Gilbert and I go to school. When we arrive we take our seats. It was just like every normal day until I caught Mr.Philips proposing to Prissy. I ran to the girls and told them all about it. "Mr.Philips proposed to Prissy!" Diana said quietly. "Yeah I saw them in the back of the classroom." I said. Then we all went home. Gilbert and I were eating and i decided to tell him about Prissy and Mr.Philips. "Hey Gilbert guess what." I asked. "What." he said, looking at me. "I saw Mr.Philips propose to Prissy." I said. "Really. Will Prissy still go to college?" he asked. "I don't know. Speaking of college where are you gonna go for college." I asked. He looked down. "It's umm pretty far from Avonlea." He said. I looked at him and back at my food. "Where?" I asked. "Um this place called Duke(made up place)." He said. "Thats so far." I said. "Yeah I know. So where are you going?" He asked. "I'm going to Paris because my mom wanted me to go there." I said. "Well we won't see each other for a very long time." He said. "We can write to each other. I mean 4 years isn't that long right." I said. "4 years is too long." He said putting his hand on my cheek. He kisses me on the cheek and we go to sleep. I couldn't sleep so i got out of bed. Let me tell you it wasn't easy because of Gilbert grip on my waist. I went to the porch to get some fresh air. I sat on the stairs and thought about Gilbert and I. How will we make it work if he's in Duke and I'm in Paris. Then i heard the door open and saw Gilbert. He sat down beside me and i put my head on his shoulder. "We'll make it work ok." Gilbert whispered. It started to rain so we go back to bed. I woke and kissed Gilbert on the forehead. I went downstairs and went to your parents grave. You sat down on the chair and stared at them. "Mom, Dad guess what? Gilbert back! and I'm going to college in Paris liked what you wanted mom. Also look, Gilbert gave me a promise ring." I said. Then i said my goodbyes and went home. You cooked breakfast and Gilbert came down. "Good morning." He said. We ate breakfast and went to school. "Hey babe you go ahead i have to do something." He says and kisses me on the forehead. "Ok?" I say and go to school. I take my seat and start drawing on my notebook. Then Billy grabbed my notebook. "Billy give it back." I say trying to get my notebook but i was too short. Then Cole got my notebook for Billy and gave it to me. "Here." he said. "Thank you." I said and went back to my seat. 

Gilbert POV (you didn't see this coming) I went back to the house the get the wedding ring for Y/n. I put it in my pocket and go to school. When i arrive I see Cole handing Y/n a notebook and they both smile at each other. I get jealous but I didn't want to say anything.
