Y/N POV
The next two days were spent shopping kids clothes and food supplies. Also, maybe some fun stuff since we're gonna spend half a term in this house.
Right now I'm just staring at the baby that I put in the baby high chair. I keep looking back and forth between the clock and the baby.
-Stop staring at it like that, it's creeping me out, Uma says and takes a seat next to me. I smile apologetically.
-Sorry... I'm just anxious, I guess, I say and look at the time again. 11:48.
-Why? It's just a robot baby, Uma says and pokes the baby's cheek. I chuckle.
-Yeah. That you and I need to raise for half a term, I remind her.
-Eh. How hard could it be? Just give it some food and it'll be fine, Uma says and shrugs. I shake my head.
-It's not just the food. We need to change diapers, teach it words and make sure it doesn't get hurt, I say and look at the clock again. 11:49....
-Yeah yeah. It's gonna be fine... besides, you have two stable parents, don't you? Just do what they did, she says and walks to the fridge and grabs a water bottle. I furrow my brows.
-Wha- I quickly get interrupted my a squeal and baby laughter. I turn to the baby and see it open it's eyes. I grab it in my arms and smile.
-Hi baby! Hi! I say in a baby voice as I rock the baby slightly. I turn back to look at Uma, who only looks mildly amused. I turn back to the baby.
-I'm your mommy. That girl over there is your other mama, I continue. I hear her scoff before she walks out of the kitchen. The baby gurgles and reaches out for the girl that rushed out.
-Don't worry, mama is a bit grumpy today, I whisper to not let her hear me.
The next twelve hours went smoothly... except we realized that we bought the wrong sized diapers and needed to go to the store again and buy new ones. I keep the baby in the hanging thing on my front, as I push the stroller in front of me.
-What do you need the stroller for? You're carrying the baby, Uma says as she looks at the different pictures of happy babies on the diaper packaging. I spot the correct size.
-Here, hold him, I say. She frowns. She always calls the baby "it". She usually walks away when I ask if she wants to hold him. Now, she doesn't have a choice... I mean, she couldn't be as heartless as she would drop a baby in a supermarket. I take the baby out of its "socket" and places it in her hands. She just looks at me and holding the baby uncomfortably. I turn around and grab two big packs of the right size. I can hear the baby clap and giggle as she holds it out from her body and makes it jump a little. I giggle as I put the diapers in the cart. As fast as I look up, Uma holds the baby against her chest and jumps the baby slightly. I smile slightly.

-Awwww Uma... I say. Uma looks at me.
-What? She asks.
-You're actually holding him... I say. She smiles and looks down at the baby.
-I would really need a camera right now, I say. she chuckles and pokes his cheek.
-I can take him if you don't want to, I say and hold out my arms. Uma backs away slightly.
-Nah... the little guy is growing on me, she says with a baby voice. She quickly realizes what she did and looks shocked at me.
-Don't tell anyone about that, she says and points at me. I nod and we move towards the cash register.
Well at the car, we pack the stuff into the tru I and I decide to drive, Uma sitting beside me.
-You know, I still want you to name him, I say as I pull out of the parking lot. Uma looks at me and then back at the baby. I look at her and she looks back at me.
-James is a good name, right? She asks unsure. I nod and look back into the road.
-It's a great name, I confirm.
Two weeks later:
I'm sitting in the sofa with little James sleeping in my arms. Uma comes in with her comfy clothes and plops down next to me.
-What are we watching tonight sweet cheeks? She asks and grabs the remote. Uma had picked up a habit to giving me nicknames.
-I don't know, you can choose. As long as you turn down the volume. James is sleeping, I say quietly. Uma smiles down at the little baby. She pets his cheek with her finger.
-Can't you just put him to bed? She asks, and I look up at her.
-Why? I don't wanna let him go yet, I joke, hugging James a bit tighter. Uma lowers her voice, so the baby doesn't hear... oh right, I forgot to mention, the baby is recording everything it sees and hears... fun... not.
-Can't we have a little alone time? She whispers in my ear, making me go red.
-Alone time? I whisper back. She nods and smirks at me.
-What is that suppose to mean? I ask, but Uma quickly hushes me and points at little baby James. I sigh and she turns on the tv and lowers the volume. I decide that I'm more curious to what Uma means with alone time, than holding James, so I walk up the stairs and put him in his little crib, and I tuck him in.
-Goodnight Jamesy. Sleep tight, I whisper and kisses his forehead. Yes, I know he's not real, but it's fun to pretend (and get a good grade).
I get back down the stairs and sit down in the sofa again. Uma looks at me and turns up the volume on the tv a bit. The news are playing and she puts away the remote. Then she leans towards me, taking me by surprise.
-What're you doing...? I ask. She just stares intensely at my face and then into my eyes.

-What were you hoping to get from this...? She asks suddenly.
-Excuse me? I ask, my cheeks once again becoming red.
-A friend? A lover? A picture perfect family? She continue asking.
-What are you talking about Uma? I ask. She leans back and look at the television.
-Nevermind..., she says. I grab the remote and quickly turn the tv off.
-No. don't do that. Don't "nevermind" me, I say sternly. Uma whips her face making some of her braids whip in her face.
-What's the meaning of this? I ask. Uma sighs and looks up at the ceiling.
-I was just asking what you wanted to get out of this, she explains.
-Ok, first question, what "this"? I ask. Uma looks at me.
-This, she says and points between us. This takes me aback.
-I... I don't know Uma... I say and for the first time in ages, I feel speechless... kinda like dad the first time he met mom.
-What I'm asking... is if you like me? She says and stares into my eyes again.
-Uma, I- Stop saying my name like that! She interrupts me. I look shocked at her.
-...Like what...? I ask into the silence.
-Like that. Like I'm the love of your life, like I'm some sort of priceless jewel! It's making me go crazy, because I can't help to love you when you say my name like that! She confesses. I stare shocked at her. I almost start saying her name again, but I hesitate.
-Because that's what you feel like to me... I whisper and she continues to stare at me, but less intensely.
-You're so pretty and up till this project, I didn't know anything about you. And now that I do, I don't want to stop getting to know you, ok? I say. She doesn't say anything.
-Just say something! I ask desperately. But she doesn't answer now either. Instead, she grabs the collar of my shirt and press my lips to hers. It takes me a couple of millisecond to figure out what was happening. So I close my eyes and kiss back. She puts another hand at the back of my head and I put a hand on her cheek. We pull apart and she smiles, a huge, actual smile.
-So I guess that we're a real couple now..? I ask shyly, making Uma giggle.
-I guess we are, she says and kisses me shortly again, before pulling me into her embrace. We turn the tv back on and I cuddle into her side as we watch the latest news in Auradon.
Three weeks later:
We're a bit more than a month into this project, and lately, Uma has been ticked off.
I just put James in his high chair in the kitchen when I hear Uma walk through the front door.
-Stay here sweetie, mommy will be right back, I say to him and walk into the hallway.
-Where have you been? I ask. Uma looks at me and frowns.
-Why do you care? She asks. It takes me by surprise that she uses that attitude.
-Why I care? Maybe because we have a baby to raise? I say. Uma scoffs. I decide to counter again.
-Maybe because I care about my girlfriends whereabouts? I ask. She scoffs even louder.
-Yeah sure. We never declared it official. Besides, how do I know that you really want us to happen? She asks as she hangs up her jacket and hat.
-Maybe because we had a full blown confession three weeks ago! I remind her. She scoffs again and walks into the living room and sits down in the sofa. She turns on the tv. I feel myself begin to tear up.
-Fine, you know what? You take care of the rest of it today, because I've had it! I say and she looks confused at me.
-I've given James a bath today. I've cooked breakfast, lunch and dinner for the past week. But you're not even home when I do. All you do is come home, eat, and then leave again. You're leaving me to do everything here! I say as a tear falls out of my eye.
-You're not present. James almost said his first word yesterday, and you weren't even there to witness it! It hurts, ok Uma? It really hurts that you, three weeks ago declared your love for me, and now... I don't even know what you're doing now, I say and dry some tears on my chin. Uma is still just looking at me.
-What? You changed your mind? You wanna help cleaning the dishes? Too late! I've already done all that! I scream. She almost jumps as I raise my voice. I begin aggressively take off the apron around my waist and I toss it at her.
-I'm done! I'm done with this and I'm done with you! I shout and sob as I run up the stairs to my bedroom.
Uma POV:
I grab the apron that landed behind the couch and I hear a door slamming. And then I hear crying from the kitchen. James! I run into the kitchen and there he is. In his high chair, bawling his eyes out. He takes a look at me and cries:
-Momma! My eyes widen. It was like a mashup of mommy and mama... me and Y/N...
I sigh and feel my own eyes becoming teary eyed. I walk to him and pick him up and cradle him.
-I know baby, I'm sorry... I say and just rock him back and forth as he keeps on crying. His tears makes me feel more vulnerable, so I shed some of my own tears.

A Simple Bar In The Multiverse
I'm Lucas, 30 years old and single. I went to drink with some friends that day and when I was walking home, I found some weird glowing door on a wall on which I've never seen anything before. I'm a bit ashamed to say that I instantly tried to open it. Behind it was that weird silver light which I also touched with my bare hand. Don't judge me! I was very drunk. It has nothing to do with my intelligence... Anyway, I seemed to have been transported in a magical room and an invisible female entity has just just given me an offer: Turn this bar into the best bar in the universe where you'll work forever. In exchange I would get great powers with great responsab... Wait! That's spiderman. Anyway, great powers and unlimited lifespan. I think I'll say yes... Follow the story of Lucas, the manager of the Simple Bar, while he turns this seemingly innocuous bar into one that becomes known in the entire Multiverse. Or at least in a big part of it. I mean, the Multiverse is virtually infinite, so... A part of the story will take place in the Divine Realm of the Wanderer's Realms from my first novel 'The Life of a Goddess and a Fox in the Cultivation World '. I will post 1 chapter every week at 7 p.m. EST on Saturday.

Shakespeare's 154 Sonnets (Completed )
Shakespeare's Sonnets is the title of a collection of 154 sonnets by William Shakespeare, which covers themes such as the passage of time, love, beauty and mortality. The first 126 sonnets are addressed to a young man; the last 28 to a woman. The sonnets are almost all constructed from three quatrains, which are four-line stanzas, and a final couplet composed in iambic pentameter. This is also the meter used extensively in Shakespeare's plays. The rhyme scheme is abab cdcd efef gg. Sonnets using this scheme are known as Shakespearean sonnets. Often, the beginning of the third quatrain marks the volta ("turn"), or the line in which the mood of the poem shifts, and the poet expresses a revelation or epiphany.
