I woke up to a tingling sensation on my neck. I turn to see Adi breathing on my neck and sleeping. I take this time to study him. He is a very handsome man undoubtedly. I notice his long lashes for the first time. He sleeps like a child, so carefree with his mouth slightly open. He looks so cute and innocent. I gently caress his cheek and get up after placing a soft kiss on his lips. I take a shower and go downstairs to start with the breakfast.

I see my mom-in-law already waiting for me. 'Mom, I am so sorry for making you wait. I got up on time but I think I took more time in getting ready'. ' No need for sorry Noor. You are actually early by 5 minutes. I was just making tea for myself and your dad. I am going now but if you need any help don't hesitate to call me'.

With that I start making breakfast. I decide to make Adi's favourites which I came to know from my mom-in-law. I takes me under an hour to get everything ready. Soon everyone comes in the dining hall and gets seated. I start serving the food, first to my parents-in-law and then my dear Adi.

'Well this looks delicious and seem to be Aditya's favourite dishes ' said dad. 'Well they are his favorites and I bet they taste better' replied mom.

I noticed that Adi was not eating anything. 'Adi is everything ok?, I enquired. 'Have you had your breakfast?, he asked. 'No, I will have it later. You have it now'. With that he got up from his chair and went to the kitchen. He came back with a plate and cutlery and placed it on the table in front of the empty chair. He pulled my hand and made me sit on the chair and started serving me. After that he settled himself on his chair and said, 'Well let's eat'.

Oh God, how am I supposed to remain angry at him when he does such sweet things for me. I start smiling like a buffoon. I never knew Adi could be so sweet. When he sees my smile he blushes a little but covers it up by saying,' What! I just wanted to make sure that I won't die alone by eating your food. You should eat along with me.'And there is the Adi that I know. Always a jerk.

'And pack your bags for we are going to your parents house tomorrow to spend the weekend there', says Adi. That makes my smile grow big. Nothing can spoil my mood now. I know this is his sweet way of apologising for what he did yesterday.

Soon we start eating. Dad is the first one to congratulate me for the delicious food that I prepared followed by mom and Adi. After that everyone starts dispersing to go to their respective jobs. I enter my room to see Adi struggling with his tie. I remove his hands from the tie and start knotting it for him.

'You are not upset with me, right? ' he asks me. 'Well, I am', I say deciding to pull his leg a bit. 'Of course, that's why you are helping me with my tie right now and also you made my favourites for breakfast and not to forget you stole a kiss from me in the morning when you thought I was sleeping. Did I miss anything?', he states with a smirk on his face.

With that I start blushing. 'I didn't know my wife was a somnophilic. That is an interesting finding'. 'Shut up, I am not a somnophilic and you were awake at that time like you said so I am not that.', I say defending myself. Adi smiles and hugs me and whispers in my ear,' You can kiss me whenever you want, even while I am sleeping. I don't mind having a somnophilic wife'.

God! This man is so infuriating. I knot his tie too tight to strangle him. ' And my wife is also a sadist. She gets pleasure in strangling her husband', Adi says still teasing me.

Ughhh! No one can win with this man. I give up and turn around to leave when he catches my arm and turns me around to kiss me suddenly. Why are all his kisses sudden? He never gives me time to prepare and always catches me off guard. But to be honest I love his kisses - all sudden and passionate.

After kissing me to his hearts content he steps back and says,' I am taking you out on a date tonight. Be ready'.With that he leaves to go to the hospital. Wow. I'm excited. I am going on my first date. Wait, he didn't even ask me out. He is just ordered me to go out with him. Does he think that being his wife means I will do whatever he asks of me. He could have been a bit romantic. But that's Adi. He never asks. Even yesterday he ordered me to leave and didn't care that I wanted to stay longer.

I go downstairs to see my mom sitting in the lobby. She sees my expression and asks what happened. I tell her how Adi didn't even ask me out and just ordered me and what happened yesterday. She sighs and says,' Well that's Aditya for you. He's always been like that. He is used to ordering people around and getting his way done. He may seem a bit detached but he is actually very sensitive. He takes things to heart and gets hurt easily. That's why he never asks. He just orders people so that no one gets to say no. You see, he is very reserved in sharing his feelings with others. He doesn't share his feelings with me or even his father. He is close only to his best friend. Something happened few years ago which led to him being even more closed off than before. I don't know what happened but it was quite serious. I am sure he will share it with you. Just give him time and be patient. I know you are an independent girl and don't like to be ordered around but that's his way of going. I am sure with time you will make him learn to ask and not order'.

'Well, I am going to try and not get upset. I hope he will open up to me', I replied. She kissed my forehead and left.

I suspected that something might have happened in his past but now I am sure. His overly possessive nature shows he's insecure. I need to find more about this best friend.
