Georgia's POV
Being the towns only mechanic had its ups and downs. One pro was all the money you made. On the other side, the con was that you had to do much work in a short period of time. I have a lot of people that come here that I recognize, and a lot that I know personally now. But there's one guy, he comes here almost all the time. He has this really cool, old school, Black Harley Davidson that he manages to break almost every day. I'm surprised it's not falling apart from how much he breaks it. But it's pretty small scratches and such, nothing big.... For the most part. He is really cute. But I can't tell anyone, especially not my little sister. She would tease the last living soul out of me.
I wipe some drops of oil off of my fore head, which made a big black swatch on there. I sit up from my spot on the floor and look at it. The old Toyota. I put away all the tools on the tool table and shut the lights off in the staff room and everywhere else, except a single light bulb that hangs by the door. I grab my leather jacket from the clothing hanger. I put it on and take my phone from the charging point. I put it on my pocket and turn around when I see Wybie stand in the door way. I look at him in shock.
-Hey Wybie? I say, but it comes out more as a question.
-H-Hey Georgia, He says and scratches his neck. Silence.
-Eh, well, I was wondering if you could, y'know, fix my bike? He says and heaves his very scrambled bike inside. I smirk and cross my arms.
-Did you break your motorcycle again! I ask mockingly, but he didn't catch that.
-It w-was raining, a-And-
I laugh, which interrupts him.
-Yeah, C'mon, I'll put on some tea for us. Sit down, place your bike right under that light, I say, pointing to the last living light. I walk back into the darkness to the mini kitchen, lighting the small lights and putting on some water.
-How did you manage to crumble it up like paper? I ask, walking into the light, looking at the bike.
-Well. There was mud, and a road... And right before I knew it, there was a tree right in front of me, making me fall down into a ditch, He says and plays with his hands.
-Granny will kill me y'know. If she finds out, He says and looks up at me with a small smile. I smile back and sit down on my working chair.
-I'm no snitch, I say and take a flashlight so I can see what I'm doing. I see a loose bolt, so I take a wrench and I see Wybie look around. I smile at his wonder and put the flashlight in my mouth and tighten the bolt, making the mudflap sit tight, checking if it needs to be tightened on the front. Yes, it does.
-Doesn't it get lonely here? He asks. I take out the flashlight from my mouth and flash at one of the tires, and then the other. It's flat.
-Yeah, sometimes, I say. Wybie looks at me.

-But, most often you have good company, I smile and go to the kitchen, pouring the tea into two cups. I shut the lights off and give a mug to Wybie. I put the cup beside the bike and look at it. Then I grab a hammer and just begin hammering the base until it looks somewhat whole. I stand back and it actually looks like a bike again. Then I look at Wybie. He looks shocked at me.
-Wow... He whispers and smiles. I smile back and then look at the bike. Then I sigh in frustration.
-I could have it done by tomorrow, this time? I say and pick up the mug from the floor, and drinking from it.
-R-Really? That's great!... But how am I gonna get home? He asks as he puts the empty cup on the tool table.
-I could give you a ride, I say and finish the cup. I place it next to Wybies as I look at him.
-W-Well, I mean, if you're going home, then sure, he says and look down on the floor.
-It's 5 o'clock, of course I'm going home, I say and laugh. He looks at me and blushes. I walk to the door and put my hand over the light switch.
-Are you coming, or do you wanna sit here all night, in the dark? I ask. Wybie quickly stands up and walks out. I switch the light and lock the door behind me. I walk out to my car. The only car left in the parking lot. I jump into the drivers seat and Wybie sits next to me. I start the engine.
-Could you, maybe drive me to my friend Coraline's place? He says.
-Granny will kill me. I think I already told you that, he says and chuckles lightly.
-Yeah, sure. Where does she live? I ask. My heart was sinking. Was she really a friend? Or, was she his girlfriend? Well, I'm not the one to judge.
-She lives by the old supermarket, in the middle of town, he says. I smile at him and back up. I start driving and Wybie plays with the smelly-good thing in the window.
-What scent, he asks.
-Excuse me? I ask.
-What scent is it? Wybie asks curiously. I look at him.
-Raspberry. Why? I ask and smile.
-It smells good, he says and leans back.
-You want me to put on the radio? I ask.
-Yeah... Wybie says. I put on the radio, and it plays a sweet tune. Wybie closes his eyes and humms slightly. I smile and I turn right.
When we arrive, Wybie smiles.
-Thanks Georgie, He says and walks out.
-Anytime, I smile. He closes the door and I breathe out. Then he knocks on the window. I roll it down.
-And, uh, maybe you would like to come over to the pink palace sometime? Coraline's parents are throwing a garden party tomorrow evening. I could save you a seat, he says.
-Only if my little sister can come, I smile. He looks happily at me.
-I'll save you two seats then, he says.
-Great, See ya tomorrow, I say.
-Yeah, See ya, he says and walks to the front door of the apartment building. He rings on a bell and a girl voice answers: "Hello?" That's all I hear before I close the window and drive towards my own home. To my little sister.
Today my sister came to work after school. She has a cute yellow shirt and her normal signature jean overalls. I was finishing Wybies bike and I wipe the sweat of my face. Then I smile when I see my Little Sister, Paris, sitting and admiring the bike.

-You like it? I ask.
-Who's is it? She asks and I stand up.
-Wybies, I say.
-That guy you kinda like? She asks and I look at her and blush.
-W-what?
-You know, that tall guy, who is a little darker and has big, poofy hair? She says and smiles. I just stand there, blushing. Then I take my sweat towel and dry my neck.
-Poofy? I finally squeak out.
-Yeah. I love his hair! She says. I laugh.
I look at the bike.
-Maybe you should leave a small autograph, to remember you from? She says. I look at her.
-Really? She nods.
-I can't just paint my name on his bike! That would be weird! I say.
-Well, if you don't, I will, she says and grabs a tiny brush and some white car paint. I sigh as she smoothly writes my name on the back tank. It shines on the black tank like neon lights. I smile.
-You forgot something, I say and grabs the brush, dipping it lightly in the paint. I hesitate, before I draw a messy heart after my name.
-Awwww, she says. I smile.
-Well... I'm going to take a shower real quick. Wybie might come and get his bike, so you'll say I'm gone, I say and head into the staff shower with my bag with my clean clothes and shower stuff.
-And put away the paint and clean the brushes! I say before I close the door.
-On it! I hear.
After the shower I put on my clean, nice clothes. It consists of a pair of shorts and a flowy, white, flowery tunic. I pack everything into the bag and I walk out of the staff room. As I walk into the mechanic shop I see Paris sitting on the bike, with a helmet and Wybie making motorcycle noises. It makes me smile.
-Hey Georgie! Look what I got to do! I got to sit on his bike! She says excitedly. Wybie looks at me and smiles brightly.
-Well, would you look at that, I smile and blush.
-Yeah. You fixed it! Amazing! I don't get how you do it? Wybie says and helps Paris off of the bike.
-And, uh, nice little detail you put there, Wybie smirks and points to the tank. Where my name was. I blush.
-I didn't remember talking about your name on my bike? He says and leans on the seat of the bike. He crosses his arms in front of him and puts his head on his shoulder. I look away and stutter.
-Well, you see... There was a little... wormhole, I say and look at Paris, looking as innocent as ever.
-Well, I like it. Especially the little heart. It's gonna remind me of you while I'm out, riding my bike, he smiles and graces his hand over the tank, over my name. I smile. He smiles back.
-Well... I'll see you two pretty ladies at the pink palace. Meet ya there, He says before he gets on the bike and takes his helmet and rides out the garage opening. Paris smiles at me.
-You have a cruuush~ she teases.
-Oh, shut up, I say.
-Georgie's got a cruuush~ she continues. I giggle and smile.
-Ssshhh! I say.
-And They're in looove~ she ends
-Oh hush you! I say and close every door and shut off all the lights that are on.
-Now c'mon, don't wanna be late, I say and walk to the door, holding it open for the smiling 12 year old, then locking it. We head to the car and Paris is already in there when I sit down.
We arrive at the pink palace, and park next to a lighter car, and Wybies motorcycle. We both climb out of the car and head towards two big gates. When we step into the garden, the first thing we see is Wybie talking to a blue haired girl. Wybie sees us and smiles, making the blue haired girl look at his gaze. Her eyes meet mine and she smiles, grabbing two cups from a table and walking towards us.
-Hi! She says.
-You must be Georgia. I'm Coraline, she says and hands me to drink before shaking my hand.
-And u must be little Paris, Coraline says and hands her the mug.
-I'm not so little you know, Paris says and sips on the pink lemonade.
-True. Wybie has told me a lot about you two, Coraline says and looks at me.
-Oh has he now? I ask and look at him from behind Coraline. Wybie walks towards us and stands beside Coraline.
-Yeah. Might've said a bit too much, he says nervously and scratches his neck. Suddenly and grayish, black cat and Paris smiles and carefully placed her cup down. She smiles.
-Hi little cat... she says carefully. The cat sniffs her hand before putting its head in her hand and she begins petting it. I smile.
-Well, She's occupied at least, I say. Someone shouts after Coraline and she has to go.
-Come with me, Wybie says and leads me into the garden. He helps me to a basket of Lily's and a shovel.
-Now C'mon, He says and leads me to a empty spot to begin planting some of the flowers.
After an evening of planting flowers it was time for mingling. We have been served some cherry pie, and I've met some of the people living in the pink palace. Wybie has been by my side the whole time. When the sun begins setting he take me by my arm.
-C'mon, I wanna show you something, he says.
-Hey Paris, I'll be back soon, I say. She nods, petting the cat under the chin. I smile and follow Wybie up a hill.
He sits down on a bench and pats the spot next to him. I sit down next to him as he draws a breath, staring out into the sky.
-Y'know Georgie... I've never told you my real name, he says. I look at him and smile. He looks back and then he chuckles.
-Well, go on, spit it out! I laugh, and he laughs with me.
-It's Wyborn. Wyborn Lovat, He says. I smile.
-Thanks... For trusting me with that information, I say. Wybie smiles at me.
-But you'll always be Wybie to me, I say. He smiles even brighter, if that's even possible. He scoots closer and puts his arm around my waist, like it's a natural habit. I smile and put my head on his shoulder. I feel him relax and as he places his head on top of mine.
No words need to be spoken. Only the feeling of him next to me is enough.
