Y/N POV:
-Listen up! Einstein, give me a fender bender at two lights. Tito, you're in charge of electronics, Dodger starts listing everyone's roles.
-Rita, Y/N and I will work the crowd, Dodger looks at me and I nod.
-Francis? I ask and look slyly at him.
-I know... My public awaits, Francis says dramatically.
-What about me? Oliver asks excitedly from beside me.
-you help Tito, Dodger says.
-Alright C'mon gato, Ey uncle Tito will show you how it's done, Tito says and starts dragging Oliver with him.
-Are you sure it's a wise idea to pair him up with Tito? I whisper to Dodger.
-Yeah I'm sure, don't worry he's got this, Dodger says. I remain very hesitant but listen to my husband.
-Alright gang. We'll go in: 3.... 2.... 1, Dodger says and we all split up. I begin trotting after Dodger and Rita as we try to catch up to the car two lights ahead. I just see Einstein hopping in front of the big fancy car as it stops and comes to a halt. A big man steps out of the car and Francis lays in front of the car, playing dead expertly. As people crowd around the car, I start going around the people, reaching into their pockets and purses, grabbing everything I can reach.
As I walk out from the crowd, I walk proudly with a purse full of wallets and other things probably worth money in it. People awe at me as I walk past with a big smile on my face. Then suddenly I hear zaps and crashing bins before a coal black Tito is sitting in front of me. I drag him to an alleyway, where everyone else joins.
-Where's the kid? Rita asks, panting heavily.
Tito coughs violently as his hair sparks with electricity.
-He must still be in the car man, he coughs coarsely.
-Oh that poor little kid, I gasp.
-You we're supposed to keep an eye on him Tito! Dodger scolds Tito.
-Well it's hard to watch anything when you're getting barbecued, man! Tito coughs in response.
-What're we gonna do Dodge? Rita asks and places a supportive paw on my back.
-Tito you're coming with me, Dodger says.
-The rest of you will get back to Fagin, Dodge says and nods to me. I nod back and start heading towards where Fagin goes to bargain cheap stuff he found on the ground. Rita asks me to go home after a while since it doesn't look too good for him.
They didn't come back until later that evening and I quickly stand up from my bed as I see them come in. I quickly walk up to Dodger.
-What happened? Did you find him? I ask. Dodger avoids the question and walks past me.
-Dodge? I ask. He grumpily lays down in Fagins couch with his back towards me. Suddenly the little orange cat walks in and I look confused between the two.
-Dodge stop avoiding your wife, Rita warns.
-Nah nah, let him go back to his little girl, he doesn't wanna stay here, Dodge grumbles.
-Dodge it's not that I don't want to be with you guys it's just- No we get it, Dodge interrupts him and I sigh.
-It's alright Oliver, just... let him cool off, I say and nudge Oliver past Dodger.
-You can go back home... I think your human is looking for you, I whisper to him. He looks back at us and starts going up the stairs of the boat.
But before he can, Fagin comes home and picks him up. He wallows in self pity as he tiredly walks to his couch with Oliver in his hands. We all look sadly at our human. Dodger hops off of the couch as Fagin sits down and he begins fiddling with Olivers necklace, that I didn't even realize he wore.

-What's this? He asks and reads the golden plate on the necklace.
-So that's where you've been! It looks like you're doing alright for yourself, Fagin praises the kitten and I jump up to place my front paws on the arm rest of the couch.
-You're owner probably spends more money on catnip than we do on food in a month, he then sadly says and everyone joins around him.
-He's probably worrying sick about you. All alone in that big house, with only his money to comfort him... only his millions and millions of dollars to m-..... he stops his dad ranting before a light goes off in his brain and he starts to smile menacingly.
-That's it! We're saved! He shouts and hops out of the couch, jumping around old bottles and junk laying on the floor.
-What a plan! Oh yes, oh uh, uh, paper! Paper, he just says random words and we all look confused at each other.
-Dear mr. Rich- aahhhh, he scraps his writing and starts over.
-... mr VERY rich... he says and continues to laugh like a crazy man. He had placed out an ironing board to write on and the legs were giving up on it, so he crouches lower and lower as he writes.
-Dodge I'm worried for his sanity, I whisper to my husband.
-That makes two of us, he says.
So we're standing at the peir, late at night. It's dark and it's raining. Dodger had gone with Fagin to bargain with Sykes and I was nervous. Really nervous. I knew what that man and his dogs could do. The puppies were crawling amock and I felt sick already. I look around, the thunder making me nervous.
-What's up mama bear, you ain't feeling good? Tito asks.
-No... Something feels... wrong, I say.
-And I don't mean the puppies, I add.
Suddenly Fagin comes back and starts ranting about how stressed he is and how the cat owner is late.
-Wait where's Dodger? I ask and look around.
-I'm right here sweet cheeks, Dodger groans and limps towards us. I gasp in horror.
-Oh Dodge, Rita sighs. I quickly walk up to him and nudge his muzzle. He smiles at me, through the pain.
-Hey Rita, he stands up straight. You could still see that he was as in pain, but he seemed to not be too bothered by it. I look at him with a concerned look. I don't want him to be hurt and hide it from me. He looks back at me.
-They never put a paw on me, he reassures and I smile and nuzzle in to him.
-I just want you to be ok, I say.
Suddenly Fagin jumps up and tangles himself in hanging rope and we look at the culprit. It's a small girl with red hair and a yellow raincoat. He starts muttering about how he was framed and something about the FBI before the ropes give in and he falls.
-Listen, little girl, this is a tough neighborhood, you better go home, everyone joins around him and Tito starts flirting with a poodle that the little girl had brought with her. The poodle was also dressed in a raincoat, but a pink one, and looked disgusted at the small chihuahua.
-I can't, I'm lost, the little girl looks down at a very familiar paper.
-Ah gee, lost huh? Well, I'd help but I'm kinda busy right now, Fagin says and turns his back on the girl. I try nudging him on the knee with my nose but he just waves me off. I saw how he hid Oliver in his pocket.

-What are you doing down here anyway? Fagin asks. I try nudging him on the knee with my nose but he just waves me off. I saw how he hid Oliver in his pocket.
-I came to find my kitty, she says. Oliver...
-Your kitty!? Fagin says shocked.
-Somebody stole him, she says sadly and hangs her head. I buff on Fagins pocket this time, and he hides it.
-B-b-but are you sure? He asks and I roll my eyes.
-Maybe you made a m-mistake, maybe... Fagin tries to cover up his tracks but fails immensely. I see headlights turn off and I grow worried. My puppies rumbled as they feel my growing anxiety.
-Y/N? Dodger asks and I try to make out what's going on in the darkness. Then I hear growling.
Fagin and the girl continues to talk about her cat and the money as I try to make out some sort of shape in the dark.
-What kind of person would steal a poor little kitty? The girl asks and I take a few steps forward.
-Y/N, there's nothing there, Tito yells.
-You don't know what I, I mean he, maybe he was up against a wall, at the end of his rope, Fagin excuses. The girl starts crying at his words and I stop and turn back. I walk up to the girl and nudge her hands.
-Maybe he was a poor desperate man, Fagin says sadly.
-It's still wrong! The girl exclaims.
-I'm so scared, I don't know what to do, she turns to me and pets my head.
-Neither do I, sighs Fagin and walks off. I carefully bump my nose on the girls cheek as she starts crying again and I sit close to her. She then stands up and slowly slowly starts to walk away. I huff sadly and Dodger looks sadly at me.
-H-hey guess what, I found this little kitty right here alone, do you think I-it could be yours? Fagin says and fakes finding Oliver. The girl smiles brightly and Oliver jumps to her and she hugs him tightly.
-Oliver! Oh my Oliver, she says and sways the cat back and forth. I smile and my tail wags back and forth. But the happiness doesn't last too long. A car engine starts and headlights shine brightly over the pier. I immediately stand up.
-Sykes! Fagin gasps.
-No no no wait Sykes, Fagin tries to run towards the car and reason with the man, but Sykes speeds past, towards us. Dodger immediately pulls me away from harms way and I see the little girl get pulled into the car and it drives off.
I breathe heavily. Sykes closes their deal as he drives off with the girl. But he left Oliver behind.
-Are you ok kid? Dodge is the first to get to Oliver.
-Jenny? Jenny! They took Jenny! Oliver says and immediately wakes up.
-Don't worry, we'll get her back, Dodge says.
-You will? Oliver asks.
-Yeah, we will? I ask.
-Hey, have positivity kid, Dodge reassures.
-C'mon man, let's go! Tito hurries and everyone takes off.
-Woah, wait! Dodge are you sure about this, the pups are gonna come at any second and if you get hurt, I will- I start and Dodge stops me.
-I'll be fine. When have I ever not been fine? He asks. I give him an unimpressed look.
-Trust me, we'll all be ok. Dodge says.
-Promise? I ask.
-Of course, he says. I smile and then nod.
-Ok then... let's do this! Dodge says and everyone takes off. Fagin gets on his moped and I jump in the kart. I bark at him to start and go, but the others are in the lead. The moped doesn't start and Fagin looks angrily at the machine.
-Now what the... he looks back at me.
-I will get this thing started, now don't you worry, he says and tries to kick start it over and over again. I lay down in wait for the moped to work, when I feel a sharp pain in my stomach.
Eh that's probably nothing, I think. I've had a lot of those lately, but nothing I couldn't survive. Then the moped miraculously start and Fagin laugh loudly as he starts going as fast as the machine would allow, off to Fagins.
It took us a while but in the distance we could finally see the fish factory. Then I felt the pain again. Meh. Like I've said I've had it loads of times now, it's fine.
-Alright, hold on now girly, we're in for a treat, he says and then drives through a wall of windows. He drives around the factory and yells for everyone to get in, before he takes off on the raid again. I help everyone up and last up Dodger. As he settles in, I feel the pain again. This time I wince a little.
-Are you ok? Dodger asks.
-Yeah I'm fine. Keep an eye on those two and I'll keep an eye on Fagin, I tell him. He nods and turns back to where Sykes has gotten into his car and is coming closer. I bark at Fagin to go faster.
-I'm trying! He yells back at me as he stomps on the gas. Somehow he parries into a subway station and somehow Sykes follows in his car. In a sheer panic, Fagin drives down onto the train tracks.
-Oh my lanta! I say as we drive through a dark subway tunnel where a train could be arriving any time. We all jumó forward and I look back, the car had driven so close that it bumped into us. Jenny had fallen onto the car where Sykes had taken her by the arm. Oliver jumps after and bites his hand, making Jenny fall to hang into the car by herself. But Oliver biting Sykes makes him throw Oliver back into the car.
-Dodger do something! I yell. Dodger hops after the cat and I can hear ruckus going on in the back of the car. I hear electrical chords snap, whimpering and growling. But one whimper I knew.... Dodger. I hold my breath as I wait for him to come back. As I do, we drive out on a bridge.
-Mr Fagin please help me! Jenny yells. Fagin hops out of his chair in front to help Jenny and I grab Tito by the neck and put him in the drivers seat.
-Hey hey, look at this! Vroom vroom! He says and dramatically holds the steering wheel. I slap him over the head.
-Keep your eyes on the road Tito! I scold. I hear screaming behind me and look back. Sykes had tales Jenny by her ankle.
-Help me! She yells as Fagin drifts further away from her. Then... I hear a train horn.
-Ah! Save me Alonso! The poodle lady yells and grabs Tito from the seat.
-Let me go woman, I'm driving! Tito yells at her as she tries to grab the steering wheel and honks back.
-Jenny jump! I look back and Fagin catches the girl... but still no sight of Dodger and Oliver. The pain comes back again and way way worse.
-Alonsoooo! The poodle yells again. Tito hop off of the tracks and drives up the bridge beside the tracks instead. Behind me I see Sykes throw Dodger and Oliver off of his back, before he gets hit by the subway train.
Tito then slowly backs back down the bridge and Jenny and I immediately hop out of the kart.
-Oliver? Jenny asks as Dodger comes forward with the kitty. He had lost his bandana and held the little cat in his mouth. The girl gasps and takes the unconscious kitty and I run up to Dodger and nuzzle into him.
-Are you ok? I ask.
-A little bruising but I'll be fine, he says and winces a bit. Then we look at Oliver. He wasn't waking up. No matter what measures Jenny took, he didn't wake up. We all hung our heads and I push the irregular and nagging stomach pains away. But then we hear a gasp.
-Oliver! Jenny says happily and the kitty jumps up at her. He was alive!
Jenny reaches out for us and we all cuddle up against her. Then suddenly the worst pain I've ever felt hits. I audibly whimper and everyone looks at me.
-Y/N? Y/N what's wrong? Dodger immediately tends to me.
-I- I think it's time, I breathe out as I start getting contractions.
-What!? Everyone yells. I lay down on my side and whimper as the contractions end.
-Oh my! The puppies! Th-they're coming, I- we have to get out of here, Fagin says and picks me up as we take the kart and drive back to safe land. I whimper as the contractions come again. I groan loudly as I try to push but it feels like nothing's happening.
-Hey, you're doing great, Dodger smiles at me and I smile back in pain.
-Let's go to my house, we have towels there! Jenny suggests.
-Great idea! Fagin says.
-Turn left here! Jenny yells directions and I continue to push and push and push. I get put inside on some towels and only Fagin, Dodger and another older man is around me.
About two hours later, I had pushed out 8 puppies. I was exhausted. The little ones were all dotted and spotted like their dad. Georgette, who I learned was the poodle lady, had even given me some of her dog food. Dodger kisses my head before he lays down and let's me support my head in his side.
-We made some pretty good looking babies, huh? He asks and I snicker.
-They look like you, I point out and he wiggles his eyebrows. I roll my eyes and he laughs. The others are let into the room and they're all aweing at the pups.
-Now now, we must leave them alone, she is very tired now, the butler man says and ushers everyone but me and Dodger out.
-Sleep tight honey, I'll watch the kids tonight, Dodger says.
-I love you, I say and look up at him.
-I love you more, he answers and we cuddle as I close my eyes and finally fall asleep.
