《Random x Reader one-shots》Lesbian! Buttercup (Ppg) x reader: I'm not sure...

Warning: a bit of swearing in this one... it's almost ridiculous
Y/N POV
My friend dragged me to a party that I didn't really want to go to... again. I mean, I could go party every once in a while, but my friend was a party animal and partied every weekend. I can't balance that with school, work and hero stuff. Well... Nobody knew about of course.
Right now I'm not really in the mood for a party. I'd like it more if it was a smaller get-together in my apartment with some friends right now. I take a sip of one of the drinks they served. Can't remember which one though, but it's sweet. As I take another swig, I make eye contact with a pretty girl, only a couple of meters away. She's wearing a neon green tank top, black cargo pants and a dark green bomber jacket. She has enchantingly green eyes.I maintain eye contact with her as I lower the glass from my face. We keep that eye contact for a while before she looks around and walks over to me.
-Hey, she says.
-Hey, I say. I smile at her.
-What's someone like you doing in a party like this? She asks.
-Eh... I'm not really sure, to be honest, I say and look down in my drink.
-Hmm, fair enough, she says and huffs.
-What about you? I ask, looking back at her.
-Eh, I'm not sure... she copies me.
-A couple of friends said this always the place to go for a real party, she says.
-Sounds interesting... What kind of friends? I ask. The girl nods over to a little group of people. Three guys and two girls.
-Oh... I say.
-I'm just not really in the mood for a party right now, she says.
-Me neither... I say.
-I'd rather have a small get-together at home... I continue, but realized we've said the same thing. She smirks at me.
-Buttercup... She says and holds out a hand.
-Y/N, I say and shake it.
We talk for a while before we decide to walk to the outside area of the club.
We talk out there for a while before she takes out a pack of cigarettes. She places one in her mouth before reaching the pack out to me.
-You want one? She asks. I smile and shake my head.
-Nah... I don't smoke, I say. She puts the cigarettes back into her pocket and searches for something else. A lighter probably.
-Shit... She says. I reach into my back pocket and show her the lighter.
-I thought you said that you didn't smoke, she says as she lights the cigarette.
-I don't... But my friend does and always seems to forget lighters at my apartment, I say as she hands the lighter back to me. I put it back into my pocket. She blows out a huff of smoke.
We stand in silence as she smokes her cigarette.

When she's done she drops the cigarette and steps on it to kill the fire.
-Well.... What now? She asks. I shrug.
-I'm not really sure... I look back onside and sigh. Buttercup realizes my boredom.
-We can go to your place... She says. I look at her suspiciously.
-If you want, I mean, she says and puts her hands into the pockets of her jacket. I smile.
-Sure, sounds nice... I say...
-But then we'll have to go back... in there... I say and look into the club again. The many people that are still there are kissing and making out on the walls and on the dance floor.
Buttercup grabs my hand and leads me through the club. Through the dance floor, up the stairs and through a crooked corridor. When we get outside I step out and breath in fresh air, something I haven't had for almost 3 hours.
-Wait here, I'll be right back, Buttercup says as she disappeared into the club again. I lean against the wall and breath, slowly.
Buttercups POV:
I walk down the stairs and immediately spot Butch, of course, playing another girl. I walk up to him.
-Hey Butch, you've seen Blossom? I ask. He looks at me.
-Yeah, She's by the bar, beating Brick at shots, he says. Then he smirks.
-I saw you walking out with that girl... Who's she? He asks teasingly.
-None of your goddamned business, I say and turn red.
-Is she tonight's hookup? He asks.
-I said, it's none of your business, I say again.
He backs up.
-Alright, if you say so, he says, throwing his arms up in defense. I glare at him and take two steps away from him and the girl, before turning back.
-You know that he gets drunk by his second light beer? I say to her as I walk away towards Blossom. I hear cheering coming from the bar.
-Do I need to beat you a third time for you to give up? She asks Brick who is half asleep on the counter top.
-N-no, he says shakily.
-Didn't think so, Blossom says.
-Hey Blossom, I'm heading out, I say.
-Where? She asks.
-To a... friends house... yeah... I say and nod to myself. Blossom looks at me.
-Anyways, She's waiting for me outside, so I need to go... I say.
-I'll be home before 4, I say as I run up the stairs.
Y/N POV
I hear footsteps come out of the club and Buttercup walks out. She smiles at me when she sees me, and I smile back. We walk back to my place and I find something to drink for the both of us.
We talk, and talk, and talk...
-So do you have a boyfriend? Buttercup asks me.
-Mmm, not really... I say, trying to hide the upcoming blush.
-What do you mean "not really"? She asks.
-What I mean is I'm not into guys, I say. She stays quiet.

-Wait... you're... lesbian? She asks. Oh shit, too soon, too soon.
-Yeah, I say... shut up! She laughs a bit.
-Well, I guess we share the struggle then, she says.
-What? You're lesbian too? I ask in disbelief.
-Yeah, she says and laughs. I laugh with her.
We stop laughing after a while and just stare into each other's eyes. I lean in towards her, and I notice she does the same. My eyes flicker from her eyes to her lips, until they meet. I close my eyes and put one hand on the nape of her neck, and the other one on her leg to not fall onto her. She holds the back of my head gently as our lips move in sync. When we pull apart, we both wear the lipgloss I was wearing.
I just stare at her. She does the same. Neither of us speaks, but I guess we're to caught up in the moment to care...
-So... What now...? She asks.
-I don't know... I say. My face is still maybe just a centimeter from hers.
We lean back and just sit in silence. Awkward silence...
-Well, I-I should probably go home now... Buttercup says.
-Huh? Oh, yeah, totally, I say and agree. Buttercup grabs her bomber jacket she had thrown off on my couch and puts it on, standing in the open doorway.
-Well... I'll see ya around, she says disappointed before heading out closing the door after her.
I sigh and lean back onto my couch. I grab a pillow from beside me and I scream as loud as I can into it. When I'm done I throw the pillow away and put a hand on my forehead.
-Why am I such an idiot? The first girl you've ever liked since high school and you mess it up? Good job Y/N... I scold myself. After a couple of minutes I go to bed. Not brushing my teeth or change, nothing, just going to bed.
A few days later:
It's been a few days since me and Buttercup kissed, but I couldn't get her out of my mind.
I work halftime in a coffee chain with my best friend, who wasn't very happy that I had left her drunk ass at the club.
-You could've at least told me! She said as we waited for the lunch rush of customers.
-Well, I couldn't find you! And besides, I was with someone... I say as the first five lunch customers comes inside.
-Oooooo... Was it a nice girl? Did you kiss? Make out? Hookup? She asks. I blush.
A lot of customers enter and I help them with their orders, making coffee on a rolling band.
-No, we just kissed... and it's none of your business, I say. I'm done with almost every customers orders and I get to my last one.
-Hello, welcome to happy coffee bean, how can I-, I say as I look up to see those same eyes. Those same enchanting eyes...
-Buttercup? I ask.
-H-hi, I didn't know... I didn't know you worked here, she says and I hear the paper dolor in her hand crumple a bit. I smile a bit before frowning, remembering what I did to her.
-Can I take your order? I ask.
-Y/N, I-
-Can I take your order? I ask again, looking down into the screen.
-Oh, ummm... Just a iced Macha tea, she says. I type it in.
-That'll be 6$, I say. She hands me the 10$ bill and I give her 4 back.
-Y/N, please, I need to talk to you.... Please, she says. I look up at her. Then I look around me and then at the clock.
-I'll clock out for lunch in 10 minutes... Be at that table in the corner, I say. She smiles a bit and sit down at the table in the corner.
-So that's her? My friend asks. I nod.
-She's the one you dissed me for? She asks. I hit her arm.
-Ow! She says.
-Well... She's pretty cute, I guess, she says. I breath and untie my apron and take my lunch and sit in front of Buttercup.
In silence I open the lunch package and take out my cutlery.
-You wanted to talk? I ask.
-Yes, I... She begins. I take a bite of my food, looking down onto my plate.
-...Y/N... Buttercup says, taking my hand, making me look into her eyes.
-You're the first girl I've kissed since realizing I was a lesbian. You're the first girl that has ever made me feel that important, since... ever... I'm sorry if this is too soon, but I want to try 'us', She says.
-You... you do? I ask.
-Yeah. And I know you might not be up for it, and I can understand, and-
-Buttercup, I fucked up. I 100% want to try 'us'. And I'm sorry that everything went to hell this weekend, but yes... I want it to be 'us', I say. She smiles and leans over the table, still holding my hand. I put my other hand on the nape of her neck pushing our lips together.
She smiles and hums into the kiss. We split.
-That was the most amazing yet... She says.
-Well you better saddle up, because you got quite a lot coming for ya, I say smiling softly at her. She smiles at me. I get so flustered that my hand gets boiling hot.
-Ow! She says letting go of my hand. I smile awkwardly at her. She looks at me in disbelief.
-You got powers too? She asks. I nod.
-Wait, What do you mean "too"? I ask. Buttercup places her hand on my fiery one. But her hand was ice-cold, making my hand cools down.
-Wow... I say, intertwining our hands.
She just chuckles and kisses me again.
