《The Bookstore》Chapter 6

It had been about a month since Katsuki had spoken to Izuku last.
Izuku ended blocking Shindou after he tried to apologize for ditching him, he knew that he just didn't want to be seen around a quirkless person.
But Izuku didn't care anymore.
Izuku had a big smile as he strolled along the street, it was big enough to blind everyone he passed.
Izuku was so excited, he finally had earned enough money to get hearing aids and now he could have a real conversation with people.
Izuku knew his mom couldn't afford hearing aids when he was younger.
Inko being a single mom was the only one working so they had barely enough money to get by.
It wasn't much of a deal because Izuku planned on getting his own job and paying for them himself.
Slamming open the door of his dorm room he saw Akio flinch because of the loud noise.
"What the hell?" he shouts, "Oh it's just you Izuku, I thought someone was going to kill me."
"Why are you so happy anyway? I've never seen you this happy before," Akio states.
"Well dipshit I got hearing aids," Izuku says still smiling.
"Woah, it's weird hearing you speak other than you yelling 'fuck' whenever you stub your toe on the side of the chair," Akio jokes.
"Yeah, anyway with these hearing aids I can have a decent conversation with people now," Izuku says.
"I'm going to have to get use to it," Akio says.
"What's even better is now I don't have to yelp every time someone sneaks up behind me to ask for my help at the bookstore," just the thought of not having a heart attack every time someone taps his shoulder just makes him even happier.

"I should tell Kirishima!" Izuku says happily.
Izuku and Kirishima's friendship has gotten better over the month, they usually get coffee every Wednesday and Saturday and it's usually Izuku listening to Kirishima bitch about his relationship with Kaminari and how they hadn't talked since they hooked up that one night.
"Alright I'm gonna go meet up with Kirishima, you want something at the coffee shop?" Izuku asks Akio.
Akio looks up from his phone and says "Yeah can you get me cinnamon roll?"
"Yeah alright," Izuku says slipping his shoes back on.
When he arrived at the coffee shop he saw that Kirishima was already inside waiting for him.
Kirishima was sipping on his drink like always scrolling through Instagram.
He looks up to see Izuku with his hair down and a purple scarf wrapped around his neck, his nose was red from the cold and his hands where in the pockets of the sweater.
"Hey Izu!" Kirishima greets him with a warm smile.
"Hey Kirishima," He greets back.
Kirishima stopped for a second, he had never heard him speak before and he was kind of confused.
"Oh yeah, I just got hearing aids, isn't that exciting?" Izuku says happily tucking his green hair behind his ear.
"Wow Izuku that's cool," Kirishima cheers, "So does that mean you can hear me now?"
"Well not exactly, the hearing aids allows sound and speech to be processed and sent to the brain," Izuku explains.
Kirishima nods and gets up, he get's up and pulls the chair out and jokingly says "Milady."
"Thanks," Izuku says taking the seat.
Izuku just now noticed the extra drink inside of Kirishima's hands.
"Here, I got this for you, we've been here enough times that I know your order," Kirishima says handing the cup to Izuku.

He takes the cup with a 'thanks' and they start talking about what they usually do.
"So have you talk to Kaminari lately?"
"Yeah actually, I have,"
"Really, wait did you talk to him or did he talk to you?"
"Well it was more of we had a mission together and that we were forced to talk,"
"Oh I see."
"So did you guys bring up about what happened that night?"
"Yeah he brought it up..." Kirishima had a kind of hurt look inside of his eyes.
"Hey, it's ok, if you don't want to talk about it, it's cool,"
"No, it's not that I don't want to talk about it, in fact I'm really glad that you're here so I can talk about it to someone."
"Ok, then continue,"
"Ok so what happened is Kaminari said that he regrets what happened and said that we should just forget that it had even happen,"
Izuku was going to end the pro hero Chargebolt.

Katsuki had spent the last month coming up with a plan to see Izuku again.
It wasn't that good but he had something.
What he was going to go to the bookstore and ask Izuku to help hi find a specific book.
The catch was that the book doesn't actually exist.
He was going to ask specific things that the "book" contains and make Izuku try to find it.
He's would have to be there for a long time trying to figure out which book it is and then Katsuki was going to try to start a conversation.
And yes, this is what the great Katsuki Bakugou could come up with in a month.
He knew the plan sucked but he was kind of desperate, well he wouldn't say that out loud, but he wanted to at least find the right time to apologize to him.
Some part of Katsuki really wanted this stupid plan to work because he didn't want Deku to hate him more than he already does.
Katsuki didn't want to wear something too fancy so he decided to act as if he was going on a run or something.
He grabbed a wife beater and a pair of sweatpants and put them on.
He sprayed a little bit of cologne, only a little bit, only enough for when someone isclose enough they could smell it.
He grabs some shoes and puts them on, stretches and opens the door.
What he wasn't expecting was Denki Kaminari right outside of his door looking as if he was going knock.
For some reason Kaminari had red puffy eyes as if he had been crying .
"What are you doing here?" Katsuki asks.
"Can I come in?" He asks.
"Yeah and you better explain why you look like that,"
"Thank you," He says walking into the apartment.
I guess bothering Deku will have to wait.
