It's been 3 months since Gilbert hasn't been to school. He is my best friend and i have spent the last months with the girls. They seem less mean than i thought they would be. But i would rather be with Gilbert. He stopped going to school when his father died. Anyways today is the first day of school after sem break so i got up and put on my dress and styled my hair.

I went downstairs and ate my toast and got my school supplies. I saw a blonde headed girl and hugged her in the back. She jumped a bit. When i saw her face she screamed my name. "Ruby i miss you!" I said. "Y/n! Hi, hows your set break." she said. "Fine." i said. Then we talked while we went to school. I took my seat which was beside Ruby. When i saw Dian come inside i ran and hugged her. We took our seats and waited for the teacher to come. I was drawing in my book when i heard the door open and close. I looked back and saw Gilbert and a red headed girl. I started to get sad so i looked back on my notebook. Everyone went to Gilbert to welcome him back except me. I can feel his eyes on me. But i just keep drawing.*After school* Finally school is done. Usually i walk home with Gilbert I'm too mad at him. I quickly grab my stuff and my hat. I look back and see the girls talking to Anne and Ruby crying. I guess they are telling her about the dibs. Then i feel someones hand on my shoulder. I look beside me and i see Gilbert. "Hi Y/n! I missed you." Gilbert said. I looked at him and continued walking. "Y/n what did i do wrong?!" he screamed. I heard his footsteps and i just kept walking. He kept trying to get my attention until we had to go to different paths. I went home and i felt tears go down my eyes so i ran to my room before anyone could see me. I stopped crying after i heard my mom saying she need help in the kitchen. I ate dinner and help clean the dishes. When i was done doing the dishes I heard a knock in the door. My mom tole me to get it so i opened the door. I saw Gilbert and my heart started to beat fast. But i stayed calm. "Yes Gilbert what do you want?" i say. "Well I came here to see you." He said smiling. "Well you see me now bye." i said trying to close the door but he pushed it back. "What did I do." he asked. "Nothing." i say. "Why are you acting like this." He asked. "Just leave me alone Gilbert." I say and got to close the door this time. "Who was that darling." my mom asked. "Just Diana. She gave me my book back." I said. I went to my room and thought about the red headed girl. I mean its not her fault that Gilbert likes her. After thinking about Gilbert i drifted into sleep.
