A smile is a mask
A mask for our guilt
Pain
Regret
Hurt
Broken
Sadness
And most of all, our last thread of life
People don't notice that we are hanging on by a single thin line of cotton
That all we want to do is give up
That no matter how hard we try, we just can't find joy
Happiness
Care
Generosity
Honesty
And most of all, love.
No matter how hard we look, it never is revealed to the darkness hidden here
Eventually we turn pathetic
Eventually we give up
Faking a smile can end a life

Synopsis: Hawkin found his place in the world, far from humans and monsters. He abandoned the adventuring life long ago and left civilization, opting for peace and isolation instead. After ten years out in the northern forests, he befriends a strange creature and his life changes. A traveling trio of monks then show up in Hawkin's woods and share with him the best beer he's ever had. After that beer, Hawkin wants to do nothing but accept the brewer's path and brew. This story is intended to be slow and easy. It involves a slow progression of power and brewing more powerful beers. There is occasional conflict.
