Third person POV
He was haunting you. Every day, every night went by, just thinking of what he would do to you....
What excuse he would use next time... And the time after that, and the time after that........
You are a third year Hufflepuff, and he was a fourth year Slytherin. It only made sense that you were his target.
You tried- you really tried, turning his mind around... But to no avail....
And walking in these corridors...
You always think; 'Maybe he won't go in this corridor today...' But luck wasn't on your side most of the time.
-Hello you filthy mudblood. Was the dreaded phrase you got right before all your books were thrown out on the floor. Everyone just stands and laughs. Luckily you have Ginny to help you pick everything up.
-Oh, just what are you laughing at? Go! There's nothing to see here! Leave! She says and the people scatter, afraid of her temper. You stand up and she hands you all of your books.
-Thanks Ginny... you say.
-You should stand up to yourself more! Next time I'll punch his teeth in! Ginny says, but you only sigh.
-He's not worth it Ginny, just leave him be.
-Leave him be!? Have you gone mad! If there is something to do about it, I will do it! That's the problem with you Hufflepuffs.... You're always way to nice... Ginny says as you arrive to your class.
In the middle of professor Snapes class a knock interrupts.
-Come in, Professor Snape says. You look down the hall towards the opening door. In comes... Malfoy...
-Mr Malfoy... Such a pleasant surprise. What is your intentions in disturbing my class? Snape asks.
-We are practicing dancing towards the yule ball sir. And we are two ladies down. Professor Mcgonagall sent me down to maybe borrow some from your class, he says with an evil smirk on his face.
-L/n, weasley! Go with mr Malfoy to dance practice... Snape says and you look at him.
-But Professor! You and Ginny says at the same time.
-No buts! Or else detention! Snape says.
-But- Yes Professor, you cut off Ginny.
You grab her arm and both of your stuff and walk by Malfoy towards the great hall. Ginny eyes him eerily on the way out.
Y/N POV
As we walk down the halls I can hear Malfoy walk shortly behind us. We stop right by the hall doors.

-Ladies first, Malfoy says and opens the door for us. We walk in, Malfoy right after us.
-Ah! mr Malfoy, Professor Mcgonagall says.
-So glad you came back! Mrs Weasley, mrs L/N, have a seat, Professor Mcgonagall says and we sit down next to Hermione.
We listen to Professor Mcgonagall until she tells us to stand up and grab a hold of a partner to dance with. Ginny almost gave to push me up in the floor. You see, I'm not that confident... But she put me in the middle of all the girl chaos. The only boy who stands is Neville. He is such a sweet guy! He walks straight up to Ginny, who stands beside me, and asks for a dance.
She politely says "yes"and they dance away. Suddenly a few more guys decide to step up and ask girls to dance.
I think they only do it because that Neville could do it.
I stand there awkwardly, waiting for someone to ask me for a dance.
Suddenly a pair of feet comes in my sight and I look up. It's one of the Weasley twins.
-I thought you looked lonely, He says and holds out a hand for me.
-Is it Fred or George I have the honor to dance with? I ask, a small smile on my face.
-Today it will be George who will take you out for a dance! George says and grabs my hand and swings me out on the dance floor. We dance, but I could see Malfoy sneer at us in the corner of my eye. But I quickly shake it off and dance with the much older Weasley.
::A couple of weeks later::
The Yule ball was getting closer, and I still hadn't been asked. I know I probably wouldn't, since I'm "too young" and a Hufflepuff. But, oh, a girl could dream. Cedric Diggory, the triwizard competitor, told me that I would for sure be asked by a nice guy.
And it's always been a dream of mine to attend a ball, but if not tonight I'll guess there'll be another chance...
It had just been the last lesson before Christmas break. Ginny had been asked to the ball for about 2 weeks ago by Neville. But just as friends, of course.
Luna wasn't going, since she hadn't been asked, but she said that if I'm not asked, we could sit in the Hufflepuff common room and read nice stories from a big book she had borrowed from the library.

Me and Luna are currently sitting outside on a bench in the courtyard. Snow is softly falling around us, and we laugh at Luna's bare feet.
-Hello L/n, we hear a voice. We look up, and there stands Malfoy.
-Hello Malfoy... What, what is on your mind? I ask. I don't want to risk to start a scene.
-Nothing... I just wanted to ask how you are today... He says. I look at him in shock.
-I am good, and you? I ask, pulling my yellow scarf tighter around my face. My red cheeks puffing up as I try making my face warmer.
-No, no, I'm good... he says and a awkward silence arrive. You could basically cut through the air with scissors.
-Yes, and I was wondering if you would like to go to the Yule ball with me? He asks. I stare at him... but... but...
I realize that I've been quiet for too long. Malfoy's eyes glistened with sadness as I open my mouth.
-Oh, ummm.. Yes.. I would love to go. With you, I mean, I say and my red cheeks get warm when blood rushes to them.
-Ok... I will expect you to be the most eye catching in there... You are usually good at being the most gorgeous in a room. Good afternoon l/n, lovegood, Malfoy says and walks away, towards the owls tower. I look at Luna who is already staring at me.
We both begin laughing.
-I can't believe you got asked! By Draco Malfoy at that! She says in shock.
-Me neither.. I say, a goofy smile in my face.
-But why did you says yes? Doesn't he bully you..?Luna asks.
-I don't know... I just looked into his eyes and I guess I didn't have heart enough to say no... I say... but in reality, I think I felt something, right in that moment, when we locked eyes. They had this mix between pleading and hope in them, that I felt stab me in the heart.
-Ok, I guess I'll have to read that book all by myself now, she says.
-I'm sorry... I say.
-Raincheck? I ask. Luna nods.
-Of course. You're going to the Yule ball after all. So I guess the only thing we will be reading is clothing magazines.
It's the same night, and I owled a letter, telling mum and dad that I had been asked to the ball, and that I will be needing a dress. I also asked if Luna and Ginny could come and help me pick out one. I'm laying in bed, reading their response letter.
"Oh, that sounds absolutely wonderful dear! That Malfoy boy really changed his mind! Come in to London tomorrow and we'll search for a dress for you honey! Of course your friends can come! See you tomorrow,
From Mum and dad."
Me, Luna and Ginny arrive at Kings cross station at noon. We meet mum and dad and I introduce them to Ginny and Luna.
We search through almost all of London while searching for a perfect dress. I searched for something playful AND elegant, but it's apparently not that easy...
We walk into a store that looks a little more budget than the others we've been to. We look around and I try on a few dresses. We searched the store some more, and the staff was really helpful while searching for the perfect dress. They even said that if the dress doesn't fit, they'll re-sew it for us. They don't get as many customers as the other, more fancy stores do.
Something yellow/other color catches my eye in the corner of the store. I walk over to it and look at it. I immediately fall in love with it.
It's a beautiful yellow/other colored gown with small black patters on a shoulder and on the bottom of the dress.
It's a beautiful yellow/other color tulle gown with a sweetheart neckline.
(Here is some inspiration! You don't HAVE to pick these, they were just something I searched up! Choose whatever you want to wear!)
-I need this, I say and run to the changing rooms and try it on. It fits like a glove.
I walk out and twirl for everyone to see.
-Honey! Mum says and covers her mouth.
-You look gorgeous in that dress Y/N! Luna says as she stands in her new shoes mum bought for her.
-I bet Malfoy will look like a stick compared to you! Ginny says.
-Oh, I think he will be just as handsome as Y/N is! Mum says and hugs me.
-You're growing up to fast! Dad says and mum lets me go.

But when the teen gets summoned to another world by a dysfunctional martial sect as their would-be savior, she’ll have to fight harder than ever just to get him back. Single Mother Cultivator is as the title suggests, a Cultivation novel. Unlike other Cultivation stories, this one focuses on multiple Asian mythologies rather than just Chinese myth, and isn’t just a generic power fantasy. It is just large enough for a college, a small town, and maybe even a few more unusual sorts of places. Of course, the townsfolk practically know each other as family. Flush-faced regulars can be found toasting just about anything in the Briar's Brew, then, a few streets away, the same haggle of older women stationed themselves on their perch as they did every day from one of the few balconies in Central Square. They fuss away now, spouting the usual gossip as they watch us all from on high. Then there is the College here on the Isle of Red. My college. It has been often described as an unusual place by a good deal of people on the mainland. If they only would visit -why I am sure they'll soon have a change of heart, they may even come to find it a quaint sort of place, odd but in the same way a tattered old quilt can be both odd looking and warm, and especially soft. We teach mostly the same sort of disciplines here, with fantastic and absolutely normal professors.I must conclude that I am quite smitten with myself. The stage is set with a level of perfection that would have astonished me in my youth. They are coming. Derek will follow her. He knows the weight of reality too intimately, but she will be his true north if only for a short time. She holds onto questions feverishly tight, that one. Lights them up inside like a new type of fuel without the slightest worry of being burned. She knows... There is but a certain few who can look at a map and find nothing where I stand but the Atlantic Ocean. Neither, technically, do I. (Hello!
