Y/N POV

I thought it was a great idea that we taught the villain kids the same thing they teach us others.... but this? This was the worst idea that the fairy godmother could've ever come up with...

Hi, I'm Y/N. I'm the daughter of Hercules and Megara, and a demigod. Or a... half demi god? If that makes sense? I was more than thrilled to have villian kids here in Auradon. Maybe they weren't gonna be as annoying as some others here. And as you speak of the devil...

-What!? No! I don't want to raise a fake baby with a villian kid! Chad shouts into the classroom. Sometimes I wonder how he even got in here...

-Mr. Charming, I suggest you sit down before I throw you out, fairy godmother says, making everyone snicker at him. Chad sits down and mumbles angrily. Don't get me wrong, I hate his guts, but this project was going to take a lot of work.

-Can we choose our own partners? Dizzy asks from the back of the class.

-I'm afraid that I have already picked your partners, fairy godmother answers, making some people groan.

-See it as a learning experience kids! You might get another friend to invite to a party! She then follows up with and everyone groans at her choice of words. She giggles lightly as she grabs the paper on the desk, probably with the names on it.

-So, let's start easy, shall we? She asks.

Oh boy.....

-Y/N and Uma, at this table! Fairy godmother shouts and points at a table with two seats. I immediately stand up and walk to the table. I look for Uma, who conveniently sits just two rows back from me, to the left. Yeah, I know where she sits... it's my job to keep an eye on the queer kids in school. How do I know she's queer? I mean, just look at her. Long braids, the 'I could kill you right on that spot' look she gives Chad, and she only looks at girls when they walk past, not boys.

And I may also have a tiny, winy crush on her... But I'm my mommas daughter and I will not let her down! Studies first, then you have time for other things!

Uma looks at fairy godmother and then to me. It almost looks like she's smirking at me.

-Uma, today please, fairy godmother interrupts her own yelling. Uma sighs and stands up and walks to beside me. Then she just stands there. I try hopping with the chair a bit to the left, to give her some space. She nods and drops onto the chair. Oh, another thing... She man spreads wider than Jay....

As fairy godmother is done shouting the groups aloud, she passes out fake, magical babies for every group. Uma quickly grabs a baby with light brown skin.

-Hey, That was supposed to be ours, Chad says from behind us as he is paired with scars daughter, who looked like she couldn't care less. Uma smirks.

-It looks more like us, she says and holds up the baby between us before turning back. I try not to giggle and turn back myself. I noticed how many of the make-shift couples were of the same gender... maybe because, oh I don't know, this term all the way to easter we're gonna live together in houses and take care of this magical robotic child as well as do certain homework from our teachers? And they don't want any funny business? If only they knew how many of these students were queer...

-You now have the rest of this weeks lessons to plan this half term and plan your economics before next week, when you'll all be transferred to your neighborhood, Fairy godmother smiles and sits down behind the desk. I grab my pencils, highlighters and my notebook from my bag and place them on the table.

-So...,I say and sigh.

-Economics? I say and smile lightly. Uma smiles back.

-Ugh... weekly or monthly? Uma asks. No matter how well she tried to hide it, she was smart and clever.

-Lets start with weekly, I say as we try lining up all the things we'd need to spend money on.

The next week:

Here we are. The starting week of this assignment; the baby project. We stand in couples and queue to the buses that'll take us to our respective neighbors hoods and houses. I take a look into the queue to see if any of my friends will be my neighbors. Some yes, others, no. Uma looks weirdly at the baby, as she notices fairies standing at the front of the buses and "activating" the babies.

-What's wrong? I ask her. She looks at me and then points to the baby.

-How does this magic thing work? It's a doll? That they sprinkle some magic on and it activates in exactly 48 hours? Uma asks. I nod.

-Yep. That's basically it, I confirm and smile as we get onto the bus.

-Uma and Y/N, right? The fairy asks. I nod and Uma cautiously hands over the baby to her. She sprinkles some "magic dust" on the baby and looks at her watch.

-At 11:50 in two days, you're gonna hear the baby's first cry or laugh, she smiles and hands Uma the doll. Uma looks at me confused and walks onto the bus. I giggle and follow her. She walks inside and scouts for seats. She notices some in the middle of the bus and walks there. I just follow her and run into her as she stops. She turns around and gestures to the seat by the window.

-Ladies first, she says. I smile at her and take off my bag from my shoulder and hop into the window seat. She plops down onto the other seat and looks at the baby.

-Do we even know if it's a boy or a girl? She asks.

-Not until we change their first diaper, no, I say and bring up my phone and a pair of earphones. I give one of them to her and she stares at me. I smile as I put mine in my ear and put on the world top list. She follows and starts bopping her head to the music.

The bus starts it's engine and we take off.

Uma POV:

At a point in the middle of the 4 hour bus drive, Y/N had taken the baby hostage and fell asleep. She breathes softy as her head rests against the window. I look down at the familiar pride patch on her bag and smile. I always had that as a pinch of hope for our fu- I mean, her future. Suddenly Y/N stirs and sits up and smiles tiredly at me. She looks at the baby and jokingly treats it as a baby. I smile lightly and watch as the neighborhoods name on a sign fly past.

Y/N POV

The bus stops and I grab the baby and try to take all the bags.

-I can take those, Uma says and grabs my suitcase and puts my hand bag on the shoulder. I smile and walk over to the person with all the house keys.

-Um, Uma and Y/N? I say and try to keep my backpack on my one shoulder and the baby on the other.

-Yep, just a moment ma'am, they say and look through the many envelopes in their hands.

-Yes, here it is! Number 409! They say and hand me they envelope with mine and Umas name written on it. I smile at them and walk back to Uma.

-We got number 409, I say.

-409... 409, Uma mutters as she looks around. Then she lights up and points to a green house.

-There it is! She says and begins walking there. I quickly follow her. When we get to the door, she let me step forward and unlock the door. We take a step in and look at the house.

-Maybe this wont be so bad after all! Uma says and drops the bags as she runs up the stairs.

-Yeah... maybe it won't, I smile and put away the baby.
