Y/N POV
I didn't know if anyone was following me. I just know that I'm standing with only a hospital gown, afraid in an unfamiliar town. I know that Is should be scared if the people, but I couldn't help but to look around. I saw big vans round a corner and I run into the closest building. Something clinks over my head and I cower behind the shelves. I run around until I see a woman sitting at a desk. She looks like she could help me. Almost completely naked and scared out of my mind, I run up to her. She looks shocked at me.
-Hello? Can I help you sweetie? She asks. I swallow the words as I look outside to see the people searching for me. I look back at her.
-Are you alright? She asks worriedly. I shake my head and look cautiously around.
-Bad men.... I can force out of my dry throat. The words come out sore from the running I did.
-What..? She asks in belief. I look sternly back at her and try to make her understand.
-Bad... men... I say and I hear the bell chime again. She looks towards the door and quickly mentions for me to hide behind the desk. But there is no time. So I felt my bones crack and my muscles pull as I a second later look at my elderly and gnarly hands. The woman looks shocked at me. With the white hospital like gown, I would look like I escaped from the hospital as an old man. She only looks shocked at me. I can see from the corner of my eye, the bad men runs around every aisle looking for me. They begin approaching us and I quietly beg her to help me. As the men come closer, she stands up and grabs my hand.
-Oh, dear... dear grandpa, you need to stop running from the hospital! She acts. The men stop only a few meters away from us.
I pretend to nod dazedly. She nods firmly back and turns me to the exit doors.

-I'm sorry gentlemen! There'll be someone to come and help you shortly, she says and smiles hurriedly before guiding me outside. She grabs a pair of keys and suddenly the big vehicle blinks and she opens the door. I look at her and she smiles carefully.
-C'mon grandpa... let's go home, she says, emphasizing the word home. I climb inside and look around. The seat is warm against my bare legs. The woman opens the front door and sits herself in the front seat and turns the engine on. She backs the vehicle, startling me, so I grip the seat in front of me, before she starts driving forward.
-I'm Joyce... she suddenly says and looks at me through a small mirror in the front. When I don't answer, she speaks again.
-My name... Is Joyce. Joyce Byers, she explains slowly. It takes me a while to process what she said, but I nod.
-What's your name? She asks.
-M-my name... I say, throat raspy. She nods at me to continue.
-Mmmmy na-a-ame is.... 8.... I say. She nods.
-8.... ok... She nods and looks around the road and turns the vehicle.
-Is it ok if I call you... Y/N? She asks.
-Y/N...? I ask and smile slightly as my bones turn back and I feel the familiarity of my own body and muscles and height.
-Yeah... you like that name? She asks and smiles slightly.
-Y/N... I... Like that's-at nammme, I say, copying her. She nods as the vehicle stops and she gets out. I feel myself look as she walks around to my door. She opens it and looks around. I hop out of the car and wince as my feet hit a hard surface. A cold wind blows by and the hairs on my legs and arms stand up and I feel... frozen.
-Poor child... you must be freezing. C'mon, let's get you warm and cozy, alright? She asks and grab my shoulders and leads me slightly towards the building.
-Warm... I say.
-Yeah, warm, she says and looks at me up and down.
-And lets get you some clothes too, Alright? She says and takes out another key and open the door. When I look inside, there is no men in weird coats or machinery... No... harmful things. I carefully step inside. I want to see if she really is helping me or is trying to catch me. I walk into a room with a big, soft, chair like thing. I walk over to it and sit down. I bounce lightly and smile as it bounces with me. Joyce smiles at me and closes the door, turning the lock. She walks inside as I continue to bounce on the plush surface. Suddenly she stands in front of me. She holds a pile of cloths. She puts them beside me and I lift up the top cloth. It's pink and looks like a very long shirt. It has a pattern with slightly darker pink spots on it.

-I see you like the sofa? She says and I look to her.
-Yes. This is a sofa, Joyce says and pats the space next to me.
-I like.... I say and struggle with my words. My throat begun to tickle.
-The so-sofa, I push out before I start coughing.
Joyce runs into the room next to me and grabs a glass and fills it with water. She sits next to me and hand me the glass. I eagerly pour the water down my throat and swallow it. It quickly soothes the burning feeling. Joyce smiles and takes the glass from me.
-Come. You can change in my room, she says and shows me down a hallway. I look cautiously into the room she opens. But I realize fast that she isn't trying to hurt me. She smiles and closes the door. I quickly drop the clothes and hit my first onto the hard wooden door and panic strikes me. Joyce quickly opens the door and sees my panicked face.
-Ok.... no closed doors, she says and smiles reassuringly at me. She closes the door, but leaving a slight gap between the door and the wall.
I sigh and take up the clothes from the floor. I put on all the things she gave me. The pink garment turned out to be a dress. She gave me something weird to put under it... well, I assume it's supposed to be under the dress, since it looked weird on top of it. It looked like a very small shirt, but a bit to tight. But it felt alright. And under the dress, I also wear a pair of stretchy pants. I sit down at the bed, that is much softer than what I'm used to. I look around as I hear Joyce silently talking outside by the other rooms. I see that she has a pair of doors by the wall in her room. Why does she have another room in her room? I walk towards the doors and inside is a big bunch of clothes. I touch the arms of one of her shirts. It's grey and very very soft. I look towards the door to see if she's there... But the coast is clear. I quickly pull the garment off the hanger and put it on. It is very big and hangs off my one shoulder. Suddenly the door opens with a creak and I turn around. Joyce looks at me confused.
-I... Was l-looking. S-ssssorry, I say. She smiles.
-It's Alright. It matches with the dress, she smiles. I try to smile back. She walks across the room towards a machine and presses a button. Suddenly, it starts playing... some type of music.
-You can stay here for a while. I got a.... friend coming over, and I want you to meet him, she smiles.
-But why don't you stay in here and I'll come and get you in a bit, Alright? She asks. I nod and she walks out of the room and leaves the door as before. I sit down on the bed again and listen to the music. I remember that the evil man had tried using music to rehabilitate my powers. The music I didn't mind... But what he made those other evil men do....
