《Seven Facts Of A Hunter》Chapter 31

Dean had gotten bored and left the bunker to get some food, meaning you and Sam were all alone. His laptop glowed brightly as he investigated the internet, and you concentrated on skimming through local news on the tablet Bobby gave you. Sam's eyes darted back and forth on the screen, reading carefully, before sliding to the sides to glance over at you. You were able to ignore him, at least until he grabbed the chair and moved you closer, causing you to squeal. He smirked and kissed you before turning back to his work. You crook your eyebrow and turn back to your electronic only to be confronted by something interesting.

"Hey Sammy, check this out." You hand him the tablet, allowing him to read.

The door to the bunker creaked open, revealing Dean carrying two bags filled with food from the local dinner "What I miss?" He asked, kicking the door closed.

"(Y/N) may have just found us a case." Sam didn't look up, but scrolled through the article more.

"What we got?" Dean asked, setting the bags on the table.

"So get this," you chuckle quietly at his typical intro to a monolog about a potential case "Three people from this town have gone missing. No one had seen anything until this last girl disappeared, her roomate had seen her leave and was confused so she followed her thinking since she was being ignored that her friend was sleep-walking. Of course being the great friend she is (sarcasm) she decided to follow her to see what happened instead of stopping her."

"So she ended up following her to a cave in the middle of the forest." You continue, making him stop for your turn "When she went inside, she saw the other two people acting just as sleepwalkerish as her friend and walked in to stop her friend, only to be hit with something and blacking out. Next thing she knew she was on the side of the road being picked up by an ambulance."

"Let me guess, the police couldn't find this suposed cave and dropped the case?" Dean asked, pulling out the food and passing it out.

Sam gladly took his salad as you took your hamburger and Dean his burger and pie "You're right on all accounts except for one thing, the case is still ongoing, just not as high on the list of importance. It would be the perfect case for F.B.I. to investigate no?" You question, opening the box only to be hammered by the intence smell of some of your favorite foods.

"What do you think it is?" Dean asks, looking between you and Sam.

"No idea, djin maybe? Maybe a shifter? There isn't much to go one but we definitely need to check it out." Sam answers with a sigh.

"Well, once we get done eating we can go check this out. Where is this anyway?" Dean asks, taking a large bite of his food.

Sam and you look at each other before turning to Dean, where you reply "Let me look." Sam hands you the tablet, so you scroll around the page to find a location and look surprised when you find it "Ah, okay. It's in South Dakota, a town on west river. Hot springs." You answer.

"What do you mean by West river?" Sam asks, collecting a clump of lettuce on his fork.

"It's a term South Dakotans use. There is a river that flows right smack through the center of the state. The river is also part of seperating the time zones, but that's not all. On East river we have more crops and agriculture, while on west river it's more cattle ranching and tourism. Since they have Mount Rushmore and CrazyHorse memorial up there." Ignoring the looks of confusion they gave you, you bit into your burger and continued "Though both of those will be more towards Custer, which would be almost 60 miles away, I don't see why we can't stop by and take a look."

"So the river divides you guys?" Dean asks.

"Basically. Anyway we should probably figure out what the hell this thing is before rushing in guns blazing."

Dean stands, his containers in hand "You two have fun with that. If you need me I'll be living a real life, and having sex with women." He waved with his free hand and turned.

"Excuse me?" You ask slightly offended.

"It's called going outside, learn it." He called over his shoulder as he climbed the stairs.

"Screw you!" You called, only to get a chuckke and wave before he closed the door.

"Well, now the fun part." He sighed sarcastically.

You try to hide your smirk "It doesn't have to be." He looks up at you and smiled seductively.
