close death???(not really), just a lil bit of angst, 1 curse word
This imagine is short and sweet :))
"Gilbert would you just look at it!" You exclaim.
The smell of salt and sand filled the air, and the wind was blowing lightly through your hair.
Gilbert smiles at you loving the happiness this is bringing you.
"I'm looking, it's beautiful isn't it," he says.
"Beautiful is an understatement."
You set the blanket on the beach, then Gilbert sets the basket on top.
"I brought just about every food you like," he says with a proud smile on his face.
"Aren't you a gentlemen," you say, causing Gilbert to blush.
You start to remove your shoes, and Gilbert thinks nothing of it. But as you begin to remove your dress Gilbert becomes completely confused.
"Um (Y/N), what are you doing?" He asks.
You stop once you're to your last layer, "what does it look like I'm doing, Blythe?"
He just stays looking at you, stunned. The last thing he thought you'd do and begin taking your clothes off.
"I'm gonna go swimming," you say with a giggle.
You run towards the ocean, your arms in the air.

The water is cold, but it still feels good. You feel a few fish brush against your legs and you can't help but giggle at the feeling. Gilbert watches you from the shore, a sweet smile adoring his face.
You go out further and further, not paying much mind to what you're doing. You jump up in the water for the fun of it, and let your body go under.
That was a mistake.
The bottom of the ocean seemed to be further away than you plannned, and you have no idea how to swim.
But it wasn't long until arms are wrapped around your waist and pulling you up. You gasp for air, and the first thing you see when you open your eyes is Gilbert's terrified expression.
"You scared the hell out of me (Y/N)! What were you thinking?" His serious face always makes you laugh.
So here you are being held by Gilbert Blythe in the ocean, waves pushing against you, and you're laughing. Gilbert should get mad that you find this situation funny, but no. He's laughing as well, you laughter is always something that gets to him.
"Did I give you a heart attack Mr Blythe? Awe, were you scared?" You begin to tease him, which only makes your laughing increase more.
He rolls his eyes, "don't get so cocky."
You two make your way back to shore and sit down in the blanket.
"Why didn't you get mad when I started laughing? You seemed pretty concerned." Gilbert looks at you with sparkling eyes, then a smile.
"Because, you look too pretty when you laugh for me to get mad."
His words immediately make you blush.
"You don't look to bad yourself Blythe."

The Coach's Daughter
In a town where the high school football team rules the school, Amelia is just another face in the crowd. Sure, her dad is the football coach but Amelia's idea of "Friday night lights" revolves around studying until lights are out. Trying to impress her father who only knows football and her mother's high expectations, Amelia puts her head down and tries her best to satisfy them. After accidentally ending up at a party one night (without her mother's permission of course), Amelia finds herself thrown into the world of the infuriatingly gorgeous yet arrogant Zack Darrington.Zack was never part of a crowd. He's king of the city: the best running back in the state- if not the entire country. Flirtatious, cocky, and a skilled player in all senses, Amelia is not the type of girl he typically surrounds himself with.Everyone knows Zack Darrington. No one knows Amelia Hayes. Football is his world while she wishes it wasn't a part of hers. At first glance, these two couldn't be more different but deep down, they may be more similar than they think.Highest Rankings:#1 in Fiction #10 in Teen Fiction#3 in Sports#10 in DramaBook 1 in THE COACH'S DAUGHTER trilogyCan be read as a standaloneBook 2 OUT NOW

In a world where every man, woman, and child has powers of some sort, there is only one ability that is feared above all else. Precognition. Follow Ryan, a false precognitive as he works to join the Power Regulation Agency, the premier organization in charge of categorizing and managing dangerous abilities. Along the way, he will have to face criminals and murderers of the worst sort, while enduring the scorn of his peers and coworkers, as he struggles to overcome the stigma of his own abilities and do something to improve the world. 8 122Reincarnated as a Warlock with zero skill
My previous life was just as boring as yours. I was a marketing manager for a flooring company. The biggest challenge? Would the latest colour be called "Grey Oak" or "Oak Grey". Then, tragedy. I was struck down in the prime of my life by a negligent delivery driver and a pallet of laminate flooring - which is significantly heavier than you think. So there I was, smeared on the floor, absorbed in my own self pity. Where would I go? Heaven? Hell. Did I care? Apparently that was not what fate had in store for me. Reborn in a world of dragons and fantasy, I became a Warlock. A pretty darn important one too. The problem, I had little to no affinity to magic and I spent most of my time doing my best to avoid danger. Danger however, would not avoid me. So, with my new life as an amazing Warlock you'd think it would be easy street right? Wrong. Forces gather to move against the Kingdom I am sworn to protect and, whilst my inward allegiance is to whomever is the victor, outwardly I must lead the resistance against the invaders. With my skilled companions Asha - a mage that can actually do magic and Torg - a swordsman sworn to protect me, I can only hope that they distract the enemy long enough for me to run away.

I use this page to try out new ideas, methods, and techniques. I'm in a short story challenge with a friend to write 1 a week based on the same prompt, so there will be weekly updates to this page. I have a lot of ideas for stories jotted down in a notepad, so this gives me an excuse to quit sitting around and actually write these. If you like what you read, 5 stars would be greatly appreciated. Follow or Favorite for the heads up on new WEEKLY chapters.
