Both Lily and Tanya were happily talking in a cute cafe that was discovered by Tanya herself. Since Lily had been absent from work for over a month, Tanya realised how empty the company was without her. It was like she was the missing piece.

Since Tanya was at the main door, she could feel the vibe from all the employees, you know... the determined, the stressed, the overworked, the breadwinner, the one who just wanted the day to end... she encountered them all never had she encountered Noah at his worst.

For Noah, Tanya was one of the longest employees he had. So, for her, she knew Noah to the full extend however, that didn't mean she knew everything. She knew to an extend on how much Lily effected and impacted on Noah.

I mean... she had seen it the very first day when she, literally, fell into his arms. She saw a twist of fate and hope in his eyes despite being a distance away. But since she had left the company in tears, she saw a new side to Noah.

Never had she seen the side of Noah to the point where he would come drunk to work. Never had seen the side of Noah to the point where he was absent from work. Never had she seen the side of Noah to the point where his own brother had to step in.

For Tanya, Noah was someone who would not be swayed or have feelings for a female. Sure he had Stephanie but she was more of a fuck buddy. I mean... come on, lads had to be laid and clearly Stephanie had that job spec specifically for it...

For Lily, she didn't go back to work for Noah but rather for the others like Daisy, Ed, Luke and Tanya. She knew that they all had a special place in her heart so she went for the sake of them even Luke and Ed who drove her mental with their antics.

Lily tried her best to keep emotions away at work but deep down she knew it was impossible. The same went for Noah. Now that Lily had been at work, he promised himself that no more goodbyes were going to happen. He was determined for it.

He too found it impossible to mask his emotions, he knew that they both were the talk of the company but it didn't bother him, instead, he felt somewhat proud. He felt like that because he didn't have to announce it, they gradually found out and knew.

Both Lily and Tanya had paid for their food and were heading out. They had walked and talked until they came to the crossing that led them to the main double, glass doors before two handsome men approached them. Tanya gleamed at the sight of them before hugging them.

It took Lily by surprise as they both gave a hearty chuckle whilst they each took turns to hug her. Seconds ticked when Lily began to feel a little out of place, having a sense of deja-vu of being third wheel. They all broke apart and all turned to face me,

"Oh my manners! Sorry Lils! That was my fault. I want you to meet Cody and Dylan. Cody is the slightly taller dude"

Lily gave the men a soft smile and a nod in appreciation. Anyone from afar would be able to tell that they were undeniably handsome. With their raven black hair pushed back, perfected jawline and baby brown eyes, she knew these men were the real deal.

They both eyed Lily before they suddenly pulling her into a random hug taking her surprise. She gave Tanya a look as she just looked back with a look that said that it was fine. Not having any excuse to comment, she gave them a hug before they both pulled back.

As they both pulled back, Dylan took a step forward and gave her a single kiss on her cheek. Lily leaned back from him, her hand going to where his lips touched her skin. He too took a step back and used his thumb to rub his lower lip before he spoke,

"Sorry, I've got a bad habit of doing that. I hope I didn't offend you did I?"

Lily had lost her words. She couldn't say anything as her mind became a blank canvas. She merely shook her head, her mind trying to keep up. Dylan looked at both Cody and Tanya before he shrugged his shoulders.

She blinked once. Blinked twice. Three times still not being able to accept what had just happened. In her mind, Lily knew that if she didn't have Noah in her life she would've fallen heads over heels for him but for her, Noah was all that was on her mind.

"Cody, Dylan meet the famous Lily"

"What?! Oh my god! You're Lily?"

At their shocked responses she gave them a nervous chuckle whilst she rubbed the back of her neck,

"I guess..."

"Are you not sure of yourself as a person?"

Lily gave them a look before Dylan added on,

"You sounded not sure of yourself"

"Oh, sorry. I am Lily. I was just thinking if Tan said good things..."

Lily responded before her sentence trailed off as she narrowed her eyes at her. Both Dylan and Cody merely chuckled as they both placed a hand on each of her shoulder before they spoke simultaneously,

"Trust us, it's more than good"

They then turned to give each other a look before they spoke one after the other,

"It was a fucking-"

"- blockbuster film starring with the man himself; Mr Noah King"

Lily's eyes widened a little at their sentences before felt herself burn up. She then found herself laughing at how ridiculous situation was. Two men that she hardly knew, strangers, already knew about the crucial information before she could utter another single word.

Within the situation, she found her eyes shift over to Tanya as she merely shrugged her shoulders innocently. Her lips was fighting to hide the smirk that was trying to show. She simply mouthed,

"I'm sorry"

Lily crossed her legs on the spot and played continuously with her fingers as she bit her lower lip before her eyes began to wonder. Her eyes looked around where they were. Open to the public. Her eyes focused from building to building before her eyes laid on the building in front of her;

King Enterprise

Even though I was across the building, I was still able to see the inside. I saw a few staff walk in and out, some enter the lift and a few hold a talk whilst holding pieces of paper in their hands. From what I could see from afar, I saw a female who gave weird vibes...

I couldn't see her properly since she was just out of frame but I could quickly take in what she was wearing from behind. She wore black, hugged trousers which defined her toned legs. She also wore a pastel pink top which that too, I could tell already hugged her upper half.

I bit my lip as she left from sight. I turned to face Tanya and the boys as I spoke in a rushed tone,

"Guys, I don't want to sound like the bad person, but I really should get back to work. I've been out long enough"

Tanya wined at my words as she held onto my wrist,

"Aw come on Lil! The coffee shop is just there! We'll even sit by the window just in case we see the boss himself. I heard Ed say he went out for lunch with someone"

I shake my head, denying the offer,

"Sorry babe, but work calls me"

"Don't you mean your babe calls?"

Cody said in a playful manner. I look at him as I give him a smile before answering,

"No Cody. There's nothing going on between us. Whatever we had has ended, we're on business terms. You know; boss and assistant, employer and employee"

Dylan rolled his eyes as he placed a hand over Cody's shoulder,

"Rightt, business terms. Next thing you know you're fucking each other behind closed doors"

Not wanting to long out the I just let out a long sigh making both boys to place a hand on their chests as if they were hurt by my lack of words. I give my attention to Tanya having the last say,

"I'm gonna go Tan, I have loads of things left to do and I don't wanna stay overtime"

Lie. I spoke quickly, not giving her a chance to speak I begin to walk away as I wave. The boys who stood next to Tanya pouted as massively as they could trying to get my attention so to not upset them, I playfully turned around, still walking, and waved frantically at them.

Their massive pouts then turned into a deep laughter as they waved back, imaginary kisses followed shortly. I sucked my lips in as I tried to keep in my laughter but I found it hard too as they looked simply retarded and stupid.

I turned back around and began crossing the road. A few steps later I walked into the building of King Enterprise. I looked at everyone, flashing them a smile, they too gave one back. I walked to the lift, pressing the open button.

It took a minute or two for the doors to open. I step inside and press the top floor. The doors close and I scroll through my phone quickly checking any new mails. I come to see a few new mails and begin to respond back.

By the time I finished emailing I had reached the floor. I step out coming to see Daisy look my way. We both smile at each other as I walked up to her. I opened my mouth to say something but she beats me to it,

"Lily I just want you to go work"

I give her a confused look as I try to speak but she cuts me off,

"It's for the best right now. Mr King seems angry right now. I just heard him throw something at the wall"

Waveringly I look at his closed door, the silence filling the air. I held my breath like I was waiting for him to explode once more but nothing happened. I faced back to Daisy as I questioned,

"I didn't make any mistakes did I?"

Daisy shrugged her shoulders before she spoke in a hushed voice,

"Seriously Lil, I mean it"

Not asking anything else, I scurry off to my office; closing the door as silently as I could. I sat down on my chair before working on the file that I had left. My mind switched to work mode, my attention solely on work.

I must've been working for an hour or so before my office phone rang from Noah. He had asked me to come into his office. Finishing off the last edit for the file, I sent the file to Luke before I pushed back my chair standing up. I stretched before I made ways to his office.

As I left my office, I was met with an empty hallway. I hesitantly walk over to his door and knock. I waiting for a few seconds before I heard an annoyed 'come in' I carefully opened the door and stepped in with my eyes trained on the door.

Once I was fully in and the door was closed, I raised my eyes to where Noah would normally be sat. Behind his desk. I saw him sat there effortlessly even though he was pissed. I did however also feel another presence in the door and I turned to his sofa.

My heart slowed down. My blood turned cold. Sat on the sofa was indeed a presence of someone but never and I mean never had I expected Stephanie to be sat there. That's when it clicked. She was the same person who I saw from outside the company.

Black, hugged trousers and the pastel pink top.

It was Stephanie.
