《Random x Reader one-shots》Luisa Madrigal x female! Reader

Y/N POV:
I'm a witch. Not like one you hear about in stories that scare kids, but a real witch. I make healing tea and food with herbs, I use crystals to change the vibration of the world around me, all that fun stuff. The one thing that makes me a bit supernatural though is that I have telekinetic powers. I moved to encanto a few years back, when I was 20 and I am close to my 23rd birthday. I was pretty alone, but feeling at home in my little cottage at the end of the village. I moved there mostly because of a rumor I heard that the village is centered around a magic family. And it actually made feel like I wasn't so weird anymore. I usually walk around town, and pretty much everyone knows who I am and what I can do, though they mostly come for me with supernatural concerns more than healing ones. Which isn't weird considering the Madrigal family has a healer already.
So today once again I'm just out and about, catching some sun, before I hear a small squeak. I look down and there lies a little baby squirrel. I gasp and immediately stick my hands under my skirt and grab it and wrap the little squirrel into the fabric. I look up hopelessly, sad that I didn't climb enough trees as a child. I sigh and look around for someone, anyone at all... but no one paid anyone else any mind. I look down at the squirrel again.
-Let's get you up in that tree again, huh? I say to it and walk into the town to search for a special person. A person I know can lift me with ease and would love to help out... Luisa. Me and Luisa have a very special relationship. We met under very anxious circumstances...
Flashback:
Walking the town, gathering some spices and herbs for tea and food. On my way home I walk by an alleyway. I stop and take a few steps back to see a familiar figure sulking against the wall.
-Luisa Madrigal? I ask. She looks hopelessly at me.
-What is going on? I ask and walk up to her.
-I can't do anything right and I just let my family down, she sobs hopelessly.
-Oh dear, I put down my basket and sit down next to her.
-And I just realized, how can I be good for anyone else if I'm not even good enough for my family, she continues and aggressively dries her tears. I just sit next to her for a while until she calms down a little bit.
-Well, I might be able to help with that, I say.
-You can? She asks. I smile and nod, standing up again.
-Come on, I softly grab her arm and pull her with me to my little cottage. I sit her down and start putting away all of my stuff that I bought. Luisa sits patiently and looks around while I prepare some tea and plate some cookies. Then when the tea is ready I put a cup in front of her and I take a sip of my own cup.
-Tea? She asks.
-How is that going to help? She asks confused.

-What's on your mind? I ask.
Current time:
I see Luisa further down the street as she gladly helps a family with their house.
-Luisa! I carefully jog up to her and she looks confused at me.
-I need to get this little thing up into that tree, I say and point back at where I came from.
-Would you be so kind? I ask.
-Oh! Yeah sure, ok, she says and nods. I smile and lead the way back to the tree. I start looking for an obvious nest of some kind and Luisa just looks up, confused as to what her task is really. Then I point.
-I need to get up there. Could you give me a hand? I ask. She nods and leans down, intertwining her fingers so that I can step on them. I carefully step with one foot on her hands as she lifts me up to the tree. I grab a branch and with my other foot I climb onto the first branch and I climb two more before I can reach the nest. I carefully put the squirrel back in it's nest.
-There you go buddy, I say. I chirps before I climbs further up the tree.
-He says thank you! I hear a small voice. I look back and there stands Antonio and his army of animals.
-Ah, you're welcome! I smile and Antonio skips away. I start to climb down and Luisa stands ready to catch me. In the corner of my eye I see some fruits... oranges to be exact. I reach over to grab a few and put those in my skirt. I then climb the last branch before Luisa grabs me by my waist and puts me on her shoulder.
-Thank you, I smile and she puts me all the way down. As she then heads to her next mission of the day, I walk with her.
-Here, as a thank you take this orange, I give her the biggest and juiciest orange.
-No it's ok, she says.
-No I want you to have it. You deserve it, I say.
-Please, I beg. She carefully takes it and smiles.
-Thank you, she says.
-Of course, I say.
-Thank you, again, I say before I start walking off to go back home and she stops in her tracks.
Luisa POV:
I watch after Y/N as she walks away. She was so pure, so nice... How did I deserve to be her aquatinted? I start smiling goofily and look down at the orange in my hand. I look at it. It was completely flawless. And you could tell by the color that it was perfectly ripe. I start blushing. Oh she is so cute.
-You know if you like her you should talk to her more, Dolores walks past me.
-Huh, what? I ask shocked.
-She's pretty quiet generally. But if someone asks about you she always pitches up in her voice. It's a sign, she says before she squeaks and walks away.
-You know, she's right, I look down and Antonio is talking to me now.
-She talks to the animals sometimes. She talks about you a lot, he says.
-I-Uh.... I don't know what... I just shake my head.
-It's ok. She just wants to be around you more. She wishes you were kinder to yourself, he says before he sends me a look and walks away after his older sister. I then look at the orange again before I peel it and eat a slice. It was heavenly, almost as if her touch made it like that. I then tuck the rest into my pocket before I head to the next chore. Maybe I'll pay her a visit later...

Well I didn't, I chickened out in the last second. And I made the mistake of telling Mirabel that...
-C'mon Luisa, you have to visit her! She says.
-No, I'll look stupid, I say as I continue through Encanto.
-If even Antonio knows that she fancies you then what's the problem? She asks. I sigh.
-Luisa, what is the problem? Mirabel puts her hand on my shoulder as we stop.
-I may be scared that she'll stop like me if she gets to know me, I say sheepishly.
-Oh Luisa... Mirabel says and makes an effort to hug me. I hug her back.
-Now don't you worry, I'll make sure you get the afternoon off, Mirabel says as she lets go.
-Why? I ask.
-So that you can go make yourself feel pretty before going to Y/N's, she smiles at me before she runs off to cancel my chores. I smile.
-Thanks Mira, I say after her.
-You're welcome! She yells back. I turn to go home with a skip in my step and a smile on my face. When I get home, my parents look at me like I was sick. I probably am but hey, it feels good. I hop up to my room and into my bathroom to look in the mirror. I curl the little strand poking out on my forehead with my finger and I flex in my mirror. I then take out my makeup and start experimenting up a look. I carefully place the mascara brush to my eyes and try not to poke myself in the eye. I do a couple of times but still. When I'm all done I look myself in the mirror again.
-You got this Luisa, just go over there... "You wanna hang out?", I practice in the mirror before I cringe.
-Ew no... "Yooou wannaaa.....", I trail off.
-Luisa? Mom knocks on my door.
-Be right there! I yell before I take all of my things and shove them into a cupboard. I then rush to open my door and behind her stands Abuela. I start to sweat.
-Hi mama, I say. She smiles at me.
-We all heard from Dolores, Abuela says. My stomach drops and I gulp.
-And me and your Abuela thought it would be a good idea to bring some bread, she says and gives me a basket of many different types of bread. I stare confused at them.
-And don't forget to smile, Abuela encourages.
-B-wah? I ask.
-Oh I know you are worried about liking a girl but I knew at least one or two of you would end up being gay, Abuela says and laughs.
-Now go on, if you're gonna be home before dinner you better leave now, she ushers me and I am just completely befuddled. I did not expect this approach from Abuela. Mama? Sure, but not Abuela.
Y/N POV:
I am brewing the next few days worth of syrup to put in my tea. As I stir slowly, I hear a knock on my door.
-Coming! I yell and wash my hands before I dry them on my apron and walk towards the door. When I do I have to look up.
-Luisa, hello, I say surprised.
-Hi, um... she trails off.
-I brought bread, she says and stretches out a basket of bread. I take it and look at the different bread... they look fresh.
-Oh these look yummy! Would you like to come in and share them with me? I ask and step aside.
-Yes, thank you, Luisa says and walks inside.
She sits down carefully as I close the door and cut up some of the bread and put them on the table. I make us some tea and sit down. She nervously sips her tea.
-Was there anything special on your mind? I ask.
-Hmm? Oh, no, I just wanted to hang out, she says and smiles. I smile back.
-That's really nice, I say.
-No problem, she says back.
It stays quiet for a while before I go back to my pot and stir a little. I feel Luisa walk up and look into the pot. I blush profusely but can hide it by looking into the pot. I feel her figure against my back.
-What are you making? She asks.
-Uhm, syrup... for uh, for my tea, I say and stammer.
-Thats what tastes so nice? She asks and I nod.
-Hey I just remembered that I need some more oranges. Would you want to help me? I ask.
-Sure... I Uh, I have nothing more to do today so why not! She says and I leave the syrup on a low heat and dust my hands off before we head out.
We head out and we try to find the tree with the most oranges on them. When we do I try to climb it myself, but Luisa picks me up and puts me on her shoulder, which makes it easier for me to grab the oranges. I actually didn't need any oranges... But I want to spend time with Luisa. I pluck a bunch to maybe make some orange jelly or something like that. When I get put down I look up at her again. She looks confused at me and I just smile.
-Come, I think the syrup is done now, I say and gently take her big hand and lead her back home. She washes her hands and I take a spoon and take a little of the sweet syrup from the pot and blow a little air on it. I then lift it up to Luisa's mouth and hold my other hand under the spoon.
-Taste it, I encourage her. She hesitantly takes it and I take the spoon out of her mouth. She lights up.
-How is it? I ask.
-It's sweet... like you, she says and then we both blush.
-I-I'm sorry, she then immediately saves. I just smile.
-Thank you... I like you too, I say and she smiles.

Falling from Earth
He won. He defeated Fate. He took his life into his own hands, the only way he knew how. He killed himself. ......................... He cheated. Fate cheated too. He didnt die. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I'm a amateur writer. English is my first language. I appreciate it when people point out grammar issues. I also appreciate constructive critiques. I'm writing this mostly because I've read so many novels on here that i feel that I should give back to the community. Will be at least a chapter a week. Every Friday. I keep a buffer of 3 chapters, so if i get on a roll and write more chapters, there will be more updates. My chapters will be at least 3000 words, prologue excluded. I'm shooting for more like 6000 words a chapter, mostly because i never like how small the chapters are in most novels on here. Not enough MEAT. Oh and comments that touch my heart get me excited to write. Just figured that out.
