(Inside of the gap between dimensions)
During the 27 years Sung Jin-Woo spent in the endless void he has finally defeated all the sovereigns and is going back home. After defeating Antares, the king of berserk dragons, he had a feeling something was summoning him, but not knowing what it was he didn't answer the call.
Jin-Woo was relieved that the war has finally ended and, after a long time traveling through the void, is standing at the border between his world and the gap between dimensions.
He was surprised to see that a lot of people have gathered beneath the gate. It would have been a pleasant surprise to see so many people welcoming him back home, but he knew better then to assume that to be the case.
He formed a smile knowing that he'll soon be home. That the doorway back to his world is soon gonna open.
Sung Jin-Woo:'Huh, this is the first time I'm seeing things from the inside of a gate.'
In the past, he needed to give it his all to break through the wall separating his world from the gap between dimensions in order to fight the sovereigns.
Sung Jin-Woo:'But now...'
Small cracks start to form on the gate. If he pushed harder, he could probably break it without much effort.
But he chose not to. People on the ground are already scared enough, would be bad if he opened the gate now. And since he already spent nearly 27 years in the endless void it wouldn't hurt to stay a few days longer.
Jin-Woo: 'hold up, who'd believe this hand belonged to a third year middle school student.'
After the 27 years spent in the gap between dimensions Sung Jin-Woo has aged considerably. He's even older than his father now.
Jin-Woo:'well guess there's no helping it''This should do it.'
Now the only thing left to do is wait.
(Timeskip: 2 days)
Random citizen:Hey its opening!
The crown beneath the gate started panicking and yelling. But after the gate fully opened up, they realized there was nothing there. And the crowd started wondering if it was over.
Unbeknownst to the people staring at the gate, the thing that they were looking for was already amongst them.
When Sung Jim-Woo exited the crown and stood at an abandoned street, he undid his stealth.
The crowd didn't notice the middle school student pop out of nowhere because they were too focused on the dissipating gate.
Sung Jin-Woo scanned through the crowd to see if anyone had noticed him. And his eyes landed on a young man holding a expensive looking bouquet.

The man approached him.
Man with bouquet: Hello mr. Sung Jin-Woo, or shoul I address you as the shadow sovereign instead?
Jin-Woo: It doesn't matter what you address me as. But having one person welcome me back isn't so bad, I guess.
Man without bouquet: Honestly... I never thought you'd be able to finish your mission with the odds stacked so heavily against you. But I see you've amassed quite the army.
Without a doubt Sung Jin-Woo now wielded the strongest fighting force when both the sovereigns and rulers were taken into account.
Jin-Woo: Well surely the emissary of the rulers didn't come just to give me a bouquet of flowers. So... why did the rules send you.
Emissary: Well the rulers have sent you a request. Although it might take long to explain everything, so can we go somewhere more private.
Jin-Woo: Fine. I have a place I wanted to stop by anyway.
(Timeskip)
The emissary stared wordlessly at Sung Jin-Woo as he ate a bowl of ice cream.
Emissary: You wanted to stop by an ice cream parlor?
Sung Jin-Woo: well after being away from home so long I kinda made me hanker for something sweet. So what did the rulers want to say?
Emissary: Oh, well they wanted to express their genuine gratitude. Never have we've ben able to get such a good result when we fought the sovereigns.
Jin-Woo: Let's skip the introductions and move on. Did a new problem pop up from somewhere?
(Now this is where the actual story starts. God help me.)
Emissary: Well actually, yes, a new problem has arose.
Jin-Woo: Really, what's the problem?
Emissary: A goddess by the name of Medea Pideth Machina took a portion of the chaos worlds monsters during the wars. And is multiplying their numbers and sending them to 2 worlds in waves in order to sap their energy and destroy them in the process. It's also worth mentioning that a noble in one of the worlds is her incarnation, a fragment of the goddess. There's a few other worlds we need help with but it's not worth mentioning them now.
Jin-Woo: And why don't the rulers deal with it themselves. Isn't it their job?
Emissary: Well yes it is. But by the time we get there it will already be too late.
Jin-Woo: But me and the rulers use the same type of travel between worlds. How would I get there any earlier than them?
Emissary: Well mr. Sung Jin-Woo, have you been aware that for some time now the people of that world have ben trying to summon you?
Jin-Woo remembers that during his time in the gap between dimensions, after he defeated Antares, somethings ben trying to pull him into another world. Naturally he didn't accept the summoning until he knew what it was.

Sung Jin-Woo confirms this with a nod.
Emissary: With a summoning it would take you no time to travel to the world we're talking about. So mr. Sung Jin-Woo the rulers ask of you to please consider helping the people in that world because we're not able to.
Jin-Woo: Ok...but how did the rulers know I was being summoned by the people from that world?
Emissary: Well they've summoned you every time during the past resets. And if you're wondering why you haven't ben summoned by them in the last timeline, it's probably because the original shadow sovereign blocked the summoning. from what we've seen her do in the past timelines, she plans to destroy both worlds. And a tip from the rulers about the world you are being summoned to, do not trust any of the nobles or royalty, especially the princess named Malty, but for the first time you meet her she'll be known as Myne, her adventurer name, and she has crimson red hair.
Jin-Woo: Ok, can you give me a few minutes to decide?
Emissary: Off course mr. Sung Jin-Woo.
Now Jin-Woo is faced with a difficult decision. He, in order to do the mission the rulers have requested of him to do, has to give up on seeing his loved ones for some time again.
After some time Sung Jin-Woo has decided.
Jin-Woo: I'll do it. But do I have some time to do a few things before I go? And also, how do I find the goddess you're speaking of?
Emissary: You do. We've estimated that you have about 2 days before the summoning fails. After that you'll have 1 more chance to be summoned in about 6 days. After that you can't go anymore. As for finding her, you can find that out in these documents.
The emissary hands Jin-Woo a documents containing the ways to find his target.
Jin-Woo reads the document.
"The key to finding the goddess, Medea Pideth Machina, is the person that's her incarnation. The incarnation is easily detectable because of its unique aura and its ignorance of you, the shadow sovereign, the only being able to sense it in the world you're being sent to. The incarnation is the princess of the country you'll begin in, although she'll introduce herself as an "adventurer". She can be easily recognized by her scarlet red hair. And she, the church, and anyone connected to them, cannot be trusted. When you find her, kill her and that trap her soul with your magic. The weapon that will be given to you when you get summoned will teach you how to do it at some point. You'll also need to construct a machine and acquire a fuel source to power said machine. The instructions are on the next few pages. And when you're ready, during one of the waves, when the border between dimensions is weak enough, use the soul of the incarnation and the machine to blast a hole in reality straight to the goddess. All you need to go through the gate and follow where the soul goes with the bridge it will create and it will lead you to the goddess, from there we trust you know what to do. Including you, there's gonna be 5 people summoned there as heroes with 5 different legendary weapons. And you'll be summoned as the mage hero."
Jin-Woo: 'Great, branded as a mage again.''I'll leave this to Kandiaru.' Good. Then I'll be taking my leave now if you don't mind. When I finish what I want I'll accept the summoning and go.
The emissary was happy that Sung Jin-Woo has accepted the mission hes ben given.
Emissary: see you when you get back, mr. Sung Jin-Woo.
After Sung Jin-Woo left he went to check on his family.
Standing on the balcony with 'stealth' activated, he sees his father still alive. Mother, not affected by the disease of the past. And finally, his little sister, still at home since school was canceled for the day because of the giant gate that he opened to get home.
His parents seemed happy, but Jin-Woo could still see the sadness beneath the surface. It was easier to see it in his sister Jin-Ah, because of her age. She can't process missing a family member that disappeared out of nowhere with only a note left behind that easily.
It took all his will and might to not deactivate his skill and go back home. But he couldn't, he had another world to save.
Leaving his home behind he visits others he met because of the past timeline and some friends from the current one.
And before leaving he had checked on the shadows he left behind to protect the people he cared for. And corrected the behavior of a former shadow of his.
After he was done with that, Sung Jin-Woo was finally able to accept the summoning.
Jin-Woo: 'Are you all ready?'
Beru: 'Were all ready my liege.'
Igrit: 'Well always be by your side.'
Bellion: 'And the army will be with you till the end.'
Jin-Woo hears the voices of the army of 10 million in his shadow start to roar in affirmation. They're all exited to follow their king into another battle and serve him.
He didn't know what to expect from this new world, but he knows that no matter what the challenge he faces is, he and his shadow army will crush it to dust.
Jin-Woo: Well, here we go.

Valkyrie's Shadow

The Sorcerous Kingdom has entered the world’s stage to the clamour of death and devastation; the surrounding nations fearfully prepare even as they reel from its calamitous debut. Will is poor. This is a fact he does not like about himself. Even back at his home village he was considered poor, but poor in the big city means something completely different than poor in a small village... It means ten hour days of hard manual labor with barely enough money to survive, and poor living conditions. He's sick of it, and desperate for change. Perhaps that was what made him decide to spend such a large portion of his savings on a mysterious potion from that beggar... That, and it seemed so special when he held it. But ever since that day, he's been having the strangest dreams... And the work is really starting to take a toll on his body... Author's Note: I wasn't sure which mature content warnings I should put on this novel, as I'm pretty much pantsing the story. I'm putting them there mostly as a percaution, but also to not limit myself as to where the story can go. This is my first time writing and publishing anything substantial. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

8 67The King's Queen
#7 in vampire #1 in queenThe world has gotten boring to him after living for many centuries, through many generations. He thought of it as a curse. His gift was anything but a gift, in his opinion. He loved killing people. He always has. He enjoyed seeing the life being drained out of them, quite literally. He always drank every last drop of their life essence, he didn't have mercy. Though he was the king there was something he could never have unlike others of his kind. A soulmate. He hadn't been turned or born from vampire parents. No, he was born a monster from human parents. The first of his kind. Why he was born like it, he didn't know. He didn't care. All he knew was that he wanted to die already, since he had no mate to look forward to. He lived because he couldn't die, at least not physically. He had no reason to live, but many reasons to die and even though he tried many times by many methods, none of them suceeded. He staked himself, on multiple occasions. It felt like a needle piercing his skin. He hung himself. He didn't die, but he hung there, very much conscious. He went on the gillotine. It made his body dissapear and reappear in the same spot he was born in. He took his heart out. He grew one back. He bled out. His blood regenerated. He used silver stakes. They burned his flesh. He overdosed. It did nothing since drugs, alcohol and other dangerous things do absolutely nothing to him, except get him under the influence to a certain level. But none of them filled the emptiness in his heart. He just needed her. But all he got were unimportant girls he used and forgot about. He never felt anything for them. He couldn't. But then on that day while he was walking around a small town's forest, he felt the emptiness slowly being filled up a bit. He stood there in shock. He couldn't believe it. He almost cried of happiness, right then and there. He had her. He had a mate. His mate. His one and only mate. His Queen.
