《Seven Facts Of A Hunter》Chapter 2

You wake up in a cold sweat, your face covered in the liquid. Springing up, you hyperventilate and stare directly in front of you wide eyed. Sam feels the sudden movement and wakes up to see you shaking.
He sets his his hand on your shoulder which makes you jump and look at him. Sitting up next to you, he gives you a concerned look. You begin to cry, and start shaking your head. Pulling you into a tight hug, he pets your hair and chants softly.
"Your alright now, nothing is going to hurt you. I wont let anything hurt you. Your okay, it was just a dream."
"I-I wish! She died right in front of me!"
Your tears fell even faster as Sam held you tightly, wispering words of comfort. His large figure practically swallowed you. In his warmth, you found comfort and a sense of protection, like he wanted to protect you from the world itself.
After what seemed like hours, Sam released you, giving you a concerned look. You nod and smile thankfully as you move a strand of hair behind your ear. He runs his hand through his hair and gives you a nervous smile.
After one last hug, you both lay back down, this time you snuggle your head into his chest and he wraps his arm around your back protectively.
You had never really told Sam and/or Dean about your past. All they knew was that a demon killed your mother, and you lived with Bobby for 8 years before joining them. You neglected to tell them because you felt that if they knew they might treat you differently.
You liked the way they treated you, like a best friend they could rely on, and not some poor injured puppy that had to be protected at all times (though god knows they've tried).

You wake to a sleepy Sam and an already dressed laughing Dean arguing.
"Woohoo Sammy's gonna get some!" Dean teased.
Sam glared at Dean from where he sat "It's not like that you jerk."
Dean laughed "Well then excuse me for observing my brother who looked pretty content snuggled up next to (Y/N)." He points at you.
You groggily sit up and rub your eye "I had a nightmare you ass."
He laughs "Yea, I'm sure being stuck sleeping with him is a nightmare."
You and Sam both throw on the strongest bitchfaces you have ever made and aim them directly at Dean. He begins to walk backwsrds towards the door, jacket in hand, and makes a heart with his hands, mouthing the words 'made for each other.' You and Sam look at each other and sigh.
"How's your ankle?" He asks, as he stands and Dean leaves.
"Better now. I don't like the idea of staying behind, but to be honest it may be the best thing right now." He slides on a v-neck, then puts one of his plaid shirts on over it.
"Though i guess we've got the bunker for you to stay at... I really just wish I could have been there to-" you cut him off and look into his big, puppy dog eyes.
"I'm fine Sam, all I need is for you to be safe and give me someone to talk to besides the idiot out getting us drinks."
He laughs "Alright, but until we find another case I'm not leaving your side." You try to hide your smile.
"Deal, now hand me my clothes would ya?" He grabs your bag and sets it next to you.
You begin to dig through it as he grabs his toothbrush and heads to the bathroom. You follow him with your eyes and wait until he is out of sight. Grabbing the bottom of your shirt, you slide it over your head, revealing your bra. You take your t-shirt and slide it on, only to see that as you put your shirt on, Sam is watching you in the mirror's reflection.

Balling up your pajama shirt, you throw it at him "Quit peaking!"
Laughing, he catches the shirt "First of all, your the one that wanted to change in the open. Second, I'm keeping this." He holds up the projectile.
"No way give it back!" You whine.
He takes it and puts it in his bag zipping it shut. You frown as Dean comes back in, coffee in hand.
"We ready?" He asks, closing the door.
"As I'll ever be." You sigh and take your drink.
You never have been the biggest fan of coffee, so they always bring you hot chocolate. Dean grabs your bag as Sam hold his hand out to help you. You try to stand, but are denied when Sam sweeps you into his arms, carrying you bridal style.
"Can't let you walk on an injured leg." He smirks.
You squeak slightly from the sudden movement "Ack! A little warning next time! Anymore scares and I'll have a heart attack!"
Dean opens the door and steps aside with a slight frown "I could have done that."
Sam walks you over to the impala and slides you into the backseat while Dean goes into the office to return the key "Make sure to keep it elevated."
"Right away doctor sexy." You wink and internally laugh at the reference.
He teases back by throwing his hair around and making a funny face. You both burst out laughing and continue giggling until Dean comes back.
"You two sound like school girls."
"If we're school girls, then your the punk-ass playboy that slept with every girl in your grade." You reply with a chuckle.
"Toché." He smirks, turning on the radio.
Blarring from the radio is Walk This Way by Aerosmith, which you and Dean both start screaming along to as he began the long drive back to kansas.

A long one just for you guys! Sorry it was kind of uneventfull, but we got to see you and Sam getting closer. See ya tomorrow!

Heart of the World (LitRPG)
This is the story of how I stabbed a bear. Well... technically speaking, that became the moment my life went into a vastly different direction, all on my way to 'The Mission'. The one I had been given alongside two other seasoned players. To help people in a world with a world. But, oh hoh, that bear... Don't get me started on that. So, apart from that, here is the gist of the other part. I'm a year long employee. Though, several years before I became an employee of theirs, this crazy ensuing madness of a Full Dive battle royale between even more companies started to boil over to a breaking point. Mine thought to search for something that would truly blow the competition out of the water. Well, they found it. Deep under the sea actually. They called it a game changer. Rumors abounded of course. But the most common knowledge became that it was a power source unlike the world had ever seen. However, I can tell you now, the unknown sometimes bump back. Especially when experimenting on highly unknown elements. Still, years safely went by and thus I became a developer there. Now, what does any of this got to do with stabbing a bear? Well, ask them that! They started it all. I'm new remember! Though, chaos ensued, and well, I was there. It probably helped that I had proven myself a good fighter in game and that I had some knowledge that could help with the triplets. Oh, but my sister would box my ears if she ever realized how little time I spent learning what the other developers created in the game before I had to go in there on, 'The Mission.' So, this is a story of a mission to save the people in Realm of Ancients. Not those rookies! Oh no, that was just a precurser. AND THERE WAS THE BEAR! Sorry, I had trouble getting over it. But that specific moment changed things. -- -- Hi! This is a project I have started for the fun. This is not your typical comedy. Yes, I added quite a bit humour to the story, BUT as things go into the eye of the storm the character will face challenges that hits him down. So it is not comedy in every chapter. But what do they say, when you've hit bottom, only way to go is up! :D I am always open to suggestions that might take the story to new heights, so you all are welcome to discuss the story in the comments. Just remember the all important SPOILER tags. ;) -Omri - I'd truly appreciate if you rate the story and leave reviews as we go. ;)

Glass Cannon
Mortal Coil is the best VRMMO in the market with millions of people playing it! In this game, two best friends made a bet with each other. Whoever becomes the #1 ranked would win. Such a simple bet, but to them, it was like a declaration of war. Being two of the most stubborn individuals on the planet that saw loss as a personal offense, they made this last bet before cutting off their friendship due to some... complicated matters(Don't worry It'll get explained in the book). The problem was, that one was super talented at the game, and the other was super shit. This story revolves around that player. No, not the talented one, the shit one. Hated by many for his rather "uncouth" strategies (one of which included hitting a guy in the back of the head with a wooden board, stealing all his stuff and leaving him stark naked in the middle of the woods), his name is Jack. Oh, and did I mention he's a min-Maxed for health which drives people insane? Unfortunately, as luck would have it, he stumbles upon the worst possible hidden class for him. Warrior of Glass. A class with insanely high attack power... and insanely low HP. He's also given a quest to retrieve a sword in the middle of the Ashen Forest (lovingly nicknamed "Suicide Woods" by the players) and another quest to kill 7 insanely powerful demon lords that roam the lands so he can fulfill his predecessor's legacy. Now, armed only with a veeery high damage output, an unbendable will of steel and his almost nonexistent sense of guilt (emphasis on almost), he still aims to become the #1 player. This time, with some serious handicaps.

The Mentor
This one is for my daughter. She talked me into it (again) and it is her favorite genre of books. So, Bet, this one is for you. The true-bloods, the masters, they came first. That was hammered into Heath's head since he could walk with both words and fists by Karen. As a guardian and half-blood bastard of his vampire father, he would never know peace. His duty as a dhampir, his duty was clear, his fate sealed. Heath was to serve Gerald, an aging Vampire Lord, one who was of pure blood, born to the race, until Heath outlived his prime and then he would pass on the knowledge that was passed to him onto a new bastard to carry protecting the bloodline. But was it necessarily his fate? Could a sterile half breed such as himself, someone who did not exist in the human world, live anywhere in the world on the light? After a particularly nasty encounter with his Mentor, Heath is on the run. Set on not becoming the new guardian and knowing that decision has now marked him for death. The hunt is on and somewhere behind him is Joshua, the heir of his Master, and the thing that plagues his nightmare, his Mentor Karen.
