Ruffnut POV

I've been reading every book and talked to every elder on this forsaken island, and no one knows that name. Y/N. There was no Y/N on Berk, not even a dragon! I don't know if I'll ever know them!

I was walking with Tuffnut. We didn't have a destination, we're just walking through the woods and hitting stuff with sticks.

-Hey Tuffnut, I said.

-Yeah? He answered.

-Do you think I'll ever find my soulmate? I asked. He turned towards me.

-What're you talking about? Of course you will! He said and shrugged. I looked down at the ground.

-I sure don't feel like it... I sighed.

-Hey, look, just because you haven't found him yet, doesn't mean you ever will! He said. I could only nod. Still didn't believe him.

That was 6 years ago... Now I'm stuck in a cell with a baby dragon beside me, and a long faced bastard on the other side of the bars. I trace the name on my wrist and try to keep calm and figure out a way to get out.

I'm leaning into a corner when I hear a young voice scream.

-Let me go! Let me see my dragon! Let me see my dragon! She shouts at the bulky men. They laugh and throw her into the cell beside mine. She has (hair length) h/c hair that stands in every possible direction. She sits on her knees and glares at the men, that laughs at her. She growls and punches the wall. Then she begins crying.... I don't know what to do... What can I do? I-I... I have to talk to her! But what if I make it awkward?

I push all those thoughts away and crawl to the bars that separates us.

-Hey, you-you ok? I ask. She looks up at me and her e/c eyes pull at my heart strings and make my heart thump 1 000 miles per hour.

-Not really... She mumbles. I can't help but feel a magnetic pull towards her.

-You wanna talk about it? I ask and smile. Stop smiling! This is a serious situation!

-They killed my dragon... she whispers.

-Oh... I'm sorry, I say and smile sadly at her.

-It wasn't your fault... I was just picking some flowers at home and they came and-and they took us and-and-and! she says and begins sobbing.

-They took out a sword, and killed her! They killed my dragon! she cries and puts her head in her hands. I try to reach out to her through the bars, but of course I can't reach her.

-Hey, hey, it's ok... I try to calm her.

-I just want to go home, she cries. I sigh. I've never felt this hopeless... wait... maybe I'm not! Haha! I'm a genius!

-Hey... I say to her. She looks at me and sniffles.

-I'm gonna get us out of here, I promise. She looks weirdly at me.

-How? She asks. I smirk and stand up, stretching a bit doing so.

-Just, cover your ears, this might get annoying, I say and walk up to the bars towards the grey haired idiot.

-Hey you! I start. This is gonna be good.

I ramble and ramble and ramble. I'm surprised that the girls' ears hasn't fallen off yet.

-Alright! Alright! I've had enough already! Just leave! He says and opens the door. I only lean on the back wall. He motions for me to get out. I only shake my head and check my nails.

-I ain't going without her... I say and point to the girl.

-Why not? Are you best friends now? C'mon and get out! He says. I shake my head again.

-No can do. She's cute! I can't just leave her on her own with you, I smirk. I can see the girl looking very amused at the scene from the other cell. The man growls.

-Alright! Just leave! He says and opens the other girls' cell. I walk out and meet her. She smiles at me... And it was magnificent....

The little dragon hops out of the cell after me. I bow.

-After you, m'lady, I say in a fake posh accent. She giggles and sits down on the dragon. I sit down in front of her and laugh at the man and we take off. Her hands fly around my waist. I smirk and fly away.

-Hey... fly right... she says.

-What? I ask.

-The trappers are following us... fly. Right, she says sternly. I nod and make a sharp turn.

She helps me loose the trappers before we finally reach new Berk. We arrive and I jump off the dragon.

-I'm back! Missed me? I shout at my friends. They all turn around and spot me.

-Ruffnut!? They all ask.

-How did you escape? Snotlout asks.

-They let me go! I say and throw off my helmet off of my head.

-Did they follow you!? Hiccup asks shakily.

-No. and I had this cute jelly bean to thank for it! I say and point to the girl. She's climbing of the dragon and letting it run away.

-Who's that? Tuffnut asks.

-She's hot, Snotlout says and wiggles his eyebrows. I roll my eyes and walk towards him.

-Back off, I say and push his face.

-I really have to thank you from getting me out of there... the girl says from behind me. I turn around and smile at her.

-Anytime, sugar pie, I answer and she shakes her head, giggling. Then we lock eyes.

-How can I ever repay you? She asks. I look around smirking before looking back at her.

-You can start by giving me your name, I flirt openly. She smiles.

-Y/N, she says. I can feel my heart skip a beat at the name.

-Y-Y/N...? I ask.

-Yeah? She asks. I quickly pull down my sleeve and show her the name on my wrist.

-Y/N... I breathe. She gasps.

-Y-You're Ruffnut? She asks happily. I nod and smile brightly.

-Yeah... Yeah! That's, that's my name! I say happily.

-I can't believe it... She says and it looks like she's about to cry.

-No, no, don't cry! This is supposed to be a happy moment! I say, but tears start to fall from my eyes. She laughs as tears fall from her eyes and she hugs me. I hug her back and spin her around.

-Wait... so it's a girl? I can hear Tuffnuts voice ask. I stop hugging Y/N.

-Yeah... Are you blind? I ask. He scoffs.

-That is so unnatural! He then says.

-W-what...? I ask.

-I thought that maybe you and me would be the normal people left on this island... But it seems as though I'm the only one, he says.

-What are you talking about? You're the one that told me that this would happen, and that I know it would happen! Why can't you be happy for me? I ask irritated. I can feel Y/N grab my hand. I look at her and she looks very scared by my brothers outburst. The others only look at me.

-You guys don't think this is unnatural!? He shouts at them.

-Uh, Tuffnut..? Hiccup asks.

-Don't you think this is unnatural!? He shouts louder and I can feel Y/N flinch.

-Actually, Tuffnut, there are a lot of animal species that have gay couples that take care of abandoned kids and that- That doesn't matter! Tuffnut interrupts Fishlegs.

-They're not animals! Or are they!? I can't even tell anymore! He shouts. Y/N is shaking and I can feel my own eyes starting to water.

-Stop... I say.

-Huh!? Or are they another animal species in your analysis!? He says.

-Stop! I say, a tear falling from my eye.

-What!? He shouts and Y/N whimpers.

-Stop... please Tuffnut... don't do this... I say.

-I always knew you were the freak of the family... he says. I shake my head.

-No, Tuffnut please.... Please, don't leave me when I need you the most... I beg. Y/N hugs my arm from beside me. Tuffnut looks at us and shakes his head.

-I need time... he says before he walks away.

I sniffle before I embrace the girl beside me. The girl who's name is on my wrist. I sigh and kiss the top of her head.

-I'll make him change his mind... It's going to be alright..., I promise.
