♔ Kenzie the Queen ♔ Mackenzie's Perspective ✧
Technically, Gavin and I aren't engaged yet. Even though we are now both forced, he still has to propose and be a guy, which he hasn't done yet. I'm not too sure how guys work since I've only had a couple in my life. None of them are a romantic type of guy to me, so I can't ask them why Gavin hasn't asked me yet.
It's not like I'm excited for it to happen or anything, but shouldn't he have done it by now? I think about it as I get into my jacuzzi with a book. I'm reading a book called 'Love Letters'. It's not my first time reading it, maybe about my fourth or fifth. When my mother's watching me like a hawk, I can't really escape too many times.
I'm just into the part where Xavier writes Amanda another note when some loud abomination bursts into my room. I quickly cover myself, even though the bubbles are already there.
"What the hell ! don't you knock?!" I snap. That person could've been my best friend in the entire world, I don't care. But it wasn't, it was Gavin.
"What the hell do you want?!" I spat at him. I'm taking a bath, I don't want a soul within twenty yards from me.
"Your mom said I could use this bathroom." He states.
"I don't care, out!" I shout. He walks out and I sigh back into my water. My book fell in the water when he burst in here like that. I groan in frustration and decide to just get out.
"I can't even have a half hour alone by myself in this damn house!" I cry. My language might be a bit over the top; but when I'm mad, I'm mad. People just need to learn not to piss me off.

Gavin holds my hand as we walk into an extremely fancy restaurant. My dress is twice as fancy. We sit and an adorable blonde with short hair is our waitress. "Oh my goodness!" She exclaims in a southern accent.
"Gavin!"
"Hey, Jaclyn." Gavin smiles and gets up to give this girl a hug. She's very attractive; most blondes are.
"And oh my, is this Mackenzie Ziegler? Gavin, I didn't know you were so up high on the scale that you can eat with the Princess!" She gasps.
"I'm Jaclyn Bleu, by the way." Jaclyn holds out her hand to shake it and I do to be polite. I have a huge feeling these two used to date. She then takes our order and comes back within thirty seconds.
"What would y'all like?" She asks, practically shoving her chest in Gavin's face. Oh yeah, they definitely dated.
"I'll have the 8oz Dallas filet." Says Gavin.
"Oh you always used to get that before." She awes. I roll my eyes. "What would you like?"
"Oh, just the salad." I tell her. She nods and places our order. Two minutes later, she's back. No lie, she didn't give me even one glance before she sat on his lap. While they chatted it up, I uncomfortably drank my tea. She gives him one last kiss on the cheek before getting our food. Well, his food. She came back with the steak and some sauces to dip his side order—fries— with.
"They accidentally forgot to make your salad, but that'll be right out." Jaclyn tells me. She sits next to Gavin this time and they begin to talk again. She almost leans in to kiss him, but I stand up. Gavin notices.
"Where are you going?" He asks.

"Back to my castle so I don't have to watch you two." I'm close to the limo before I'm whirled around and see that Gavin's on one knee. Of course he has to do it here where there's paparazzi to see.
"Mackenzie Ziegler, will you marry me?" I'm shouting 'no' a million different ways in my mind, but I know what I have to say for me to not be trashed for the rest of my life. I simply take a breath in, gasp it out, and reply with a yes.
