A/N: Had a lot of fun writing the next few chapters 😉

When we got to the warehouse, Bailey was waiting outside the front. Jimmy rolled down the window on my side, and pulled up parallel to him. "Hey Bailey", we both greeted, "Hey guys." He was carrying my tablet. "I thought you might want this, you've got Facebook loaded on there so I didn't know if you would need it before tomorrow." I gratefully took my tablet from him. "Thanks, I've got some shit games on there too." I joked, and he smiled up at me. "See you tomorrow Y/N! We've got some work to do." He winked. I waved goodbye, and he walked towards what I assumed was his car. Turning and smiling at me again. I felt a quizzical expression creep up on my face, and as I glanced at Jimmy, his mouth was tightly closed, and he looked rather angry. I wonder what stick is up his ass.

Chris was trying to push Chandler out of the car, but Chandler was too busy trying to bug Garrett. I laughed at them, seeing that Chris' annoyance was becoming less and less of a joke the longer he tried to get out of the car. "Chandler!" Garrett shouted, slapping his hand out of the way as he tried to grab him again. "Fine!" Chandler shouted as he finally opened the car door. "See you Y/N, Jimmy, don't do anything I wouldn't do." He said as he stepped out. Chris and Garrett both said bye to us and followed behind him. I sighed and looked at Jimmy, who seems to have perked up from a second ago. "You okay?" I asked him, he nodded, "Sorry about Chandler, his lunch was loaded with sugar." He told me, shaking his head, but a smile was lingering on his lips. "That's fine, he makes me laugh." I told him, "In short doses". Jimmy laughed, his whole expression lighting up, making me smile at him. "Right, home time." He told me, the car beginning to move again.

When we pulled up at my apartment, I was rather reluctant to leave the warmth of the car, and also Jimmy's company. He turned off the engine and looked over at me. I smiled at him, really not wanting to say goodbye. The lingering silence from him indicated that he was the same, or he just didn't know what to say. "I had a really great day." I told him, "I can't wait for tomorrow". I gave him a smile, hoping he knew that I was being genuine. I don't think I've ever said that about a job before, and if I had, it most certainly wasn't true. He smiled right back at me, his dimples showing, and his eyes sparkling. "I can't wait either." He told me. "Do you mind if I use your bathroom real quick?" He asked, and I silently thanked the gods for giving him a reason to stick around a little longer. "Sure thing." I said, getting out of the car as he followed me. I got my keys ready as we walked up the pathway, kicking the odd few stone off of the steps, as if that would make the garden look any nicer.

For someone who needed a piss, Jimmy wasn't in any sort of rush as he got into my apartment. Instead, he took his shoes off at the door, slowly, as if he was hesitant about doing so. I just kicked my shoes into the corner like always, quickly running over to the boiler to switch the heating on. Seeing as I had just started a well paid, new job, I felt as if it was justified spending money on gas. This time last year, I was sat covered in seven blankets with the couch pillows stacked on top of me. "Good call." Jimmy said, as the sound of water running through the pipes echoed around my apartment. I smiled, opening the fridge. "Ugh I can't be bothered to cook." I told him, closing the door before the cold air could hit me. I walked over to the couch and collapsed on it, grabbing the remote for the TV. Whilst I hadn't installed any games on the PS4, I had still hooked it up, giving me the option of YouTube to watch. Jimmy walked into the kitchen and looked in my fridge, "I'd offer to help but I'm shit at cooking." He said. "Load of help you are." I chuckled, turning to look at him, and when he caught my eye I winked at him, just to ensure he knew I was joking. He laughed, opening the freezer briefly, before coming to sit next to me on the couch. 'He definitely didn't just come in for a piss' I told myself, blushing slightly and hoping he didn't catch it. "What about a take out?" He asked, and I stifled a laugh, "Jimmy, you had to buy my groceries last week, you know I don't have any money for take out." I told him, turning to face him. "I'll pay for it, obviously." He said, "what do you fancy?" That question stumped me, I hadn't even thought about takeout in about three years, that's a lie, I'd thought about it a lot, I'd just never been able to afford it. Deciding to be honest, "Everything." I said. He laughed, "There's an app for that." He pulled out his phone, typing something into google. He turned his phone to face me, 'RFFG' appearing on the top of the screen, a paper bag just below. "What if I don't want what it picks?" I asked, he laughed again, "Then tap it again". I tapped the bag, not quite knowing what I wanted, but all of the different types of food flicking across the screen made me feel extremely hungry. 'Chinese' was written across the screen, and I could feel a smile creeping onto my face. "Happy?" He asked. I nodded rather erratically, my stomach growling as it thought about chow mein and spring rolls. He glanced at the screen, "So am I! I haven't had Chinese in ages." He told me, "Oh, apart from when Jake tried to make crispy chili beef and almost broke my teeth." I laughed, happy that Jimmy was actually planning to stay with me whilst we ordered take out, as opposed to just ordering it for me and going home.

We picked a place to order from, and Jimmy rang them up. Admittedly it wasn't the most delicate meal we would have in our lives. We practically ordered one or two of everything from every section of the menu. I had told Jimmy that the last time I had Chinese was back in 2016, and he insisted that we should try everything that took our fancy. He didn't tell me how much it cost, nor would I want to know, as I think it would make me feel bad that he's spending even more on me. Right now I was just happy to be spending this time with him.
