Third person POV

Somewhere on the streets of London, a little orphan boy stands in a alley, watching people go by, just like everyday. But today was no ordinary day. A young woman by the name Mina Harker was out today, and she was watched by more than the little boy.

Mina walked around with a small smile on her face. Y/N thought that she looked like an angel with her green dress hugging her waist and a small hat adorning her hair. Before the little boy knew it he saw that a man ran past the woman and took her purse. Y/N's eyes widened as he saw that the man ran very close to the alley. Y/N put out a leg and the man tripped over the boys leg and dropped the purse. The boy took the purse and the man continued to run in fear of being caught. Suddenly the woman comes running towards the boy and she looks down at him. She sees him hold the purse and look up in awe at her. She smiles and crouches down.

-Hello there little one, she says sweetly.

-H-hi, the boy stuttered and reached out the bag towards her.

-I think this is yours, he says and the woman gratefully takes it. She smiled and put one of her gloved hands on the small boys cheek.

-What is your name little one? The woman asked.

-Y/N, answered shyly.

-Hello Y/N... My name is Mina Harker, the woman says and looks at the boy. She looks at the boys shredded, dirty clothes.

-Where do you come from? Mina asks Y/N.

-I don't remember... all I know was that my parents left me, Y/N says.

They stand quiet before Y/N decide to speak up.

-You are the prettiest woman I've ever met, he said, earning a small smile from Mina.

-Thank you, she says and kisses the boys small cheek.

The boy starts walking away, not wanting to get his hopes up.

-Wait, Mina calls out after him. Y/N stops and turns around. Mina is holding her arms out for him. Y/N smiled and runs into her arms.

Mina picks up the small boy and puts him on her hip. The small boy has his legs around Minas hips and his arms was around her neck. Mina watched the face of the happy little boy and kissed him many, many times on his cheek, before hugging him.

-Let's go home, shall we? Mina asks Y/N, who nods excitedly. She adored the boys happiness.

They got to her house and she changed his clothes and gave him a bath.

When he was done Mina picked him up under the arms and held him there.

-Cute, she said and kissed his cheek and hugged him once again.

Mina took him by the hand and continued her shopping out on the street. The boy pointed everywhere in awe.

When they got home it was time for bed.

They both slept peacefully, until Y/N heard a window break. He sat right up and looked out of his room. A man sneaks through the hall towards Minas room. Y/N did not know what was happening to him, but he felt a desire to get him away. He sneaked after and saw that the man had raised a knife towards Mina where she was sleeping so peacefully. Y/N jumped towards the man and harshly bit him on the neck. The man shouted and dropped the knife. Mina woke up and saw the scene. The man suddenly fell limp towards the floor. Y/N stopped biting and saw blood run from the mans neck. He put a finger on one of his teeth. The tooth was pointy like a needle. He began crying. Mina called the police and then she embraced the boy.

-No! Leave me alone! I could hurt you! He shouted at her and hid.

Mina still embraced the boy.

-I won't leave you... she says and suddenly someone knocks on the door.

She answered and it was the police.

Mina told the police that the man had tried to kill her, but that her son had managed to get him away, and he somehow died.

The police takes the man away and it is quiet once again.

-Come. Let's go back to sleep, Mina says and reaches for the boys hand.

-No, he says. Mina crouches down.

-Don't you trust me anymore? She asks and Y/N shakes his head.

-You shouldn't trust me, he says.

-Of course I trust you... you don't need to do this alone, she says and the boy looks at her.

-If you wanted to kill me you would've done that a long time ago, Mina says and reaches out her hand once again. Y/N hesitated at first, but then grabs it. Mina takes Y/N into her room and cuddles him until they are both sleeping.
