Lucy POV:
Being a talking raccoon on earth made you get weird looks sometimes, but these aliens were on a whole other level. I'm shooting them down with a blast gun while running towards them, shooting off feet and heads of bigger alien monster thingys. Then suddenly in front of me there is a blast and a familiar figure comes out of it.
-Thor, I smile. But then I see a big tree and another raccoon. The raccoon laughs and shoots around with his gun. I then look towards the aliens again I run past Thor.
-Hey Thor, glad to have you back, but we're trying not to die, I shout at him and shoot at the aliens some more.
Rocket POV:
-Wait, who's that? I ask and look at the other talking raccoon that just ran past us.
-That's Y/N, my earthly rabbit friend, Thor says and I get off of his shoulder.
-Still not a rabbit Thor, but sure, I say and shoot an alien that jumps at us.
-Now let's save some people, I say.
-I am groot, Groot agrees.
Lucy POV:
The whole time that I am protecting earth and specifically Wakanda, I keep on looking towards the other talking raccoon. He was weird, but in a good way. He had some of the coolest guns and weapons I have ever seen.
But at the same time, I don't have time to think about him, I have to think about not dying. These guys were nothing you'd like to fight in a bar on a Friday evening. No they really understood the assignment, at least if the assignment was: crush everything in sight. I empty gun after gun on ammo, I throw bombs after granades after missiles, but these aliens are not budging.
I get to the opening in the safety bubble and surprisingly there were not as many aliens here. But I start shooting at them from the bag and get the few ones that are running through the forest like headless chickens.
And I do this for maybe and hour or so. Sweat is running through my fur, I feel my arms will to give up but I do not let them fold. Earth was counting on me. No matter how miserable it is, it's still my home, and I will not let the people die here, not on my watch. The other avengers has joined me in the woods. They're also fighting for their lives. I have to save some of their asses a few times, but they're alive.
Suddenly, everything goes quiet. I turn around. Before my eyes, I see warriors, avengers, animals.... They disappear. Like dust they flew away in the wind.
-No.... No no no no! I shout as I see Bucky Barnes starting to dust. I run over and hop onto Steve's back. I watch over his shoulder as Bucky gets dusted. My tears join the sweat on my cheeks and I turn to see the tree, that other raccoons friend also get dusted. I see as the other raccoon falls onto his knees and breaks down. I climb down from Steve and walk over slowly. I see birds above me also get dusted, making dust rain down over us. It lands and stick in my fur. I kneel down beside the raccoon. He is viciously grabbing the grass and crying.

-Close friend? I ask. He just start shaking.
-Yeah, I say shakily and tears starts flooding again and I sniffle. I turn my head. Close friends, new friends, everyone is just disappearing. I shake my head and decide that I can't break down beside that guy. I don't know him. Besides he's mourning his own right now. I stand up and turn around, but I feel someone tug my arm. I look back and it's the raccoon. His eyes are red stained and tears keep on building up in his eyes.
-Please stay... I have no one, he shakes. I sit back down and put my head on his chest as I start sobbing.
Two years later:
-Hey Rocket, pass me the cereal, I say as I hear him walking into the kitchen. He hops onto a stool and pushes the cereal box towards me and I fill up my bowl again. I take a couple of spoonfuls and stare deeply into my bowl.
I was having an episode again. My doctor had diagnosed me with severe PTSD after the fight. Some night I just couldn't bear to be alive when all of my friends were gone. Thor had moved. He was gone. Natasha had taken the lead. Steve was holding support groups. Tony had retired and only the lord knows what Bruce was up to. I know it had been two years but I got the worst flashbacks. They gave me panic attacks every time.
-We're leaving today, Rocket says. I stop my spoon from reaching my mouth as I continue chewing my mouthful of cereal. Rocket had been my safety net. My comfort. He has been needing to leave earth a couple of times on smaller trips to find Thanos. To get revenge.
I look at Rocket. He looks at me it's a pending look. He didn't know how I would react. Neither did I. I reacted differently every time he said those words.
-Ok... I say numbly. Rocket sighs as I look back at my bowl and eat another spoonful. He walks up onto the counter and pushes my bowl away and hugs me as I cry silently.
Rocket POV:
I know what Lucy is going through. We all are. But her feelings were more complex. No one knows what her reaction will be for different things or even the same things. I feel her warm tears stain my fur and I hear someone walking towards the kitchen. It's Carol. She stops in her tracks as she sees us and I wave her away with one of my arms. She nods and walks back.
As Lucy calms down I squeeze her extra tight.
-Come with me, I beg.
-I can't Rocket, Lucy sniffles. I let go and look at her.
-Why won't you come with me? I ask.
-You know why, she says and grabs her bowl back and take more cereal into her spoon.
-Lucy I know- you don't know shit, she cuts me off. I decide to stay quiet.
-I have to stay here. I don't know what they'll do without me. Or what I'll do without them, she says.
-But you need time for yourself, I say.
-I definitely do not, she gruffs.

-Well if you're gonna be like that maybe you should come with us, I say and she puts her spoon in her bowl.
-Get some revenge going in you, to find that purple ball sack, I say. She looks at me.
-You know I can't do that, she whispers and looks into my eyes. Natasha and Carol comes into the kitchen and start making breakfast. As I watch the humans, Lucy takes her bowl and puts them in the dishes and starts walking out. I hop off of the counter and follow her. She walks up the stairs and I follow her upstairs.
Lucy POV:
As I get to the hallway were all of our rooms are, I get stopped and turned around. Rocket is grabbing my shoulders tightly. I look into his eyes. He then hugs me even tighter than before. I hug back.
-Lucy I care about you so much... Please... Just let me care, Rocket says.
-I don't know how Rocket... I don't know how, I answer. Rocket then let's go.
-Then let me show you how, he says. I nod. He gives me a soft kiss. His whiskers are tickling me as his nose touches mine. When he lets go, he backs up.
-I am so sorry, he then says panicked. His panic cracks me up and I giggle and he looks shocked.
-You have the weirdest way of showing you care, I say.
-Heh.... Yeah I-I try, he says shamefully.
-So you're gonna leave with that? I ask.
-I suppose so, he says.
-Then I... I hope I get more when you get back, I say and feel my face become warm.
-Y-yes, de-definitely, Rocket smiles. I lean forward and softly kiss his cheek.
As Rocket leaves:
-Then I'll see you in a couple of months? I ask as Rocket has his duffel bag over his shoulder and he turns around on the walk way. He smiles.
-Of course you will. Besides, I'll message you every day, he says.
-Everyday? I ask.
-Every single day, he confirms.
-Good... Now find that purple son of a bitch, I say. He salutes me as the engines of the space craft start.
-Will do gorgeous! He yells before running into the space craft and closing the walkway.
Three years later:
So... Someone turned the time back. Well, we turned the time back. There's a war going on around me. I hear screaming and screeching and metal clanging. I look around me and it is as if everyone went in slow motion. I get snapped back into reality by Rocket.
-Babe, you alright? He asks as I stand up. I bring a hand to my head were blood is trickling, but it's only a little.
-Yeah I'm fine, I say and pick up one of the aliens weapons since they took mine.
-Alright but stay close, I have a feeling that somethings going to happen real soon, Rocket says and we launch ourselves into battle again.
I shoot the aliens with their own weapons and they fall immediately. I shoot down every unfamiliar creature I see. But suddenly I hear tucked behind me. Tony Stark as wrestling Thanos.
-Rocket! I shout and he turn to me, not stopping the bullets spewing out of his machine gun.
-It's Stark! I yell. Rocket stops and runs over. Stark is laying defeated on the ground. Thanos is about to snap his fingers again and I gasp and hide in Rockets side. But....
Nothing happens... I look back up and I see Stark sitting up on his knees.
-And I..... he says and brings up his hand to show his own gauntlet. It was filled with all of the infinity stones.
-Am... Iron Man, Stark says and snaps. Light surrounds him and I know that if I don't interfere, he will die. I saw what the stones had done to Hulk-Banner. I am not letting another friend die.
-Tony! I say and launch myself at him. I grab his shoulder and an infinite amount of energy envelops my body.
-Lucy no! Rocket says.
-Rocket please! I reach out my hand. He hesitantly grabs my hand and shouts in agony as the energy surrounds him too. But I feel lighter somehow. I look to Tony's other side. The avengers that are left are joining us and sharing the energy. We share it through our bodies and all around us, aliens, their robots and all of the pain disappears. It turns to dust. Just as my friends had done 5 years ago.
As the energy falters off, I fall to the ground.
-Lucy? Lucy answer me please, I hear Rockets voice. I groan and I hear a sigh of relief.
-Oh thank god, Rocket says and I open my eyes and look at him. Both of our furs is standing out to all angles. I giggle slightly before I feel a pain in my rib cage.
-Yeah not doing that again, I groan. I look at the others as I put pressure on my ribs. Rocket helps me stand up and I see mrs Stark fly up to Tony.
Tony opens his eyes.
-Did we do it? He croaxes.
-We did it darling, mrs Stark says and she grabs him into a hug. Everyone around us cheers and I get chills. I smile and hug Rocket tightly.
-We did it babe, we did it, I squeal.
A couple of days later:
We've all been in hospital for the last week. They're checking us all for radiation, sicknesses, infected wounds, the works. But today the most of us are being let go. Rocket and a few others got let go two days ago and Tony as well as Steve and Thor are staying a bit longer. Rocket catches me as I jump into his arms.
Thanks to Stark technology, everything that was ever destroyed are now repaired.
-Babe, Rocket says.
-Yeah? I ask.
-Are you coming with me this time? He asks. I burrow my face in his neck before I let go.
-Do I have a choice? I ask. He looks confused at me. I look down at my stomach.
-What do you....Holy sh-
-We just had a war and you guys had time to make a BABY!?

8 237I Have to Text my Ex, or the World Explodes
Do you have an anus? If you do, here's a great little nonsensical story for you to turn off your brain and read while you're stuck in the toilet with nothing to do. Here's the premise of my new story: Andrew Garage thought he was the Chosen One.Stuck in a time loop that reset whenever a meteor crashed to Earth, he was determined to save mankind and get himself out of the loop. On his seventh try, he finally eliminated the catastrophic meteorite with an Antimatter Gun.However, a self-proclaimed Goddess suddenly appeared and sent Andrew back into the loop again because he saved the world 'the wrong way'. As Andrew bitterly scavenged for solutions, he found out that the reason the meteor kept crashing into Earth because. . . he kept ignoring his exes' texts. Great for people with anuses and people who want to destroy meteorites. Not recommended for people who expect actual logic like NOT winning the lottery five times in a row.
8 89Hail the King
When the common folk hear of the Hell King, they think of many different things"It is the king of monsters!" "A calamity unfolded that knows nothing but destruction" "The true pinnacle of hatred and wrath." "A savage demon that eats children" "It's no doubt the king of despair as well as every child's bed monster." However, when you ask those scholars of ages long past, they will answer "It is one of the many riddles of life, one that no man has yet solved." "It is a great question, one so great that you shouldn't ask." "I honestly don't know." "Truly child? Since youth have I dreamed of meeting it, and you expect me to fullfill such a task in my lifetime?" "Nobody truly has any evidence it is evil, yet at the mere mention of the name I tremble in fear." One thing is for sure. Nobody truly knows who said Hell King really is. Not the greatest of cultivators, the grandest of swordsmen nor the wisest of sages. Nobody even knows where the stories of the Hell King come from, and yet everybody knows them. This is a story about a broken man, a man cursed by the heavens, an enigma to the whole world, a ruler of a dead kingdom and a monster born out of despair. "I wish not for women, I wish not for gold nor do I wish for happiness. All I wish for is to be granted eternal rest."
