Y/N POV

I was bored out of my mind. I'm just sitting here, my head on my bench and just sighing. Life is so booooooooring!

I don't know what to do. I just may think I'll crawl out of my skin if something exciting doesn't happen soon...

Discord POV

I'm in my own realm of chaos, reading a book I "borrowed" from Twilight. Of course she's going to get it back, but it sounded exciting. "Expecting parents 101". It was truly a fascinating book. How ponies get so worked up about having a baby. But suddenly a part of the realm starts malfunctioning. I look up from my book and see things that is supposed to float around just jumping up and down like rabbits. I just watch it for a while before everything over there just stops and falls on the ground. Porcelain cups and plates break and scatter all over the blue/green checkered ground. I stare in disbelief at the ground. I put down the book on the table next to me and walk over. My eyes fall on a small plush toy of a dog, a Christmas present that I received from Y/N a couple of years ago. And it clicked. This was her part of the realm malfunctioning. Something must be wrong. I snap my fingers and arrive in Y/N's room, behind her sulking form.

-Do not fear, for your savior is here! I say and she snaps up and looks at me in shock.

-Oh my Celestia, Discord! She says.

-Hello Y/N! Happy to see me? I ask.

-Eh, she says and puts her head on the table once again. I snap my fingers and sit in front of her like a tiny version of me.

-What has you all worked up? I ask.

-Nothing... Absolutely nothing. And that's why I'm sitting here, doing nothing, she says. I frown. Oh. She was having a bad boredom-day.

-Well, why don't we do something about it, shall we? I ask and snap my fingers. I make both me and Y/N appear at the very top of her house.

Y/N screams and clings to the wind post on the roof.

-Whet the hell Discord!? She screams and I chuckle at her anger.

-What? I thought you wanted something exciting to happen? I ask.

-Yes, but this is not what I meant! Y/N says. I shrug and snap us back into her room. She breathes heavily and flares at me.

-You're insane, she says and smiles slightly. I smirk.

-It's what I do, sweetheart, I say. Suddenly I notice a book laying on her night table. "Harry Hoofer and the order of the Phoenix".

-You're a Harry Hoofer fan? I ask and pick up the book.

-P-put it down! Y/N says and darkens in her face.

-I thought it was meant for teenagers and "egg heads", I say and read the back side of the book. Hmm... Interesting. I hear Y/N sigh.

-You know what Discord? If you didn't come here to show some sympathy or to do anything useful, then you can leave, she says. I look at her in shock at her words. Then I look back at the book in my hand. Then back at Y/N.

-Read it to me, I say.

-Excuse me? Y/N says in disbelief.

-The book. Could you read it to me? I ask. Y/N gapes before coming back to her senses.

-Y-Yeah, ok, sure, she says before styling herself on the bed. I sit down in front of her and look at her in anticipation as she opens the first page of the book. She looks at me and then takes a deep breath.

Then she starts reading.

After 3 chapters we are about to loose it. It begin as a joke, but now Y/N can't stop laughing. Then book lays open on the floor, and Y/N lays on the bed, wheezing of laughter.

-And THEN, he said; I'm sorry, I thought it was YOURS! I finish my joke and begin laughing with her. Her laughter fills the air and she falls of the bed. My eyes become all watery from laughing. Then I only hear Y/N's continues laughter. She sounds like an angel. Everything about her is amazing, and that she took her time to read for me. ME.

Then I see her from the side of the bed and she's crawling up on the bed again.

-Wow... Thank you Discord. For today. I'll be sure to remember it, she says and smiles at me. My heart speeds up like a swarm of bees.

-It was my pleasure Y/N, I say and now to her. She smiles and looks out of the window. The sun is setting and the light casts a beautiful light over her f/c fur.

-Could you... Continue the story? I ask and she looks back at me. She nogs and picks up the book from the floor, and continues to read to me.

The time is way past midnight when we finally say goodbye.

-Thank you for taking your time to read for me, I say.

-Thank you for making my day eventful, she says and smiles. I smile back. Suddenly she kisses my cheek.

-Until next time, she says and my mind races. She... She just... wow... I smile at her beaming face and snap my fingers and immediately return into the realm of chaos. I look to Y/N's part of the realm. The things are floating again, but in a weird pattern, before forming a heart and continues to float in the same shape. I blush slightly to myself.

Y/N POV

I'm really glad Discord came today. Out of all the ponies or creatures that could've come, he did.

Think that with just the right company, you turn out to have a great time.

A boring day turned into the best and most eventful day in my life, thanks to him.
