Y/N POV
There's this girl. She works with my father, Vicktor, and I am a few years younger. I've always admired her strength and stone cold heart. She's a big role model for me. But now when I'm almost 15, I've caught feelings. We meet more now when I get to follow my dad more, and I feel like she's the most gorgeous girl I've ever seen. I feel like there is something there, every time we make contact. But she would never feel the same. No. I know that she probably likes one of the older guys...
My father walks very fast and I try to keep up as good as I can. Suddenly we stand in a room.
-Amelia, I need to have a word with my daughter, he says. Amelia just nods and walks to the doors and watches us.
-Yes father? I ask. He looks stone cold at me.
-You are my daughter, yes? He asks. I nod.
-And in the future I hope you'll keep our family's reputation, he continues and walks around me.
-Of course father, I say.
-So I have promised your hand to one of my best warriors, father says. I know exactly who he's referring to, and look towards Amelia by the door. She only looks at me with a glint in her eyes.
-I hope I made myself clear? Father says and I nod and smile.
-Of course father, I say.
-Good. Now I have arranged for you two to spend time together. I hope you both follow these plans thoroughly, Father says and I look at him and nod. I see in the corner of my eyes that Amelie also nods.
-Good. Now go along and start with your day! Father dismisses. Me and Amelia walk out of the room.
-I have sword training now. Come if you want to, she says and smiles a little at me. She walks away and I stand there and smile after her. I decide to go into the kitchens and grab an apple before leaving for the training arena.
I walk into the arena and hear a lot of grunting from the stadium floor. I walk to the front bleachers and see Amelia and another one of dads warriors fighting. I sit down and eat the apple. Amelia wins and the guy surrenders to the other side of the arena and grabs his water bottle. Amelia's forehead is glistening with sweat and she stands there panting. Then she looks around the arena and makes eye contact with me. I smile at her and she bows to me before the next guy walks out from the side and they start fighting again.
A couple of years later;
I'm turning 19 in only a couple of days, and now, my birthday wasn't just going to be my birthday anymore.... It was also going to be my wedding anniversary. I stand in the garden, looking for appropriate flowers to put in my hair. I crouch down and find a beautiful lilac flower. I smile and pick it from it's roots and looking at it.
-Good morning princess. Starting the day with the sweet scent of flowers, I see, I hear a voice right behind me. And I smile, because I know who that voice belongs to.

-Amelia, I say and turn around. She smiles slightly and bows. She takes my hand and kisses it lightly. She looks up at me through her eyelashes, before standing up.
-I was looking for flowers, I say.
-What for...? Amelia asks. I blush slightly.
-You know... I say awkwardly. A slight pink dusts her cheeks, before she smiles.
-Of course... she says. I turn to continue my walk through the garden, Amelia walking beside me.
-You know what I've always thought was funny? I ask. Amelia hums.
-You never look older than maybe 20, you know...? It's amazing. It's like you've never aged, I say. I can feel Amelia tense up.
-I- she starts, but get interrupted by a low growl. We quickly turn around, and a man stands there.
-Who are you? I ask. The man chuckles.
-Does the princess not know... who I am? He asks tauntingly.
-Who are you? And what is your business in my garden? I demand. He only chuckles before think white hair grown out of his skin and his upper body turns into a woodland like creature. I scream and Amelia begins dragging me away, toward the stables. An alarm horn sounds and knights and warriors swarm the garden. Amelia gets handed a horse.
She quickly grabs me and throws me onto the horse.
-Amelia! I say alarmed. She smirks and puts the flower in my hands, in my hair.
-I'll find you... she says.
I nod and ride out of the palace, into the woods. The woods were dark and I can hear those creatures following me. One jumps up right beside me. I scream and kick it in the face. Another tries snatching my foot, but that one also gets a kick in the face.
-What are you!? I shout. A creature jumps and grabs onto the horse and snarls at me. I scream, before an arrow is shot into its skull and it falls limp on the ground. I take a deep breaths, before looking behind me...
-Amelia! I shout. She nods at me. More knights and warriors join her as more of those creatures swarm me and my horse.
-Y/N! You need to leave! Amelia shouts. I look around. How can I leave? It's the woods, I can't just leave! I see a small clearing before a thicker forest. I gallop to the right, to the clearing. The guards manage to trap the creatures that were following me in the woods behind me. I get into the clearing and Huff in relief. But my calm is soon gone, as I hear a howl. I look to my left, and There is the same white creature. I encourage the horse to move faster, but the creature catches on. He runs faster than my horse!
-C'mon! Faster! Faster! I say. I see both the forest and the creature come closer.
I just reach the forest in time. I sigh... but then I feel a burning pain in my arm and the creature pushes me off of my horse. The horse runs away and the creature draws closer. I crawl away, and he smirks evilly down at me. But suddenly, I hear the shouting of the guards come closer, and the creature growls and runs away. I gasp for breath, as I stand up and run deeper into the forest. Sticks and bushes hit me as I fly past. I keep imagining the creature following me, so I can't stop, even though I'm tired and all I wanna do is sleep.

-She'll find me, she'll find me! I keep on whispering to myself as I run. But suddenly, something catches onto my foot, and I fall face first, and everything turns black.
I wake up to a golden sky. The sun is setting and the air is turning cold. I shiver as I rise from the cold and gnarly ground.
-Wh-What, I say, before pain shoots from my arm and I cry out in discomfort. The pain spreads and reaches my neck and chest. My chest feels heavy and I heave for oxygen. I can hear faint hooves clapper on the ground and someone jumping off the horse. My vision becomes slightly blurry, but I know exactly who it was standing in front of me.
-Amelia... I whisper, before the pain shoots out again, reaching my head. I groan loudly and fall down on the ground, but get caught in the last second. I feel a hand on my bleeding arm and I look up to see a concerned Amelia look the wound over.
-Oh no.... you're already turning, she says.
-Amelia...? I say weakly and the pain spreads once more.
-Shhhh... I'm going to fix this, ok? She asks as both of us tear up. She carefully lifts my head and a tear escapes my eyes.
-Amelia... Am I gonna die? I ask quietly.
-No, no.... Not on my watch princess, she says with a bittersweet undertone. I close my eyes to try and not focus on the pain.
Then I feel Amelias nose on my cheek and her ragged breath.
-It's going to be ok, she whispers in my ear.
She puts a hand on my cheek, and the other on the back of my head. Then a sting hits the side of my neck and I cry out in pain. The pain just kept going and going, but it was almost sweet. It was relieving, compared to the pain from my arm. But it still hurt. Then a faint kiss was placed over the pain, before I black out once again.
Later:
The sky was dark as I opened my eyes. Beside me was a small bonfire and Amelia was staring into it with beady eyes. I shuffle to sit up and she looks at me.
-Hi, she says softly.
-What... What happened? What was all that? I ask. I feel the bite on my arm being covered by a thick cloth.
-You were bit by a werewolf, she says and stands up, before sitting down next to me.
-Excuse me, what? I ask dumbfounded.
-That white creature? That was the leader of the werewolf's, she explains. Now everything just felt like a jumble in my brain.
-Ok, then... what's this? I ask and point to the place where I felt the pain. I feel the skin and it feels cold and bruised now, but I have two holes in my skin.
-I... I bit you, Amelia says.
-How? Why? I ask.
-Because I couldn't let you turn into a werewolf... but I believe I turned you into worse, she says and brushed away the few hair strands that hides the bite from her.
-What do you mean? I ask and it turns quiet. The only sound that could be heard was the crackling from the fire. I study her as her jaw tenses up.
-I'm a Vampire... we all were, she says and my breath gets caught in my throat.
-Excuse me? I ask and she looks into my eyes.
-So you mean to tell me.... even.... I say as my thoughts fall into place.
-Father? I ask, and she nods.
-Oh my god..... I say and cover my mouth.
I look away from her in an attempt for everything to make sense... yet it doesn't.
After a while, we make eye contact again. Amelias face shows so many emotions, but still it's as cold as stone. Then realization hits.
-What about the wedding? I ask quickly and put a hand on Amelias arm.
-What about, my birthday or-or dad, or whatever I've become? I-I don't know... I say and Amelia puts a hand over mine.
-We're gonna figure it out, she says and brushes her thumb over my hand.
-But we can't go back...? I ask. She shakes her head.
-No. You're a hybrid now and... Viktor isn't... he doesn't like them, she says.
-But, I'm his daughter maybe I could- Y/N, no, Amelia cuts me off. Tears appear and I cry again.
-Oh my god... I say and cover my mouth with my hand.
Silent tears fall. Amelia puts her hand on my cheek and my attention falls on her.
-Y/N.... she whispers and draws closer to me.
-Yeah....? I ask as our breaths start to merge.
-I...... I.... she says, but our lips meet instead. They're rough and chapped, but tastes like sun kissed berries. I could feel them like it's a memory, like something that's happened in my dreams, over and over again.
Her lips part from mine and she rests her forehead on mine.
-I love you... I always have. You and I have had a bond since the day you could talk, she says. I giggle and she smiles.
-Do you remember your first words? She asks and I smile.
-Pretty girl, I say and we laugh.
-And I pointed at you, I say.
-Yeah.... is that still true? She asks.
-What? I ask.
-Am I still a pretty girl? She asks and I put a hand on her cheek and brush my thumbs over the apples of her cheeks.
-Always been, I say and she smiles, before kissing me again. I smile into the kiss and the fire brings us warmth and comfort in the cold woods.
Everything was going to be ok, with just us. We were going to manage on our own and stay clear of my father.
We were going to get married. Nothing big, but big enough to make it a real event... and I couldn't wait...
