( this is set during the Disney movie)
Third person POV:
Clopin Trouillefou, the joker of Paris, the king of romani, always on the run and in search of money. He was known for entertaining people of all ages.
Y/N L/N, pretty much the most normal girl in Paris... Well, as normal as a dancing romani girl could be. Y/N was known around the streets of Paris for her amazing, self taught moves.
But under the streets of Paris, among the romani, they were know for being an arranged marriage since Y/N's birth. Clopin was maybe three years when his and Y/N's parents decided to arrange their futures for them.
And honestly, they both didn't like that plan. Not now either, though Clopin had begun teasing the poor girl for it. Y/N could be going about her day and Clopin would walk by and say:
-Good morning gorgeous! Counting the days till the wedding! Can't wait for you to be my queen!
Y/N would just scoff and walk away from him.
But little did they know that they both loved the way they acted towards each other. Clopin loved they way Y/N would roll her eyes and walk away as he teased her. Y/N loved that Clopin spend so much time and energy on her, even though she wouldn't admit it.
They were meant for each other, even their parents knew that..... but they didn't.
This particular day, is just a week before the arranged wedding. The romani were ecstatic and made the old court of miracles on the outskirts of Paris look absolutely perfect for the wedding. Not only that, but they made Clopin and Y/N work together. This day, Y/N was helping Clopin set up a puppeteer show for the kids.
-I can't believe you do this everyday, Y/N sighs and puts all the puppets the way Clopin instructed her to.
-Eh, it's a part of the job, Clopin smirks at her, and she rolls her eyes.
When they were done setting up, Y/N started playing the tambourine and Clopin started luring the kids closer to the caravan.
-Listen! They're beautiful, no? So many colors of sounds, so many changing moods, Clopin starts.
-Because you know, they don't ring all by themselves! He starts, and brings up a puppet. I giggle as Clopin tells the entrancing story of the hunchback of Notre dame. I sit down next to the kids and listen intensely, remembering how Clopin used to tell us this story when I was little. When they story stops, the kids applaud him, as do I. Clopin smiles at me and bows dramatically for me. I roll my eyes, but I also held back a smile of my own.
~Time skip Y/N POV~
-You're very good with kids, I compliment Clopin as we return to the court of miracles with his caravan.
-Thank you dear. Thinking about getting some? He says and I scoff.
-Keep on dreaming, I say and smile.
-Oh, I will, he says and wiggles his eyebrows.
I roll my eyes and walk away to the other ladies. They were helping me put together my outfit and performance for the Feast of Fools tomorrow. They quickly make me change behind a curtain and then start playing music for me to dance to.

I laugh as a small boy runs up to me and starts copying my dance. A bunch of other kids follow him and I grab their hands and hop around in a circle.
Clopin POV:
I smile as I hear the familiar tune of Y/N's dance routine. I walk to the open area and smile as Y/N dances with a young boy and his friends. I couldn't wait for this week to be over so she could be mine.
At the Feast of Fools, Y/N POV:
Esmeralda has just finished her dance and she's now helping Quasimodo, the bell ringer, off of the pedestal, where he had been spit on. I notice guards moving closer towards her and I look panicked around the crowd. Where was Clopin when you really needed him? I walk a couple of steps before I run into someone's chest. I look up and there he is. I quickly hug him.
-Hey! What's going on? He asks concerned. I point fearfully to the guards and I could almost hear him frowning.
-You don't need to be afraid, I will protect you, he says and puts an arm around my shoulder, as he notices some guards eyeing us from afar.
Esmeralda puts on a real show and gets rid of the guards, and knocks Frollo of his high horse.
The sky becomes dark gray and guards begin shooting people away and into their houses. Clopin leads me away and into his changing tent.
-Are you alright? He asks and I nod and smile slightly. I start hearing the pitter patter on the roof of the tent. Clopin sighs and sits down on the ground in front of me. He puts his hand on my cheek and I giggle as a tear falls.
-This makes me almost wish for the wedding, I sniffle. Clopin smiles and hugs me.
-Soon... he says and I lean into his embrace. It doesn't matter how much I tried to hate him; he was always there when I needed it.
~Even later~
Clopin almost hung Quasimodo and Phoebus, but lucky enough, Esmeralda stopped them.
-Frollo is on his way! He will be here at dawn and attack with a thousand men! Phoebus announces. Clopin looks at me from the stage and I look over, terrified. I run to my tent and begin packing the small things in a small bag to run away. Suddenly I can hear my name being yelled out by a familiar voice.
-You let me go! I hear and gasp. Clopin! I take my bag and run outside of my tent... which I notice quickly was a big mistake. The guards notice me and run after me.
-Clopin! I yell as the guards try to catch me and I try to dodge them as good as possible. But suddenly one of the grabs me, making drop my bag, and restrains me.
-Clopin! I let out a ear piercing scream.
-Y/N! he shouts backs and tries to fight off the guards, but fails. The guard puts us in different cage like carriages and drives us away.
I look around. I'm scared.... I'm absolutely terrified... I don't know what's going to happen. Maybe we'll get beheaded? Probably killed... And I didn't even get to marry Clopin... or tell him I loved him... I was planning on saving that for our vows, but now... there won't even be any vows. I sit down as we halt to a stop and I feel tears start falling from my eyes and I whimper as the people around us protests and shouts for Frollo to stop burning Esmeralda. This really is the end, isn't it....?

Suddenly I hear someone yelling over the crowd.
-Sanctuary! Sanctuary! I quickly scramble to my feet and look at the Notre Dame. I see Quasimodo, and he's saved Esmeralda. I laugh in disbelief, but my tears are still flowing freely down my cheeks. I see Frollo day something to some of his men, and suddenly a beam get thrown out from the cathedral, and it breaks Frollos cart and his horses run away. His guards run too.
-Come back you fools! He shouts and walks up to a guard.
-You men, pick up that beam and ram the door! He says and grabs a sword. A lot of guards around us run up to the door to try to break it.
Suddenly I hear someone talk to the people from beside me.
-Citizens of Paris! It's Phoebus!
-Frollo has prosecuted our people and ransacked our city! He says, making people yell more angrily than before. I start to shake the bars of the carriage.
-Now he has declared war on Notre dame herself! He says and people begins pushing the guards around.
-Will we allow it!? He asks. I shout back as loudly as I can:
-No!
The masses shove through the guards grips and they break the locks of all the cages we are trapped in. I'm at the back of the carriage, so I am the last one to get out. Standing there to catch me is Clopin. I jump into his arms and he hugs me tightly. I quickly pull away and push his lips on mine. We pull away at last and we look into each other's eyes.
-I have to go my love, Clopin says and puts a hand on my cheek.
-Promise me you'll come back, I say as someone gives him a weapon. He smiles softly.
-You know I can't promise that, he says sadly, and more tears fall.
-Ok... but just... promise me, ok? I say. Clopin smiles sadly. I quickly peck his lips one last time.
-Be safe, I say. Clopin smiles and runs straight into the battle, as I lead the people away from the streets. Women guide us into their homes. I nod gratefully as we clam into the houses. We hear ruckus all night, until......
It's quiet.... there is absolutely nothing making a sound right now... I look out the window and notice that the sun is up. I cautiously walk outside and let everyone out. I walk around people and towards Notre dame. People look around anxiously, and so was I.
-Clopin? Clopin! I shout, trying to make myself heard. Suddenly I collide into someone...
-Clopin! I say and jump onto him. He catches me and holds me close.
-Don't ever leave like that again! I cry and he hugs me even closer, if that was even possible.
-I promise... I promise you... he whispers into my hair. We stand there for a while, the other romani quickly gathering around us. When we let go we smile at each other. Esmeralda come through the crowd and smiles at us.
-Are you ready for that wedding...? She asks her brother. Clopin looks at her, then back at me... and nods.
-I think we are... he says.
5 days later, at the outskirts of Paris, third person POV:
Many of the people of Paris gathered in the old court of miracles. All of the romani and their new friends and family. Even Esmeralda and Phoebus came, along with Quasimodo.
Clopin is standing at the front of the altar, a newly washed and cleaned suit on.
Y/N is getting ready in a make-shift tent outside of the court. She was wearing a long white gown and in her hand was a bouquet of purple and yellow flowers, matching Clopins suit.
-Are you ready? Y/N hears from behind her. She turns around and Esmeralda stands there. Y/N smiles, and nods.
Since it was only January, the grass had barely recovered from the winters cold. But the area was green, none the less. Y/N walks down the middle row, in between the paris people. Clopin almost sheds a tear as he watches her walk down the aisle. She arrives at the altar and then they are there... standing alone, with the arch deacon.
He goes through everything he needs to say.
-The couple has prepared their own vows, he says. Clopin sighs.
-Y/N... I have to admit, that the first time I saw you, when I was 3, I didn't like you one bit... Clopin says and people chuckles lightly.
-But... you weren't as bad as I thought and... well... do I even need to say more? He asks and looks around. Y/N giggles.
-Clopin... I have thought about this moment for many years. I've spent 12 years rehearsing this here vow, I giggle and people laugh. Clopin chuckles and smiles warmly.
-But... I never hated you. I've always loved you, and the way you put so much time in trying to impress me... it makes me feel loved, I say and I can see tears build up in Clopins eyes.
-I've always loved you... no matter how many times I told you otherwise... I do, Y/N says. A tear slips down Clopins cheek and he sniffles happily.
-Clopin Trouillefou, do you take Y/N L/N as your lawfully wedded wife? The archdeacon asks.
-I do, he whispers.
-And Y/N, do you take Clopin to be your lawfully wedded husband? The archdeacon asks. Y/N nods firmly.
-I do, she says confidently.
-Then with the power invested by me, I now pronounce you; Husband and wife! You may now kiss the bride, the archdeacon finishes and Clopin quickly pulls Y/N towards him and kisses her roughly. Y/N giggles into the kiss, but kisses back just as roughly. When they part, they look at each other.
-You got your queen... what's the plan now? Y/N asks. Clopin smirks.
-Well, I might have a little something in mind, he teases, before Y/N rolls her eyes and push their lips back together.
They really were meant for each other....

Sara's (not really) Fabulous System Armageddon, Book I: The World Ended at Rush Hour
Planet Earth, Monday, October 7th, 2019. 18:30 * * On a fateful day, during rush hour in eastern North America, Heavens and Hell crumbled and fell from their higher dimension on Earth. It came from "above" but not the same above we regard in our tridimensional Euclidean reasoning. No, it came from "above" as in from a higher dimension. Bits and pieces of those places fell on Earth from all directions, this time in tridimensional Euclidean space. Satellites, the ISS, and space debris all were wiped clean from orbit. Even those that didn't crash with the falling debris were knocked off orbit by the shockwaves. On the ground, power distribution lines were disrupted and most power facilities were left abandoned by their dead staff. Most of these had emergency shutdown routines that engaged in a few days. Some others had a survivor among their staff that followed protocol and activated their SCRAM switches, stopping the power plant. Long-distance communication disappeared the internet along with it. The world was plunged into technological darkness. Nine hundred and ninety-nine out of every thousand human beings perished immediately in the pulse of magical energy from the torn spatial boundary. Spirits were rent asunder and vanished, their fate neither salvation nor damnation, only oblivion. The criteria used for this culling was latent magic potential. It didn't discriminate against education, gender, age, or ethnic group. But of the around seven million survivors, most would meet their doom moments later. Those on moving vehicles, like the ones driving on highways suddenly had to contend with high-speed uncontrolled cars and trucks driven by corpses. Trapped in their vehicles and helpless, they became part of the long snake of crushed metal. Very few survived. Those in the air or out in the sea were alone and probably unable to control their rides. Airplanes crashed, and ships kept their course or drifted away, depending on their autopilot. Several ended their own lives in utter despair after seeing their loved ones die in front of them. Another large group would die at the hands of other survivors. Violence and aggression became the norm. Only a few sparse pockets of not-so-sane survivors managed to band together and cooperate for the sake of mutual survival. The sole survivor in a five-over-one apartment building in Georgia, a girl became the keystone to humanity's survival. Sara's fabulous System Apocalypse had just started. She has only one remark. It was anything but fabulous. * * Updates every Wednesday and Sunday.
