y/n pov

on the way back we had dropped Yelena off somewhere i wasn't really paying attention but soon enough we make it home and as we go up the elevator we hear laughing and 40's music playing in the back round. Cap must be in charge of the music. We walk in and pepper stays in the elevator smiles and goes up another floor to hers and tonys room. Nat passes tony his card or well she throws it at him it landing in his drink. He looks over furious as he was about to drink it.

'oooooo what did you guys get' bucky says coming over in an apron that reads "kiss the cook''

'nothing much' maria smirks. Tony who had been on his phone scoffs.

'nothing much, YOU SPENT OVER 100 DOLLARS ON BOOKS' he says before scrolling a bit more 'AND A COUPLE HUNDRED ON CLOTHES, you guys are gonna run me dry one day' tony says walking away.

'that is quite a bit' wanda laughs putting her bags on the table.

'mAyBe?' tony lets out down the hall.

We all laugh and lug our bags onto the table pulling everything out. Everyone had a bit off eachothers in each bag so we were swapping stuff around. I only bought 1 hoodie, a shirt 2 pairs of pants a hat and like 7 books. As oppose to others who had more than a couple shirts pants skirts dresses

I walk over to peter to see him just putting stuff into the oven. 'whatcha doin' i ask peering over his shoulder he jumps and lands on the roof.

'Jesus y/n don't do that' he says taking an earbud out but staying on the roof. I laugh. 'i just finished the gingerbread' he says

'gingerbread?' i question having no idea what it is

'for later' he says with no further explanation. I shrug my shoulders walking back over to the table grabbing my stuff and following wanda down the hall.

When we walk into our room i instantly go over to the bookself.

Wandas pov

I notice as y/n excitedly walks over to the bookshelf to find a spot for her new books. However she pouts slightly when there is no space left. Her eyebrows frow together before grabbing everything out of the book self her powers helping her as it all goes on the floor.

'you good ' i ask amused beginning to put our new clothes away.

'brilliant' she smirks beginning to put everything back in sometimes i will hear her mumble something under her breath while changing books around and i smile.

47 minutes later....

y/n had finished the bookshelf and i had to admit it looked better than before. We took a photo because we would have to pack it away in a couple days. Everyone else had begun packing their rooms about a week ago but with our powers we could do it the night before.

Currently y/n and i were watching 10 things i hate about you, she was laying in between my legs as i scratched and massaged her head. Suddenly there was a knock on the door. I open it not getting up from the bed

'the boys have set something up' nat tells us also sitting on the bed

'do you know what it is nat?' i question

'no idea but it cant be good'

'peter said something about gingerbread whatever that is' y/n comments i was about to answer when nat spoke up

'ginger bread? Sounds awful' nat says screwing up her face

'omg you guys come on i know what this is' i say getting up they follow and its what i expected different lollies and icings sat in bowls in the middle of the table on each plate was a large slab of gingerbread i assumed you would cut your own out to make whatever we were doing. Everyone got to their places and y/n, nat, and bucky looked really confused.

3rd person pov

'okay guys so ginger bread making. Make whatever this is NOT a competition because i know how you all get' tony says eyeing certain people 'so make whatever and have fun' tony says grabbing his knife and beginning to cut his gingerbread.

Everyone begins doing whatever peter was making many many gingerbread people and decorating them as his family his biological one that is. With the remaining bread he made a small house. Sitting the people infront of it.

Clint was walking around the kitchen grabbing a couple items. When he assembled it he smirks and says he is done. Everyone looks at what he did. They started laughing at his creation. A piece of regular bread sat as the base 2 for walls and then 1 for a roof. Inside was a jar of crushed ginger. He smiles and leaves to go pack because he was going back to his family for Christmas.

y/n started to make a house noticing nat start a similar way. When they lock eyes both their eyes glare at eachother a silent challenge being made. Suddenly they both start moving faster and more accurate trying to make their house the best. y/n used her fire power to melt some gummys into the windows giving it a stained glass effect. Natasha huffed and continued with her ice hanging from the roof

Wanda much much calmer than her girlfriend was creating a gingerbread house with people. lollies decorated the outsides at it was quite nice to look at. Her brother on the other hand was making a very questionable dog house looking thing. It looked like a cube with a triangle on top.

Loki was perfectly cutting his pieces and assembling them into a cube. He had stolen all the blue toppings and food colouring and was creating a blue cube. Light and dark shades covered the ginger bread. He also had 2 people to the side.

'is that me brother' thor questions loki shakes his head adding a blue m&m to the corner of the cube

'that's you' they say motioning to the headless gingerbread stabbed under the cube

'oh' he says 'well if that's me who is that' he points to the other person next to loki

'no one important' he answers not giving thor a second glance.

Thor not knowing what to make and his big hands made it impossible to do any detail made gingerbread people. each had distinguishable features so you could tell who was who bucky for example had a very badly iced grey arm. Thor chopped half the legs off some of the cookies to show that they were short.

Tony being tony printed off a sheet and was cutting a bunch of roughly measured pieces no one knew what he was making but peter had seen his template when in the lab earlier he was making an ironman helmet.

Maria made a nice house with people and a dog. It was well decorated but not that detailed.

Bruce was away somewhere un fortunately. bucky and steve teamed up to make a giant gingerbread house and bigger gingerbread cookies than anyone else it was quite funny to watch when their roof fell in

The whole team was having a great time as Christmas music played in the backround. Peter was putting the finishing touches on his people when he reached over to grab some more candy but nicked the side of his plate. It fell rather fast but because of his spider sense he quickly grabbed it before it hit the ground. The impact plus fragile cookies ment some of the heads broke on the cookies. A bit of the decoration on the roof fell in to smashing their iced faces. When he put it back on the table everyone looked at him a bit of pity on their faces.

'at least its more realistic now' he smirks fixing the roof. Tony chocked on his water and y/n highfived him

'PETER' he says the boy just looks at him eating part of his leg that fell off tony shakes his head going back to assembling his helmet. Around 20 minutes later everyone was done and helping put away the remaining ingredients. Nat and y/n had pushed their houses next to eachother studding whos was better. No one and i mena NO ONE would help them decide both the Russians scared them and didn't want to pick a side.

'stalemate' y/n says turning to her mother with a hand out, nat looks up from the houses and shakes her daughters hand

'stalemate' she repeats going and joining the couch eating the dinner that arrived.

Everyone had gone back to their rooms relaxing after the fun challenge. Currently it was 11 pm and y/n needed a drink. Wanda had passed out tired from shopping and what not so she slid out of the witches embrace and into the kitchen.

There she found another person sneaking off to the elevator. 'Where are you going my friend' she mumbles following the god.
