The puppies fought each other about "getting the circus" when Alex and Y/N came up to them.
"Hey, hey, put your weapons down," Y/N said.
"Guys, chill out. Cute and cuddly is obviously not your thing," Alex added.
"He's got us pegged," one of the puppies said before being punched.
"We got a better idea," Alex told them.
"Show 'em, Rico," Y/N replied.
Rico showed them rocket shoes and took off. He went all over the place, making the siblings jump out of the way. But the puppies were all for it, so they ran after Rico as Y/N helped Alex up.
"Well, that happened," she commented.
"Yeah, but they like it," he pointed out.
"True," Y/N agreed then asked, "You really sure this'll work, bro? 'Cause I know they're all on board, but...I don't know."
"Y/N, this will work. It has to. If not, we won't get home. Plus, at least we get these guys a successful circus, with or without us," Alex replied.
"Again, true. I just want to make sure," she said.
He smiled then Gia came up to them.
"Hey. Hi," Alex greeted.
"I admire how you two have inspired these animals," Gia told them.
"Thanks," Alex said.
"It was nothing," Y/N shrugged with a smile.
"And what you said about passion, it was like poetry," Gia continued.
"I love passion and poetry. They go together, really. I know they don't rhyme," Alex rambled a bit.
"Trapeze is my passion!" Gia added.
"Terrific. I look forward to seeing you up there," Alex told her.
"You can teach me!" Gia suggested.
"What?" he asked.
"Teach me," Gia repeated.
"Oh snap," Y/N giggled under her breath.
"Well, I've always been kind of a solo act. So that kind of rules that out," Alex told the jaguar.
"I wonder if you actually do trapeze," Gia smirked.
"Oh, I actually do do trapeze," Alex remarked.
"'Do do'?" Y/N giggled.
"Grow up," Alex groaned at her.
"Make me," Y/N smirked.
"Show me!" Gia said.
"'Show me'? What are we, five?" Alex scoffed.
"I am five, yes," Gia nodded.
This made Alex sigh in defeat.
"She got you beat, bro. Have fun with the trapeze," Y/N smirked again then walked off.

There is a common line of questioning that falls upon students within their first moments at Kingsly. “Why?”. The student asks, “Why am I here?”. This is a futile line of questioning. There are those who remember, and those who do not. I’ll spare you the technical explanation — that’s what we have teachers for. The jist is as follows: those who remember are... how do I put this... more likely. They occupy more time. and the space that time has allowed them — the pertinent amount — is experienced no matter what. Allow me to offer you a bit of personal information: I am not one who remembers. There is no time relevant to me, no space that I occupy. I exist by carving myself here, and continue to exist in the same fashion. You would do well to follow suit. Why am I here? Because I force myself to be. Because the universe, the universes, for all its kicking and screaming, cannot escort me out.

8 159The Undying Magician
How would a true immortal with average talent in magic fare within a world where magic is everything? In the world of Aria, only a small fraction of the population are classified as magicians. These magicians are able to use magic through the manipulation of the mana they are born with and are the core of the military strength within every nation. However, one nation in particular uses magicians to an even higher extreme than the others. This nation is known as The Republic of Arcania. The largest power in Aria. Our story follows Nathan Fox as he graduates from high school and is sent to the Arcane Academy for his required military training as a magician before he eventually serves his ten year term in the military.Nathan has been a true immortal ever since he got a semi-magical disease that makes any damage done to his body instantly reverse itself, bringing him back to his top form on the day that he became an immortal. Ever since then, it has been impossible for Nathan to die.But there are worse things in the world than death. And if the power-hungry magicians of the world were to learn of Nathan's true immortality? Then he might just experience those things himself. What will happen to Nathan as he traverses life in the academy? Will his secret be found out?Or will he be able to safely make it through the four years of academy life with his secret intact? That has yet to be foretold. The beginning of the story starts out slow for what many Royal Road readers are used to and then speeds up after around chapter 20 or so. It is a school arc, so it is supposed to be slow. Most of the combat and action isn't seen until after these chapters, which you can view as an introduction to the world, the characters, and magic itself. Many of the reviews are outdated due to edits I've been making along the way through the story. Specifically some of the edits going over the world itself, including pointing out in the story some of the things a few of the reviewers missed when they wrote their reviews, along with fixing other things that were pointed out in the story from the reviews and comments. This book is also being edited as it's being written, so some small parts might change as I get suggestions from readers. I do not write harem or sexual content in my stories. Ever.
