Alex and Gia were up on a platform ready to do trapeze, but Alex was beyond nervous.
"Okay. All right," he breathed in a bit while looking down.
"So when do we get the jet packs and aquatic cobras?" she asked in excitement.
"This is a beginners' class, and that's a pretty advanced maneuver," he pointed out.
"Okay, how do we begin?" Gia asked.
"It's a bit complicated unless you understand the whole pitch and yaw, arc, and gravity. All that stuff, which l won't bore you with. Okay," Alex explained then breathed nervously as he prepared to jump.
"Do you need a push?" she wondered.
"No," he answered.
Gia giggled at that.
"Just watch and learn!" Alex told her.
She then gently pushed him and he swung then clumsily flipped to the next one before grabbing onto the other platform with his teeth. Gia followed suit, but did it more skillfully.
"Like that?" she asked.
"That's one way of doing it, sure," he seemed to agree.
Then Alex accidentally let go of the platform and launched himself toward another line, but he hit his head on it, bounced off the net, then used his tail to keep him from falling off the line.
"You use the net!" Gia replied in amazement.
"Yes! Trapeze Americano. We use the net," Alex chuckled
Then Gia did what Alex did, but again more skillfully.
"Trapeze Americano!" Gia cheered.
They continued doing tricks on the lines, getting everyone's attention. Even one enjoyed ramming into one of the poles that supported the platforms. They enjoyed watching the scene before them.
"Look at him go!" one of the puppies commented.
Then when Alex flipped and attempted to grab the next line, he missed and started falling to the ground. But Gia caught him and they landed on the platform. Gia almost fell off until Alex caught her, they spun, then stopped with Alex dipping her. She laughed a bit as he helped her up.

"Wow!" Gia exclaimed as they held paws.
Then Marty was blasted from a cannon and knocked into them, causing them all to fall and bounce on the net. The others gathered around and laughed and cheered in delight.
"E bravo! Bravissima! Vitaly, maybe you even do two hoops, no?" Stefano suggested to the Russian tiger.
Vitaly was soon more nervous about doing his stunt.
Then Alex got down, Skipper pulled him and Y/N to the side.
"Señorita Bell-bottoms. Tenemos una problema grande," Skipper told them in Spanish.
"Muy grande?" Y/N asked, doing the same.
"Qué? Qué grande problema?" Alex wondered, doing it also.
Then they disguised as flowers and looked over a hillside with those same flowers as looked to see Dubois and her men still on their trail.
"Oh, no! She's onto us!" Alex yelled, making Y/N smack him upside the head, his response being, "Ow. What the heck?!"
"Shut it!" she scolded quietly.
"Yeah. Don't make it any easier on the psycho," Skipper added.
"What are we gonna do?" Alex whispered.
"We'd better vamoose. Pronto," Skipper said.
"But we're not ready. We're in the middle of rehearsals," Alex pointed out.
"Then why don't you lilt over, grab your peduncle, and kiss New York good-bye?" Skipper remarked.
"Al, it doesn't look like we have much of a choice. I think these guys have what it takes with what they've learned so far," Y/N pointed out
Reluctantly, Alex agreed and they packed up the stuff in the train.
"Are you sure we are ready?" Stefano asked.
"Of course we're ready! Born ready! Ready steady! Come on, let's go! Let's go, go, go, go, go!" Alex insisted quickly.
The penguins then sounded the horn on the train.

"Grab your luggage and drain your bladders. It's going to be a long ride!" Skipper announced.
The animals got on the train, Alex helping Gia on board.
"All right, everybody, let's blow that promoter away!" Alex declared.
They all cheered as the train made its way toward London.
Meanwhile, Vitaly opened his cabinet of hoops, which made his fear of going through the hoops on fire grow more. The sound of crowd cheering his name haunted him, making him slam the cabinet doors shut and breathe heavily.
'I can't do this,' he thought to himself.

The Cosmic Interloper
Synopsis: A cyborg transhuman escapes her corporate indenture and through unfathomably unlikely circumstances, she ends up in a fantasy world of full of unique magic, angry people with sharp implements, and the whole flavor-spectrum of divine entities. Hilarity ensues. Features: - No blue boxes or cultivation, this is not a LitRPG nor about martial arts - Hard-ish Sci-Fi meets hard-ish magic - Generally trying to keep this "rational" Rationale: My primary goal with The Cosmic Interloper is to write something that I myself would enjoy reading. Of course, that’s not the only motivation, but I think it’s the most important one for me to keep in mind, especially as the author. In fact, this whole story came about because after consuming oodles of fiction, I found myself craving a very specific type of story which I couldn’t find many examples of. Then I asked myself, “why not write it myself?” and here we are. Disclaimer: In general, while I’m not writing a comedy, I do intend for this story to be funny and a bit wacky or absurd. That said though, I am using this story as a vehicle to explore some potentially dark topics including (but not limited to) slavery, speciesism/racism, and existential questions of self, consciousness, and identity. Still, I’m going to leave the “traumatizing content” tags off, because I don’t feel that what I’ve written so far (or plan on writing) exceeds the threshold that would be necessary for me to tag it thusly. Also, [insert your favorite boilerplate “views expressed” disclaimer here]. I shouldn’t need to say this, but the main character can be wrong on occasion (gasp!) and the way she views the world is not the objective truth (if such a thing even exists).
8 162I am the Deathly Hallow.
What if 'the boy who lived' had died? Despite Death's attempt to aid the prophesy, Voldemort's minions found Harry with the Dursley's - before he ever knew who he really was, and finished the Dark Lord's work. With an immortal villain about to be loose on the world, in just another decade, what's Death to do but incarnate himself into the world to set things right.
8 144An old man's new world
An old man on his deathbed has many regrets, but the one thing he regrets the most is not fulfilling his sense of adventure. What would he do if given a new change? I always try to make the characters as realistic as possible by giving them lives of their own and motivations for doing different actions, but because I'm a new author, I might miss a few things, so please, feel free to tell me if something feels fake or unrealistic. I also write as a hobby, and my motivation tends to go up and down. If I'm not feeling motivated, I won't force myself to write. This means that the upload schedule might have abrupt gaps and sudden spurts.
8 85Pillars Between Us
It started with the dent left by the Forest Sprite; A small crack in the ice that encased his memories. Curtis knew that something was off, realizing that he wasn’t who he thought he was and— perhaps Ellis wasn’t the one meant for him. --It's a fantasy novel set in a world where people inhabit on pillars-- (think of m*necaft sky block, you'll get what I mean) -- then give it a hint of action, mystery and (twisted) romance-- and it's influenced by Japanese fantasy light novels (cuz I read a lot of em'). But I'm sure it's a weird one cuz the style of writing isn't the Japanese to English translated kind of style but rather the orthodox English novel kind of writing (which includes a bunch of errors and broken English thanks to me!). In any case, if you're up for it, just beware the story starts out pretty slow.. I mean-- back then, I was still inexperienced ok! I'm gettin' better along the way, Hmmph!
8 204Points of Light - An Oral History of the Collapse
Humanity endures. The phrase is not only an informal slogan of the reformed United Nations, but a rallying cry the world over. Even in the face of extermination, we struggled, we fought, and we endured. But just how close did we actually come? In our darkest hour, how many steps separated our species from oblivion? And are we even safe now? Were the mistakes made by earlier generations really so obvious? Or are they only so blatent when we look back with the advantage of hindsight? If so, what horrors might be staring us in the face even now that no one has the foresight to prevent? Drawn from thousands of interviews, as well as uncorrupted contemporary recordings and source documentation dating back to the early 2000s; Points of Light is a definative look at the last half century of upheaval, prosperity and carnage. It tells the tale of what happened, how it happened, who was responsible and most importantly, what we might be able to do to prevent it from happening again. This is a rewrite of a previously started fiction under a pen-name. Chapters will be updated every two days at 6:00 EST.
