Sun's POV
I left the altar and went to do Mina's trial. In the process I met Hau again, who looked more determined than ever before.
Hau told me that I would be in for a shock our next battle, and I was ready to see him finally go all out.
I completed Mina's trial, going from trial captain to trial captain. Eventually leading up to a battle with Hapu for the Grand trial. After that, I went to Mount Lanakila as told by Kukui.
On the way I met Gladion, who challenged me to a battle. During the battle Gladion was different. He was no longer driven by a sense to of anger, or protection, but a drive to better himself. Gladion put up an amazing fight but in the end I still won. Gladion said things that stuck with me afterwards.
"Last time I saw Lillie, she was heading up to Mahalo Trail... It seemed like she had something on her mind. She's...she's gentle enough to be able to feel how much pain Pokémon go through. I guess that's a kind of strength, too." Gladion said, looking into the distance.
"You know, I tried battling Hau, too... He's really changed. I'm not surprised anymore that he managed to beat even Kahuna Hala... If you two are going to get even stronger, then I guess I can't let down my guard yet." Gladion smiled.
"I know we aren't friends. But we aren't enemies anymore either. Keep winning. Maybe I'll see you again if you do." Gladion said, smirking. He waved goodbye and walked off.
"Oh, and... Take care of Lillie for me. I know that's going to be one of your jobs soon, heh." Gladion said, turned away from me.
"S-Shut up..." I said, with my face flaring up. Gladion laughed.
"Take care, Sun." He said, before descending the mountain. Gladion was right. He wasn't my enemy anymore. He was more like a rival now, and I won't let him beat me.
Traversing the mountain, I stumbled upon a crater, which had Necrozma in the center, weakened.
I took this chance to battle it, catching it with a Pokeball. Colress was there to give me two items to help control Necrozma, and I continued along the mountain.
Eventually, I made it to a structure built into the mountain. Kukui showed up and explained the League to me in more detail. It sounded like he was excited for this. Incineroar shot itself out of it's Pokeball after he left. We both gave a nod in understanding of how we felt about the league. We were here to win, and that's exactly what we were going to do.
We went in, knocking out each of the Elite Four out, one by one. Some of them were familiar faces, some weren't. Finally I made it through all four of them and made my way up the staircase. At the top Kukui waited for me, and revealed it would be Hau to be the final challenge.
Hau and I began our battle, and he was tougher than before. A lot tougher. We battled back and fourth, it was so intense yet so fun.
After a long battle, finally we were both down to our last Pokemon. Starter versus starter, just like how it began. Hau used his Decidueye's signature Z-Move, Sinister Arrow Raid.
It landed on my Incineroar, but he still stood strong.
"Malicious Moonsault!" I said, with my glowing Z-Power Ring. The attack landed on Decidueye, and it stood there for a little bit before fainting. Hau stood there in awe. Hau wiped away some tears while congratulating me on becoming champion.

I registered my team into the Hall of Fame.
Incineroar. Lycanroc. Jolteon. Tsareena. Tentacruel. Mimikyu.
My trusty team had made it through thick and thin with me, and it's all finally paid off.
I had become the first Champion of Alola.
Everyone congratulated me as we headed back to Iki Town for a festival of celebration for the installment of the league, as well as my championship.
Everyone was there. Lana, Mallow, Kiawe, Sophocles, Ilima, Acerola, the Kahunas, even Lusamine, and more.
I looked around and noticed someone was missing, until they showed up, fashionably late with Hapu.
Lillie ran up with Hapu and her Mudsdale , waving happily at me.
Me and Lillie ran up to each other and hugged. It felt so nice to be next to her again.
As we let go of out our embrace, I saw Hapu grinning at us, and looking around, there were some other grins as well. Particularly from Kukui, Acerola, and the Akala captains. Though, their expressions changed pretty quickly.
Pretty soon the sun began to set, and the festival was going on into the night. Me and Lillie never strayed too far from each other the whole time, though.
Finally, we got to talk one on one with each other, as everyone else were no longer bothering me with conversations and other things.
"Sun... Congratulations on becoming the Champion!" Lillie said, smiling.
"Thanks, Lillie. I couldn't have done it without you." I said. Lillie blushed a little bit at that statement.
"It's amazing, isn't it? All these people are here just to help you celebrate this achievement, Sun... Everyone looks so happy... The adults, the children...even the Pokémon!" She said. I saw her beautiful green eyes in the moonlight. They shimmered and sparkled like emeralds. I wanted to kiss her right here and now.
"Hey, Sun... It looks like the party is going to keep on going strong for some time still, wouldn't you say? Do you think...maybe...we could sneak out for a second?" Lillie said, looking around a little bit nervously.
Sneaking out alone? With Lillie? I'm not passing up this opportunity!
"Sure! I know just the place!" I said, smiling. Just the thought of me and her alone made my heart start pounding away.
"O-OK Sun! Let's go!" She said, going a little pink.
I grabbed her hand and led her away into the forest. Eventually we made it to a spot that overlooked the river that I almost fell into at the beginning of my journey... Well, our journey. It was a little pocket of cleared forest where you could see a few Morelull glowing in the backround. It was... Kind of romantic.
I turned to Lillie to see her blushing intensely. I looked to see where she was looking, and it was directly at our hands, still locked together. I then realized we had been holding hands this entire time.
"I-I'm sorry!" I said, pulling my hand away. I began to blush as well.
"Oh! N-No, um, it's fine! I, um... Actually kind of liked it..." She said, blushing even harder than before.
As we talked, we inched closer and closer to each other.
"Sun... We've gone through so much together... And, I have to tell you something." Lillie said, looking embarassed. What... Does she mean? Is she going to confess? To me?
Lillie's POV
I'm... I'm going to tell Sun how I feel. There's no better time than this. We're alone in the forest together, what better time? I hope he feels the same...
I had talked to my mother before about how to tell him. She told me what when we're alone, nobody would be there to ruin the moment for us... But now I don't think I can say it... What... What if he doesn't feel the same? What if he hates me after this?

I heard a huge firework go off in front of us. It must've been for the festival.
"Oh... The fireworks are coming out tonight, then." I said, looking up at them. This truly was romantic. Just the two of us, by ourselves, watching the fireworks go off.
I saw a particularly big firework, that was crazy fast, except it didn't explode like the others...
It... Was going directly towards us? A Pokemon?
Just then, the giant lion landed right next to us. Solgaleo gave Sun a big nuzzle, as well as me.
"Nebby? What are you doing here?" I said to it. Solgaleo grunted, while gesturing it's head to the fireworks.
"Did you want to celebrate with us?" Sun asked. Solgaleo grunted in what seemed like a yes.
We all watched the fireworks for a little bit, before Solgaleo got back up.
"Looks like Nebby needs to go." Sun said, petting it's mane. Solgaleo grunted in agreement.
Before heading off, though, Solgaleo began to nudge Sun towards me, and began to use it's tail to push me into Sun! Nebby pushed us so close that we were just inches away from each other.
Had Nebby noticed what was going on between me and Sun?
Nebby then took off, leaving us right up close to each other. I could feel Sun's body warmth right up against my own body, and I could see his silver eyes glimmer in the moonlight. This was like a dream come true.
"Sun, I have to tell you something..." I said. I was going to confess. I needed to. My heart couldn't handle being this close and not getting closer to him.
"Lillie, I have to tell you something too." He said, but we were slowly getting closer and closer to each other. I could feel Sun's breath on my skin at this point.
"Sun... I..." I said
"Lillie... I... I love..." Sun said as our faces got closer and closer. We didn't say a word, I don't even think we knew what was happening. Our faces inched together more and more until our lips met, right then and there.
I could feel his lips touching mine. I knew we probably shouldn't do this, but it was so amazing. His lips were so gentle and smooth, it was like heaven. We kissed for a long time, grabbing each other's waists with our arms, embracing each other as we kissed.
Was I dreaming right now? Was this real? The boy I've liked for so long... I'm kissing him. I'm doing what I've always wanted to do.
Eventually, we needed to breathe again and let go of the kiss, but still embraced in each other's arms.
"Sun... I love you." I said. It flowed out like nothing. I stared into his eyes and his face. What I was feeling was amazing. I want this feeling all the time.
"I love you too, Lillie" Sun said. We kind of laughed.
We just kissed, how could we not feel the same?
Sun's POV
We kissed again, still embracing each other. Her lips were so soft, and they felt like pillows. I wanted this for the rest of my life...
We embraced tighter, tightening the kiss as well.
The girl I've known since coming to Alola... This shy, timid girl... I was kissing her.
Eventually, we let go of the kiss again. Lillie hugged me tight and rested her head on my shoulder. We waltzed a little bit under the stars. I could feel her entire body against mine. I was in complete bliss.
"We... Should get back to the festival. People might've noticed we've left by now." Lillie said quietly.
"Oh, shoot. I almost forgot." I said. I was about to pull away our hug, but Lillie stopped me.
"Wait... Just a little bit longer..." She said, still resting her head on my shoulder.
I smiled and we held each other for a minute or two more.
Eventually, we let go and began to walk back to Iki Town, hand in hand.
"I... Guess we're a couple now, huh?" I said.
"U-Um... I guess so... But, I kind of like it that way." She smiled with a blush, leaning on my arm a little bit.
"Should... Should we tell them?" Lillie asked.
"I mean, I AM champion now, so we may have to... But, do you want them to know?"
"I... I think some people may already know about us, anyway... I wouldn't mind..." She answered
Eventually we made it back to Iki Town, where there was still a huge celebration going on.
Looking around though, it looks like Hau left early. I wonder why....
The festival continued into the night, until only a few people were left, including Lusamine, my Mom, Kukui, Burnet, Hala, Acerola, the Akala Captains with Kiawe asleep, Olivia, and a few others.
Acerola called the attention of all of the remaining people around.
"Attention all, I would like to congratulate our Champion, once more." Everyone clapped.
"But, however, I have a question to ask." Acerola said, grinning mischievously.
"What is your current relationship status?" She said, pointing at me and Lillie, grinning.
We both blushed from being called out.
"I told you..." I whispered into Lillie's ear.
"I guess we have no choice, now..." She whispered back. I grabbed her hand and walked with her to the platform.
"Um... Ahem. As first Champion of Alola, I would like to announce that... We are together now. We're a couple." I said, holding Lillie's hand.
Surprisingly, my mother and Lusamine were the first to start clapping. Prof. Burnet and Kukui followed soon after.
Soon enough, becoming champion wasn't the only thing I was being congratulated on.
I turned to Lillie and kissed her on the lips once more.
"We don't have to hide it anymore, I guess..." Lillie smiled at me.
For the rest of the night, we showed our affection to one another in public. We held hands, embraced, danced, and kissed one another. I was just so happy I could finally be with the girl of my dreams.
Lillie's POV
Soon, the festival finished and we all went home. But before we left, our mothers hugged us and congratulated us once more.
"Lillie, you can come over, or sleep the night when ever you want." Sun's mom said.
"The same goes for you, Sun. Come to the Aether Paradise whenever you want." My mother said. They were awfully happy about us it seems.
"If Mohn could see you now, Lillie... You've grown so much!" Mother said, hugging me.
"So... What will it be, Lillie?" Sun said.
"Well, you've already slept at the Aether before... So I want to see what it's like at your home!" I said.
"Oh, I forgot I had made some plans with Miss Lusamine, I'll be gone for a while, hehe." Sun's Mom said, giggling. Both our mothers giggled to each other and walked away.
"Oh, okay then, Mom. I guess we'll see you later!" Sun said, confused. His mom walked away waving with a big smile on her face? Was she planning something?
Sun nodded and we went to his house.
We went inside and found Meowth waiting for us. I pet the Meowth a few times before heading to Sun's room with Sun.
I changed into my pajamas, which was a loose fitting button down shirt with matching pants. Sun changed into his pajamas, which were a t-shirt with some soft shorts.
We sat on the bed which easily fit the both of us. Sun wrapped his arms around my waist, and I wrapped my arms around his neck. We looked into each other's eyes deeply.
"Um... Kissing was, um, nice earlier..." I said, blushing. I really wanted to kiss him more...
"Did you want to do it again?" Sun asked. He read my mind. I nodded in return.
"Well that's good, because I wanted to, too." He smiled. I smiled too as Sun held my cheek and kissed me.
We slowly lowered into the bed, making out with each other. Sun kissed my cheeks, my forehead, my stomach, and a lot of other places. It felt amazing being pampered like this.
We nuzzled noses, cuddled, and played around a little bit too.
I could feel Sun's entire body up against mine as he put his arms around my waist. Even in this position our lips were locked together, only parting to breathe.
Eventually, we both fell asleep in each other's arms.
Sun's POV, the next morning.
I felt a warmth embracing my body. I recalled everything that had happened last night and opened my eyes. I saw Lillie, sleeping right next to me with her arms around my body. My arms were wrapped around her waist in parallel. I could feel her chest up against mine as it expanded and contracted as she slept peacefully.
She smelled so good, and her sleeping face was just too cute.
I looked outside to see the sun already risen. I checked the clock to see that it was 9 AM already.
I tapped Lillie, waking her up.
She blinked a few times before staring up at me. She smiled at me,
"So... It wasn't a dream..." She looked up at me, inching her face closer to mine.
"I'm glad..." She said, leaning in to kiss my lips. Her lips were so soft and sweet, I could kiss her all day.
Finally, we parted lips.
"I'm glad, too." I said, smiling.
We sat there and cuddled for a little bit longer, enjoying each others warmth. After 15 minutes, I finally spoke.
"I think we should get up now." I said, beginning to pull away before Lillie desperately pulled me back towards her.
"J-Just a little bit l-longer..." She said, blushing. She was so cute when she was embarrassed. Her face was comparable to a strawberry right now, how could I resist?
I chuckled and complied, laying back down and snuggling in with Lillie. She seemed very happy to cuddle some more.
Finally, we both got up and took a few stretches before heading out into the living room.
I walked out with Lillie still leaning on me, attached. We saw a stack of Alolan pancakes, still steaming on the counter.
Left next to them was a note that from my mother, who was out doing errands.
"I guess these our for us, then." I said.
"Your mother is very kind..." Lillie said, looking in awe of the pancake stack.
"So... Now that we're official, what do you want to do?" I said to her, kissing her forehead.
"Anything as long as it's with you..." She said, resting her head on my shoulder.
"How about... The beach?" I asked her.
"That's fine with me." She said, picking her head back up to face me.
We leaned in for another kiss.
"I'm still trying to wrap my head around that this is all real... It's a dream come true..." She said smiling.
"Yeah... It is." I smiled back to her. We kissed each other once more.
