Miles POV:

It's been a month without Y/N.

Aaron has gotten a new exchange student, but it's not the same. Because of the exchange student, I'm avoiding going there often, because when I get there I always expect Y/N to open the door, and it hurts when it isn't. I keep some of the stuff that she forgot at Aaron's place, so when she comes back, she can get them back. Although she may never come back....

A year later:

The exchange student went back home, and Aaron decided to pause with the exchange students for a while. I FaceTimed with Y/N for the first time on her birthday last year. She looks no different, but she seems so much stronger than before. She let me 'meet' her family, and I couldn't be more happy that her parents trust me.

Five months later:

I'm at Aaron's place, just hanging around.

-I miss Y/N, I say.

-Yeah I know... Aaron says.

-Did you know she didn't even finish her last half year? He then says. I look at him.

-What do you...? I ask. Suddenly someone knocks at the door. I stand up and walk to the door, unlocking it before opening it.

I stand in shock when I see the suitcase.
