Y/N POV:
I fumble around the room. I had just arrived in a new hotel and someone bumped into me from behind and... I lost my walking cane.
-Excuse me? Is this yours? I hear a voice ask.
-W-what is it? I ask nervously as I fumble in front of me.
-It's a-Uh.... stick? The voice says. I giggle.
-I'm sorry, I'm blind... yes, it's my walking stick, I say and receive my walking cane.
-Oh, you shouldn't apoligize, I'm the one who should apologize, he says and I giggle.
-Let me give you a hotel treat, the voice says and a arm hooks though mine.
-A "hotel treat"? Sounds fancy, I say as we stop. The arm disappears and I grab onto a board in front of me.
-I can provide an entry level room, and I assure my staff can fulfill any extra help that you could possibly need, he says.
-Why thank you, mr....? I ask.
-Oh, my apologies. My name is Dracula, the man says and I smile.
-I'm Y/N, I say. I feel a hand lift my hand and something being placed on top of it.
-Let me just check you in, Dracula says and puts my hand down gently, as I start hearing tapping on some type of keys. Then it stops.
-Is there anything I could help you with? Dracula says. I smile.
-Well... a date wouldn't sound too bad, I say.
-O-oh... well, that can be arranged, Dracula says. Some more key tapping.
-With who...? Dracula asks and pauses his tapping. I giggle.
-With you, silly!
A couple of (100) years later:
-Drac dear, you have my walking cane, right? I ask as I brush off my dress.
-Darling, I always have your walking cane, Drac says and kisses me on the cheek.
-You're the best, I say and get the cane.
-Only for you, Drac says and grabs me around my arm and we head out.
-That's not true Drac, and you know it, I say and grin as I hear the familiar "ding" from the elevator.
I've been living in the hotel with Dracula for a while. I've been beside him when the first human checked into the hotel. I was there when Mavis and said human got married and had a baby. And now, it's time for us to take a break. So Mavis, booked us a cruise.

Drac greets his friends as they walk by, and my smile falters.
-Y/N, darling, what's wrong? Drac asks.
-Oh it's nothing, I shrug.
-But you're not smiling... I know something's wrong when you hide your fangs... Drac says and stops, putting a hand on my cheek.
-No, it's silly, I say.
-Anything making you unhappy is not silly, Drac says. I sigh.
-I wish I could see... I say.
-Oh darling... Drac says.
-I want to see people again. I want to see what they look like. What your friends looks like, What Mavis, Johnny and Dennis looks like, I say and I feel a tear fall down from my eyes.
-But I can't.... because I'm blind! I sniffle. I feel Dracs arms surround me and I cry into his chest.
-Dad? What's going on? I hear Mavis' voice.
-Y/N isn't feeling well... maybe we'll cancel tonight, Drac says. I dry my nose and pull away.
-No, we can't cancel tonight! You told me there was something important you needed to tell me, I say.
-But honey, you're not feeling well, Drac says.
-There's a lot of days I haven't been feeling well, Drac. That doesn't mean I'm gonna leave you, I say and wave my hand around in the air for his cheek. Then his hand finds mine and he puts it on his cheek.
-Alright... Are you sure you're ok with this? Drac asks and I sniffle and nod.
-Yeah, I say.
-Mavis? Do you, Johnny and Dennis wanna come with us? I ask.
-Oh, um... she pauses.
-Sure! You two go ahead and get a table and we'll be there soon, Mavis says and I hear footsteps disappearing from us. Dracs arm hooks through mine again and he leads me towards the restaurant.
Drac helps me onto the chair and I place my cane on the floor next to me. We sit in silence for a while.
-You know, I wasn't born with it... I say.
-What do you mean? Drac asks.
-I wasn't born blind... I say.
-How... If you don't mind me asking, how did it happen? Drac asks and I feel him grab my hand.
- When I was younger... Humans ambushed me and my father when we were on a full moon walk... and... yeah, they... they hit my head on a rock and... a nerve broke off in my head, causing me to be blind, I say.

-How old were you when this happened? Drac asks and starts softly stroking my palm with his hand.
-I was about... 1700 years old? And I've never seen anything since, I say simply. Drac turns silent again.
-If you... If you could see me... what do you think I would look like? Drac asks and I smile.
-I don't know Drac, I-I, I say.
-Try... in your mind, what do I look like? Drac asks and I giggle.
-Well... You're very tall. And you have fair, smooth skin. You have strong blue eyes and a strong posture, I start.
-But the thing I see most is that you have a strong heart... I say. Drac chuckles.
-You know it doesn't beat, he says.
-Neither does mine... But just because it doesn't beat, it doesn't mean that it doesn't work, I say. Drac plants a kiss on my hand.
-So, love birds and beloved family! What's for dinner! I hear Johnnys jolly voice ask. Then I feel tugging on my dress. I look confused around.
-Down here Grammy! I hear Dennis' little voice say. I smile and fumble around beside me. Dennis grabs my hand and puts it on his curly hair.
-There you are! Come here, I say and lift him up in my lap. He climbs out of my lap onto the chair beside me.
Then the waiter comes to take our order.
-Dennis, what do you want? Mavis asks after all of us adults ordered.
-I want what Grammy ordered! He says. I quickly find his head and stroke his cheek.
-Then we'll take two of those, I say.
When we're done eating, Drac grabs my hands.
-Y/N, I need to discuss something important with you, he says seriously. I become concerned.
-Alright? I say.
-You've been by my side for about 100 years now. And, we may be too old to get married... But I am asking you for your hand either way, he says confidently.
-Drac... I can't see, I argue.
-No... But I know you can feel it, Drac says, and tears begin resurfacing.
-Oh Drac... I'll stay with you for a million years, I say. Then I feel something slip onto my finger.
-Then it's sealed... Drac says and kisses my lips softly.
11 months later;
I'm standing and fiddling with the skirt of my dress.
-Dad... I'm scared, I say. My dads cane hits my foot and he grabs my shoulders.
-Y/N... even I, with the little eyesight I have left, can see that you are stunning, he says.
-You have to say that, you're my father, I say, and he hands me my cane.
-Well, that means it's even more true, he says. I take deep breath and nod.
-Alright... Alright, I'm ready, I say. Dad pats my shoulder, before he hooks my arm through his and walk out to the aisle.
I walk nervously, not seeing a thing except for some light hitting my eyes. Dad stops and so do I. I nervously sigh.
-What does he look like...? I whisper to my dad when we walk up onto the altar.
-He looks at you... and he looks very proud of you, he whispers back, before releasing my arm. I take my cane and gently tap Drac's feet.
-I'm here, I hear a whisper. I smile.
Blobby opens the ceremony and we say our vows.
-You may now kiss the bride! he says. Dracs hands cup my face and he places his lips on mine. I hear our friends and family cheering from beside us and I shyly pull away.
I feel a tug on my dress and I smile, knowing that it's Dennis. I pick him up and hold him in my arms, letting him sit on my hip.
-Are you happy now Grammy? Dennis asks. I giggle.
-Oh Dennis... I'm very happy, I say.
-Good, because the cake isn't decorated, but mom says that it's because you wanted it that way, and I just wanted to make sure, Dennis says and I laugh. I let him down and he runs away. I feel a hand on my waist.
-I wish you could see this... Drac says.
-I don't have to, I remind him.
-I can feel it.... I say.

The Exiled Villainess Returns
(Please heed the warnings above before reading) Reborn into the beautiful but deadly world of Ethetia, she comes to a sudden awareness that she is now Livia Katrina Valentine, a character of a game of a reverse harem she once played on Earth called Aster Academy: The Feuding Houses. But this revelation comes a bit too late. You see, Livia wasn't just anyone. She was not given the anonymity of being a background character, or even the blessing of being the heroine. Instead, she has bestowed the role of being the atrocious villainess. And that is exactly what she had been. As a result, Livia triggers her own death flag event at her debutante. Her memories of her past life have the grace to come only minutes before she is accused of poisoning the heroine, Amelia. But all is not helpless. Via last-minute intervention, Livia successfully manages to avoid having her head decapitated. Being exiled was a small price to pay for retaining a pulse. Plus, at least this way, Livia can finally start to live her life, to become more than just a cruel folly. Her exile should have been a new but unusual beginning to her story. But pitiless reality comes knocking. Ethetia had once only been a background setting in a game. A pretty and still picture that mostly went disregarded as the even prettier characters on the screen unloaded their dialogue, but now, it was Livia's world. As real and wonderous as planet Earth once had been, filled with small creatures with their own wills, ambitions, and needs. Such one creature decides that exile was not enough of a penalty. That Livia, the bullish and jealous tormentor of the heroine, deserves a fate more befitting of her past deeds. One worst than death. Livia's fate is ripped out of her hands. She is forced into a collar, sold to an empire rotten with greed, and placed inside a harem where she is expected to wither and die from the inside out. But Livia refuses to be forgotten. Burning with a deep rage against those who only wish to see her fall into her own grave, Livia makes a twisted promise to herself. A promise that pushes her through the darkest moments of her life and brings to light a newfound power rooted deep inside her. So keen to discard her as the villain she has once been, the little creatures in their own ignorance brought forth something they could never dream to fathom. A beacon of darkness.
