Third person POV

A very irritated Dave walks around in the room as the chipmunks and chipettes do their own thing. The dark/light furred chipette known as Y/N sat and looked through some of the magazines she had gotten her paws on.

Ever since that day when she got to join the chipmunks she's been a part of their family. They are currently on a cruise to the international music awards. Y/N's Mom was putting on her earrings and Dave was fixing his tie in the bathroom.

They had to have dinner with the captain and apologize for Alvin's behavior earlier today. Y/N didn't have anything to do with it. All she had done during the day was sitting on a chair, bored, and waited for her boyfriend of a couple of months *cough* Alvin *cough* to entertain her. But no, of course not... he just HAD to make it all a big lump of chaos.

Y/N POV

-Ok.... you're old enough to choose by yourself, Dave said and have Theo the remote.

-You ready to go? Mom asked and Dave nodded, his new necklace clanging as he did so. They walk out of the door.

-Bye Dave!.... and Hello ladies! Alvin says and takes off his pajamas. Under it he has a white tux that makes him look... rather handsome. But I feel a lump in my throat as he says "ladies".

-I like it shaken, not stirred! Alvin says with a weird accent.

-Alvin, you have a girlfriend... Jeanette says and I sit up on the bed. Alvin looks at me. I remember that this is the first time he sees me in my pajamas. It's also the first time we sleep I the same bed. Oh well... Alvin looks at me and his eyes widen. I look sadly at him.

-Sorry Y/N, heh... Alvin says and awkwardly scratches his neck and I go into anger mode.

-No it's fine... Go, have fun, get those ladies, cause you apparently don't need the one you already got, I say and look down on the magazine I was reading earlier. A tear slips down my cheek and onto the paper. Suddenly I feel a slight shift beside me and a hand on my shoulder.

-Hey, I didn't mean it... Alvin says with a soft voice. Another tear falls and I look up at him.

-Hey... I could never cheat on the most wonderful person I've ever met... Alvin says and I smile a little. Alvin kisses my cheek.

-Ok? Alvin asks and I nod and smile.

-Great. I'm just going out for a while, Alvin says and then he and Simon starts arguing about something. I don't hear because I was too caught up thinking about what he said. "The most wonderful person he'd ever met?"

I smile. Suddenly I hear Eleanor's voice ask:

-Do you wanna come with us Y/N?

-No, I'm fine, thanks... I answer and smile.

-Oh... ok. But if you change your mind there's a dress waiting for you here, Brittany says and they head out.

I look towards Theo.

"He looks good" I say and continue to read the magazine.

In what feels like a couple of minutes I hear the door open and close again. I look up from my magazine.

-Alvin? Dave asks and comes into the room, my mom trailing behind him.

-Hi Y/N, she says.

-Theo, why are you watching jungle monster 4? Alvin, how could you let him-Alvin? Dave asks and I look around the room. "I thought he should be back about now."

-Y/N, where did Alvin go? Dave asks angry.

-I don't know... but he said out, and if I know him right, which I do, he is probably at the casino, I say.

-And the girls? Dave asks.

-I think our dancing... I answer.

Dave storms out and mom looks to Theo. She picks him up and puts him to bed.

-You should sleep too Y/N, mom says.

-No... I'll wait for them to come back, I say and mom nods and take a finished magazine.

After a while I see Dave come in with Alvin, the girls, and surprisingly Simon. Dave scolds them and and Alvin looks at me and smiles sheepishly.

I shake my head and run off to bed.

-Night mom, I say and fall asleep like a light. I wake up in what feels like an eternity later. I sit up in the bed and see Alvin dress from his fancy clothes to pajamas.

-Oh, you're awake, he says and puts on the shirt.

-Did I wake you? He asks and I shake my head.

-You know, you should really listen to Dave once in a while, I say and straighten the pillow behind me.

-Not you to! Alvin says and sits next to me on the bed.

-You know, one day it'll be something even more serious... you can't ignore him then, I say. Then I soften up when I see Alvin's terrified face.

-Come here, I say and pat next to me. Alvin jumps onto the bed and rests his head on my chest.

-You promise that you'll try? I say and I feel Alvin nod. I lay down and fall asleep before Alvin.

On the island the next day;

-I told you Alvin! I told you that you should listen more often! I say angrily. No. Furious...

They were chasing each other for a mango... suddenly a rustle from the bushes can be heard and we all stop dead in our tracks.

-jungle monster... I hear Theo whisper.

We build a catapult and throw the mango on the thing. Thud.

-Ow! A girl says. Her hair is very dark and she looks a little worn out.

-Please don't eat us mister jungle monster! Theo says and the girl brings her hand to her forehead.

-I'm no monster, I'm Zoe and... apparently been on this island so long that I think squirrels can talk, she says and looks at us in awe.

-We're not squirrels! Brittany says offended.

-Yeah, we're chipmunks! Like Alvin and the chipmunks? Alvin says.

-Alvin and The Who? Zoe says and my chin drops. Does she seriously not know who they are?

-You Maybe have heard about the chipettes? We're kinda world famous, Brittany says and Zoe looks even more confused.

-Ok, maybe this will help, Brittany says, and we start singing the intro to Bad romance by lady Gaga.

-Stop, stop, stop, wait... I don't know who you are, Zoe says and I faint.

(Very long time skip because le author is le lazy!)

-Please! Help me save my dad! Alvin desperately says to Ian in a pelican costume and Zoe, who surprisingly tried to almost kill us. I run to Alvin and try to help him up on the ground.

Zoe kneels down and helps and Ian helps Dave up and we run to the handmade boat we made. Mom is almost crying and they begin paddling.

We get away from the volcano island and is now out on the sea with no land in sight. I sit beside Alvin and mom and try to not fall asleep.

Suddenly I hear a helicopter fly above us.

-Hey Alvin, you know that army knife I have to you? Dave says and Alvin nods.

-Oh, right.. hehe. Sorry, Alvin says and tries to give it back to Dave.

-No, I want you to keep it, Dave says and Alvin looks in surprise at me, and I look just as confused.

-Wait, really? Alvin and I says at the same time.

-Yeah... And while you're at it, could you signal to that helicopter over there? Dave says and points to the helicopter. Alvin looks at me, smirks, then signals to the helicopter.

(Le time skip agaen....)

-You ready Y/N? Eleanor asks.

-Ready as I'll ever be! I answer and we get sent down over the stage.

(Time skip............. again)

The song ends and Alvin hold me in his arms. We look at each other and I smile and put my head on his shoulder.

-You were amazing, Alvin whispers in my ear and I smile even bigger.

-You too, I say and kiss him.

-Awe! Jeanette says and we part.

(Time skip again!!!!!!!!!! Aaaah! So many time skips!)

We sit in the plane and I sit beside mom.

-You ready to go home? Mom ask and I nod, leans my back into the seat, trying to relax. Going on planes wasn't my top 1# thing to do, but it was necessary.

Suddenly I hear Alvin's voice in the speakers.

-Alvin! Dave says.

-And thank you for traveling with Alvin airlines, enjoy your flight! I hear before the speaker goes off. Suddenly the food cart comes in high speed towards Dave and he falls over it.

-Alviiiin! He screams and Alvin peeks out from the cabinet. I look at him and shake my head and he smiles sheepishly. Alvin comes to me and sits next to me on the seat. My mom stands up and helps Dave up on his feet.

He sits next to the others and we sit in comfortable silence during the take off.

-What a vacation, I say and lean on Alvin.

-Yeah, you could say that... Alvin says and I sigh.

-I don't know if I had gotten by it without you, Alvin says and I look at him. He smirks and I sit up.

-Alvin... I ask and he nods.

-Do you love me? Because you never once have said it, I say and Alvin looks shocked at me.

-Wha...? Of course I love you! Alvin says and I smile and lean on him again.

-Just wanted to know, I say slyly and Alvin looks at me.

-Ok, now I see how it is! He says and I sit up.

-What? I ask and he captures my lips into a cute kiss.

-You just wanted to hear 'I love you' from me, Alvin says and I giggle.

-Duh, I say and Alvin kisses the top of my head.

The rest of the flight Alvin tells fun stories, and before I know it I fall asleep.

I wake up from being carried. I open my eyes and see mom hold me gently.

-Good morning, I say and mom smiles.

-Good night, mom says and I look out of a window on the airport. It was dark out and the stars glimmered.

Me and mom got to stay at Dave's for the night before going home.

I get into the room, fully changed into my pajamas.

-Hey sleeping beauty, Alvin says and I smile.

-Hi, I say and sit next to him on his bed. Alvin drags me down so I lay with my head on his chest.

-I'm exhausted, I say and Alvin chuckles.

-You slept during the whole flight! He says.

-I know, I say and look around in the room. Everyone is doing their own thing. Jeanette was reading a book, Eleanor was fixing her stuffed animals and Brittany was fixing her nails.

-Look, Y/N... Alvin says and I look at him.

-I... I'm sorry for being such an ass sometimes... I just... feel the need to do everything! Alvin says and and I smile.

-Maybe... but you being an ass was one of the best things that will ever happen to us, I say.

-Really? Alvin asks, and I nod.

-Yeah... thanks to you we got even closer than before, I say and Alvin smiles and lays down. Then mom and Dave comes in.

-Goodnight! Mom says and we all say 'night!

-Free day tomorrow! Dave says and turns the light off. Alvin used to turn on the light again, but he listened and stayed down.

-Good boy, I say after the adults walked out. Alvin chuckles and puts his arms around me.

-hmmm, Alvin says and I giggle and kiss his nose. Then I put my forehead against his and fall asleep.
