Third person pov

Frantic running could be heard from every part of the hospital. A young man, maybe in his teen years still was seen running up to the receptionist, heavily breathing.

"Where is Anna Sta- I mean Anna Hammer?!"

Getting the room number was easy, reaching there on time was not. The elevator had broken down just minutes before, and the room was at the top most level, as was requested by Anna Hammers parents and the current running man. But with all the obstacles he finally reached his destination, Room 212.

He was still heaving erratically, when he pushed the door open slightly. Inside he could see a couple with grey hair , holding a pink bundle. His eyes widened as he searched the room for another female.

His sister. The one who is - was - pregnant.

The new grandmother noticed her other child at the door, and silently motioned him in, as the baby was asleep. He took slow steps towards the grandmother and child as he came up to them.

"Thankfully you are on time for today son."

The dry words were spoken with rare affection by the boy's father, Howard Stark, who usually was as strict a parent can be to their child, but melted today by seeing his newborn granddaughter. His usually sour attitude towards his son, was dulled by the presence of his new family member.

"Would you like to hold her dear, your niece?" The new grandmother , Maria Stark, asked her son.

Tony's eyes widened in alarm, but he numbly nodded, as he took the baby girl in his inexperienced hands. Inside the small bundle, he could see a small girl. The same shade of brown hair which both the Stark kids acquired from their dad, and the delicate nose and chin of the baby's mother. Suddenly the baby yawned a bit and opened her eyes. Panic settled in Tony as he thought he woke her up. As she opened her eyes, he could see the bright blue eyes she got from her father.

All in all she looked just like her mother, Anna Hammer , who is Tony Stark's elder sister .

"Are you going to hog her all to yourself?" A feeble yet authoritative voice of the new mother asked her brother.

Tony rapidly blinked as he slowly looked from the baby to the new mother.

"S-she looks just like you." He said, still in shock that he was now an uncle.

A new hand clapped him on the back. " Hope she isn't as much of a handful her mother is."

A smile graced Tony's lip as he looked at the new father Connor Hammer, the baby's father and his brother in-law.

He gave the baby to the new father as he went to his sisters side.

"You did good today sweetheart." Today, no sarcastic remarks were passed, no snide or rude looks and comments were given. As the world welcomed young Sofia Hammer, granddaughter of Howard Stark in the world, the whole Stark-Hammer family was happy, and all was good for once.
