Soon I hear the front door opening. Noor enters sneakily, careful that no one sees her. She is definitely hiding something. She enters our room only to be shocked. She stands at the door totally shocked. Jai introduces himself and leaves quietly.
Noor takes a step towards me but I stop her. 'Where were you? I have been waiting for you for the past 3 hours', I say barely keeping my anger in control. 'Adi I was out with my friend. I'm sorry I didn't inform you but I actually left in a hurry. My friend needed my help'.
'What friend were you with because I know you weren't with Nissa or Roon. I called them while I was looking for you'. 'Adi I was with Arjun. He needed my help'.
NOT HIM. That fucking bastard. 'How many times do I have to tell you to stay away from him. I don't like him. Don't you get it. Anyway what possible help did he needed from you that took you 3 damn hours! ', I say now completely loosing my calm.

Noor's expression suddenly goes from guilty to one of anger,'Adi you don't get to dictate who I should be friends with or not'.
Oh no. She did not just say that. I yell at her,' I have every fucking right to tell you which person not to meet especially if it is a guy with whom you were till 11 pm in the night!'.
Noor's expression changes into one of disbelief. 'Adi..A..Adi how can you possibly say that. How can you even think of me like this. He is my friend. For me my friends are like my family but even then there is no one in this world that I love more than you. I never thought I would hear such a derogatory remark from you. Even if you didn't love me I thought that at least you respected me. I'm sorry but I cannot stay here in this room with you any more. I'm going to the guest room. Have a good night', Noor leaves our room leaving me hanging in between.
Shit. Shit shit shit. I say while punching repeatedly on the wall in front of me.
Noor's POV
I feel numb. There is absolutely nothing that I feel right now. Adi thinks I am cheating on him with Arjun. With Arjun of all people. The one person who has been my friend since I could say the word friend.
And Adi. My love. My husband. He doesn't trust me. My husband doesn't trust me. The one person who is the basis of my happiness doesn't trust me. He doesn't have any faith in my love. All those words of being a gift, all those words about cherishing me, all those soft gentle caresses which made me feel so loved. All of them were fake.

NO I refuse to believe that. They can't be fake. They can't be. I gave all of me to him and all those looks were fake. NO IT CAN'T BE! No no! I begin hitting things around me repeatedly muttering the same word 'No, it can't be'.
