Y/N POV:
-And that's the last time I had an accident, I say to my therapist and wring my hands. She nods and write it down, before calmly placing her own and notebook down on the table in front of us.
-Ok... I see that there's a repetitive pattern here, a negative pattern, she says and takes of her glasses and puts them on the notebook. I nod expectantly.
-And... I think you need monster therapy, she says, and I panic.
-Monster th..... no! No, no, please no, I- I Can't handle another accident, I say panicked. She sighs and grabs my hands.
-You will be alright... I'll contact one of my friends down in Transylvania. There's a hotel for monsters and humans, and I can talk to the owner and book a room for you and my friend, she explains. I think the plan over.
-Is... your friend human? I ask. She smiles and nods.
-She is, she says. I take a deep breath.
-Ok... ok, I'll do it, I nod.
-Great! I'll e-mail you the details and your bill later, she smiles and and I smile nervously back.
Oh dear.... what did I get myself into...?
Two weeks later:
I've gotten off the plane to Transylvania's airport and I'm going to stay 2 weeks in the monster hotel. I'm walking out to the arrivals hall and I'm greeted with a sign with my name on it. The girls holding it is excitedly waving me over. I muster up my best smile and walk over to her.
-Hi! You're Y/N, right? She asks and shakes my hand violently.
-Yep! I say
-I'm Linda, nice to meet you! She says.
-Nice to meet you Linda! I say and we walk out to take a taxi.
-Are you excited? She asks. I shake my head to the sides.
-I'm more scared than anything, I say as we get into the car.
-No, don't worry, Count Dracula is the nicest vampire around! She says and the car starts moving.
Wait.......
A VAMPIRE!?!?
Flashback:
Im looking around my neighborhood for my dog, Lassy.
-Lassy? Lassy? Where are you boy? I say as I go around shaking a bag of dog candy. I hear a little whimper in a open backyard.
-Lassy? I ask as I walk into the backyard. There sits a boy, licking blood from my dog. I turn pale and drop the candy. The boy smiles sheepishly up at me and hold my dogs corpse up.

-I'm sorry... is this yours? He asks. I scream and run home. When I get home, I tell mom and dad what happened and then I fainted.
End of flashback
That's what I call an accident. Every time I see a monster, especially one with fangs or sharp teeth, ESPECIALLY vampires... I mumble incoherent words and then I just faint.
I wring my hands in my lap as a big fancy hotel rises before me. I start sweating a bit as the car stops and Linda takes my suitcase from the trunk. I get out and almost faint right then and there. Don't get me wrong, I am so happy that monsters are able to walk freely and live normal lives.... I'm just terrified of them?
-Linda... I say quietly, shaking a bit.
-Yeah? She asks.
-I can't do this.... I squeak.
-Oh, of course you can! C'mon! She says and drags me into the lobby of the hotel. Inside the hotel are humans and monsters alike. I try to not seem rude, at the same time that I'm trying to hold myself together and not have a panic attack.
-Drac! Oh Drac! Linda says loudly and waves her hand in the air. Oh no, oh please no no no!
A man comes to us and smiles.
-Linda, I'm so happy you and your guest are here! He says and smiles, showing off his fangs. I gulp as he looks down on me.
-My name is Count Dracula. And you are? He asks nicely and holds out her his hand. I only squeal in fear. He looks confused at me.
-Oh this one here is absolutely terrified, Linda says and grabs me around my shoulder.
-She's here in monster therapy, you see, she "whispers".
-Aahhh, I see! Well, I hope that my friends or me are able to give some help? Drac says and Linda laughs.
-Oh absolutely! Linda says. I wanna run from my skin and just.... not be here....
-Here is your key, if you want to get set up early, we can- thank you! I quickly grab the key and run towards the elevator and get to the floor on the key.
Third person POV:
Drac looks confused after the woman that just ran away. Linda laughs.
-Yeah, we have some work to do, she says and Drac faces her again.

Y/N POV
I pack up some stuff from my suitcase as Linda enters.
-I wasn't being too rude... was I? I ask nervously.
-No... it was good for a first try, Linda says happily. I smile and nod.
Ok... not so bad, not so bad.
The 1:st day:
Linda and I was going to spend the day with a monster called "Blobby".... which I quickly figured out why. He was nice, didn't talk clean English, but luckily, I could just about understand him. He was nice, nothing major.
The 2:nd day:
I think Linda jumped very deep into the water with this one... we were going to have dinner with the invisible man. He was basically just a pair of floating glasses. He was very nice, but the magician on stage made me almost throw up my dinner on the invisible man... embarrassing.
The 3:rd day:
Ok, too deep down, to deep down! Pull me back up! I was standing I front of big foot. He motioned with his toes as he spoke and I felt so sweaty and nervous that I just kinda walked away... not that he'd notice....
-Y/N, what was that? We were in the middle of a conversation! Linda walks after me.
-I'm sorry, I needed some air... I say and walk outside, Linda staying inside. I sigh as I look into the night sky.
-How am I ever going to do this? I ask myself.
The 4th day:
So because of yesterday's fiasco, we try again with the invisible man. I almost helped when we met again. We decided to have lunch outside instead... so we could avoid that magician.... it's me... I wanted to avoid the magician.
In the middle of the conversation, I stop him.
-I'm sorry, can you just... I say and bring out two glow stick bracelets. One red and one green.
-Could you put the red one on your right wrist and the green one on the other? I find it calming when I know what people are doing, I sigh.
-Oh, yeah, for sure, he says happily and puts them on and begins talking again. I calm down a bit when I see the bracelets.
-How do you know which hand and foot is which? I ask him when the conversation was over.
-Oh, Uhm.... lots of training? I mean, I've never really seen myself, so it's mostly just feeling and stuff. But I do know that I'm rocking a curly red head! He says and I laugh.
In the evening, me and Linda are going back to our room when I bump into someone. I stop and look up.... Dracula...
I freeze again, as he smiles.
-Hello Y/N and Linda! How're things going? He asks.
-Oh well, Y/N managed to make friends with the invisible man! It's off to a great start! Linda says. Dracula turns to me and my blood freezes cold.
-Is that so? He asks.
-Blublakukulolo, I say and black out.
Dracula's POV:
My eyes widen immensely as she falls into the floor.
-Oh, she said this might happen! Linda gushes and checks her breathing and her pulse.
-What... was that? I ask.
-She's terrified around monsters, and she doesn't want to come off as rude or unwelcoming, so she's on monster therapy... I guess you triggered her? Linda says and tries to lift her. I lift her easily.
-It was my wrong doing. I can carry her back for you, I say. Linda smiles and claps her hands and we walk back to their room.
I put Y/N down on her bed. She looks scared of me, even in her sleep. I sigh and remove some strand of hair from her mouth.
-Drac? Are you alright? Linda asks.
-Hmmm? Oh yeah, I'm fine, it's just... when do you think she won't be afraid of me? I ask sadly.
-You didn't do anything wrong... it's a traumatic experience that triggers it off... not you specifically, Linda reassures.
-I will leave you two for the evening. Good night Linda and Y/N, I smile as I walk out of the room and sigh as I continue my round.
Third person POV:
With just 10 days left, will Y/N be able to get over her fear and have an actual conversation with Dracula himself? And will Dracula muster up enough courage to tell Y/N that she doesn't need to feel ashamed, and maybe ask her why this was happening from the start?
We'll see in part 2!

Second Patriarch: Rise of the Liu Clan
After the death of his father, Liu Zhu must prevail over his older brother in order to become the Liu Clan's second patriarch and bring his family to glory within Yutian Country. In the process Liu Zhu will come across lucky chances, have brushes with death, and slowly expand his world beyond that of the small country he lives in. NOTE: Currently dropped for various reasons. The short version of why I dropped it is because even the shortest form of my outlining resulted in a main plot of at least 300 - 400 chapters and I messed up massively by directly adapting it from my first attempt at this, which was a choose your own adventure on another website. It did not make the jump well at all imo.

The Hunt
Cecily's blade swung, hitting its mark as always. The man's arm fell to the cold grass of the prison with a familiar thud. He let out a blood curdling scream. A warning to the rest. Stay away, the Hunter is here. That's the name they'd given her, the Hunter. After she cut off the man who tried to rape hers masculinity, they stayed away. She'd made it clear anyone who tried to touch her would be hunted and slaughtered. Cecily kneeled down, pushing the man's face into the dirt so she could use his back as a seat while she trifled through his belongings. "You're hurting my ears," she told him, no remorse in her voice. "Quiet down before I really do kill you."The man but his lip, well aware that she wasn't lying. Sobs shook him, making for an uncomfortable seat. She, however, didn't particularly feel the beed to kill him. It happened, not often, but it did. "Oh, hush up," she hissed, taking out a bag of rations with her metal hand, "it doesn't hurt that bad."With her good, human hand, she dropped the plastic bag of food into her own bag. She pushed up, off the man back. As she was about to walk away, bag slung over her shoulder, brushing against her autumn colored braid, she turned back to him. "Consider yourself lucky," she said, no hatred in her voice, there never was. "Consider yourself lucky that you didn't do anything stupid. And even luckier if one of the scum bagged criminals in here feel a little light in their hearts and help you. Consider yourself luckier if you die there."With that, her old black and white Nike sneakers carried her off into the brush of the huge prison.
