubbing his eyes with his fingers as if to push away the headache. I saw Garrett shrug, and Chris replied, "We're not lightweights like you." I chuckled, watching Chandler as he peeked at us through his fingers, and once he was satisfied that we weren't naked, he removed his hand from his face. "Jake made us breakfast." He said, "And then we've all gotta go and get packed for our trip tomorrow." Chris added. Jimmy groaned again, pulling his pillow out from behind him and slamming it on top of his face. "Alright!" He shouted, although it was muffled by the fabric. "Let us get changed and we'll be down." He added, throwing the pillow at the group of boys, who unfortunately had began to close the door before it reached them.
I looked over at Jimmy and gave him a look of discontentment. He seemed to catch my drift, as he nodded his head, "I know." He said, "It's like an ice pick is stabbing me behind the eyes." He sat up, and immediately leaned in towards me, pressing his lips against mine, in a long and warm kiss. "Good morning." I said, smiling up at him. He kissed my nose, "More like 'Good afternoon'." I tilted my head to look at the clock beside me, '15:19' I laughed, "And they're making breakfast?" I asked. Jimmy nodded his head which was now rested just above my shoulder. "It better be more than just a bowl of cereal." I added, an as if it was listening, my stomach growled. I felt Jimmy's breath on my neck as he laughed, and it sent shivers down my spine. "Come on then, let's get you fed." He said as he sat up, removing the duvet from over the top of us, allowing me to see that Jimmy was wearing a shirt, and a rather thin pair of boxers, which seemed a little bit more stretched than they should be. I felt a blush rising to my face, and couldn't stop myself from smiling ever so slightly.

I stood up, having to adjust the shorts I was wearing that were most definitely too big for me. I didn't have any other clothes though, unless I wanted to wear last nights dress, so I was going to have to wear this down to breakfast. "How do I look?" I asked Jimmy, lifting my arms up as if to present my outfit to him. He laughed as he took in the sight of his shirt sleeves down to my elbows, and his above the knee shorts landing mid way down my calf. "Do you want a belt or something?" He asked as I almost immediately dropped my arms to stop the shorts from slipping down again. "That would be nice." I said, too afraid to take my hands away from the rim of the shorts.
We made our way down to breakfast once I was sure I wouldn't be exposing myself in front of any of the boys. The smell of bacon hit me as soon as we reached the top of the stairs, and my stomach rumbled again. "God damn." I said, trying to stop myself from leaning over the Bannister in an attempt to follow the smell. Jimmy took my hand, leading me towards the kitchen, where Jake was plating up all sorts of food. Chris, Chandler and Garrett were all sitting down, stuffing their faces with whatever Jake put in front of them. "Morning you two." He said, gesturing towards the table where there were two plates filled with sausages, bacon, eggs, tater tots, all sorts. Jimmy and I both perked up at the sight, my hangover disappearing ever so slightly at the sight of all the greasy food. "Thanks, Jake." I said as we sat down. Jake gave me a beaming smile as he sat at the head of the table, trying to avoid seeing the sight of Chandler with a strand of bacon fat hanging out of his mouth. "Thank you very much." Jimmy said, immediately digging into his food.
I felt my headache disappearing with each mouthful of food I had, and for someone who's stomach was probably still full of alcohol, I ate a hell of a lot. The other boys wolfed down their food faster than the speed of light, and had all decided to leave to go and pack for our trip to Slab City early morning tomorrow. This, of course, had left Jimmy and I alone with each other, and it was perfectly fine whilst we were eating, but as I neared the end of my meal, I became more and more aware that this would be the first time we were alone since the events of yesterday. "So." Jimmy started, causing my eyes to widen and the piece of food I was chewing to almost get stuck in my throat. "Are you okay?" He asked. The question itself providing not too much worry at all, but the way he said it wasn't the way you would usually ask that question. His voice was full of concern, and his eyes looked a little bothered. I nodded, not quite knowing what to answer, because I wasn't entirely sure what he was referencing.
"Are you sure? Because yesterday was pretty fucked up, and I saw the note on your apartment door." He said. I nodded again, a little slower this time, not at all surprised that he saw the note, but most definitely scared as to where the conversation was going to go. "Yeah, it was extremely fucked up, but, I don't know, you just made everything better." I told him, "Plus getting drunk was completely helpful." I added, watching as Jimmy's eyes went from worried, to bright again, and his face twisted into a gorgeous smile. "Well I'm happy I could help." He said, nudging my foot with his under the table.
"The next question though, is what do you want to do about your apartment? Have you got anywhere else you could go?" He asked. I shook my head, "Nah, but I'll figure something out, I'll look online on the ride tomorrow, and hopefully find somewhere cheap." I told him, my mind suddenly racing with stressful thoughts about what I could do. I hadn't put much thought into it at all.
"Well I don't want to push you or anything, but I don't really like the idea of you staying there on your own. Not after what happened yesterday." He said, his foot now tapping at an extremely fast rate on the floor. "So what I was going to ask is, would you want to maybe stay here for a little while?" His foot stopped moving, and I noticed that he was trying to avoid eye contact with me. I was finishing my final mouthful of food, probably allowing a little bit too much silence in between our conversation, and all of a sudden Jimmy went off, "Not in that way though! Like I'm not asking you to move in, and I'm not asking you to sleep in my bed or anything if you don't want too. We can set up the spare room with all your TV, and you could just stay in there if you'd prefer. I don't mind at all, I'll even pay for your rent on any place you want if you don't want to stay here. Oh god, I'm so sorry that was so-" I cut him off after rushing to finish what I had in my mouth, "Jimmy!" I semi-yelled, a smile on my face, "I'd love to stay with you."
