We back open up in the carriage where we see Many potions. Y/n is sitting in the back. He looks at one of the potions. He remembers what the seller said.

(Past) seller: I've received an order for herbicide shield king. A village to the south needs a lot of it and immediately. Your the only one I can ask. You have the heavenly fowl.

Y/n then looks at The amount Of the herbicide the village there going towards ordered.

Y/n:*Why do I get a feeling I'm gonna have to clean someone's mess*

Just then filo speaks.

Filo: Papa the plants here are amazing.

Y/n goes to the front of the carriage. Both y/n & Raphtalia looks at all the plants Which are growing on everything shocked.

Y/n: Well...Shit no wonder they ordered so much.

Raphtalia's Raccoon ears wiggle for a second before she points forward.

Lord: we tried everything we could think of. We even tried summoning adventurers but the situation remains grave.

They all look over and watch as some vines start to grow like a plague.

Lord: our village was already overrun by the vines. And what's worse the plants turned into monsters and attacked us.

Y/n sweat dropped.

Y/n: turned into monsters?

Suddenly a scream rang out causing everyone to pause what there. The lord of the village continues.

Lord: Some adventurers set out for the village to level up. I tried To stop them But to no avail.

Y/n faces palms.

Y/n: Oh god dammit (looks towards filo) Filo Get the adventurers and being them back here but be carful.

Filo turns To y/n To show while they were talking she was eating some tomatoes. She speaks while still eating.

Filo: plant monsters all over the place. Some even spat poison or acid.

Filo then has a look that's a mix Of disappointment And Smugness.

Filo: Why did these guys go up there if there so weak. They must be stupid.

Raphtalia Shook her head.

Raphtalia: You didn't have to add that last part.

Filo tilted her head trying to act confused.

Filo: Huh?

The lord of the village gains A desperate look.

Lord: I beg of you! Please heal our sick with your powers!

Y/n looks at the man in surprise. Raphtalia speaks.

The lord of the village then takes Then to a tent with many sick people. Y/n and Raphtalia Stare in shock At how many there were. They all had a similar Symptom some plants growing on there bodies. The lord of the village speaks.

Lord: As you can see. the plants are devouring there bodies.

Y/n glares at the plants.

Y/n: Damn things Are parasitic.

The lord then turns back to y/n.

Lord: please king! Help them with your powers!

Y/n and Raphtalia walk over to a little kid to heal them first.

Y/n: I can't say if this will work because I've never encountered anything like this before. but I will try.

Y/n takes out the Herbicide and uses his potion Enhance Skill. He pours it On the plants On the kids body and the plants evaporate instantly. Y/n then gets up with a smile.

Y/n: alright on to the next one.

Raphtalia: hai!

We see y/n and Raphtalia walk towards filo who was eating some more tomatoes. Y/n looks towards Raphtalia.

Y/n: That went really well.

Raphtalia: Yeah.

Y/n: But after we get paid for the treatment. We're gonna need to leave I need to test something.

Raphtalia stops walking and looks behind her to see the lord of the village and two others On the ground Bowing.

Raphtalia: I daresay that might be difficult.

Y/n: now why would you say-

Y/n then turns and sees The same thing. The lord of the village speaks.

Lord: Our king of the heavenly Fowl! Please save our village!

Raphtalia walks over to a sleeping filo while y/n talks to the villagers. The lord of the village explains how this all started.

Y/n just face palmed at the stupidity of not only Motoyasu but also the villagers.

One of the other villagers continues whole Raphtalia walks over and sits next to y/n.

Villager: at first we were overjoyed when we saw how quickly the plants grew and bore fruit. However.

Raphtalia finishes.

Raphtalia: they over grew and took over your village?

The villager nods his head.

Villager: Indeed. While investigating our options. We hit upon a legend passed around our village. A long time ago. An alchemist who'd set up shop in this area created a seed. But seeker it away for some reason. The legend also said that plants had over taken this region for awhile.

Y/n just Looks at them like they were stupid.

Y/n: and none of you thought that seed may have been The seed from the legend?

The three men looked down ashamed.

Y/n: I understand Desperate times and all that but That doesn't excuse the aftermath of all of it. Plus I have no doubt in my mind you thought it was safe because a hero gave it to you.

The three ment then Fell to there knees and the lord held out a Bag of money.

Lord: We'll pay for the treatments and for the monster extermination in advance! Please save our village!

Y/n then sighs Before getting up and grabbing The bag and putting it away. Then he takes out his zio ride watch and throws it in the air before catching it.

Y/n: while I don't want to clean up after the other heroes...I'll do my duty as King and protect my people.

Y/n then walks out of the village with Raphtalia following him. The lord of the villages eye's widen as y/n's shield changes And He looks at the watch y/n is still throwing up and down.

Lord*That shield And watch could he also be?*

Y/n looks back towards filo.

Y/n: Cmon filo!

Filo wakes up and runs after y/n and Raphtalia.

Filo: okay!

We see y/n now in zio form slicing some plant monsters and blocking acid spit while filo Kicks another and Raphtalia Slices A few different plant monsters with speed hits. They continue forward until they end of at a tree with a strange Flower on it with the seed in the middle. Suddenly the seed opens up to Reveal A eye the eye looks around for a second before staring at our heroes.

Y/n readies his zikan Girade and Readies his shield.

Y/n: So we take out that thing and it's over this should be easy.

Filo: papa I'm going.

Filo then rushes ahead running up a vine and kicking away a riot that tried to hit her.

Raphtalia: Filo!

Y/n quickly sees filo doesn't have any room to move anymore. Y/n uses his shield skill.

Y/n: air strike shield!

Filo jumps on the shield and lands a hard kick on the seed. Filo flys back and lands. But suddenly the roots move to hit her still. She quickly dodges. To everyone's shock The seed Regenerated at a quick rate. Y/n lets out a tch annoyed.

Y/n:* this thing regenerates too damn quick for us to do any real damage but maybe*

Y/n then turns to Raphtalia.

Y/n: Raphtalia! Splash this herbicide on that eye ball!

Raphtalia: Okay!

Y/n gives Raphtalia the herbicide she rushes onto filo's back.

Raphtalia: let do this filo!

Filo: Okay!

They both Rush Towards the eyeball. Raphtalia slashing at vines or roots that get close while filo runs along Some of them. Y/n is currently fighting The plant monsters down below. But Suddenly Raphtalia Slashes at the wrong fines causing her and filo to fall.

Filo: Don't hold me back mama!

Raphtalia: H-Hold you back!

Suddenly A few vines grab Raphtalia off of filo and hold her in a inappropriate way. Causing y/n to have Flashbacks While Filo laughed.

Raphtalia: Did you just laugh filo!

Filo: no I did not. Never mind that get the herbicide.

Raphtalia has a annoyed expression but frees her arm and poor's the Herbicide on a roof causing it to decay but it quickly degenerates. Y/n snaps out of his Flash back and is getting more annoyed by this thing.

Y/n:*God dammit what is it gonna take to Kill you!*

Y/n then remembers his Enhance Skill.

Y/n:*But I can't Get close enough with our being swatted away unless!*

Y/n brings out the new ridewatch. He presses down On it but instead of Saying another riders name instead it says.

Y/n then takes out herbicide and points at the seed.

Y/n: Your time.......is up.

Y/n then takes out his Now upgraded Zikan Girade. The saikyo Girade!

Y/n poors some the herbicide on his sword and walks forward. A vine Comes from behind him but he swings at it without even looking shocking Raphtalia and Filo. In y/n's perspective He Saw a vision of the Vine before it attacked.

Y/n: I have seen your future!

More vines come striking towards him but He either dodges perfectly or Counters Them with a perfect slice of his sword. As he finally gets close filo and Raphtalia stare in awe.

Filo: Papa your amazing!

Raphtalia:*Is this the true power Of the shield king?*

Y/n then stabs his blade into the Seeds very roots Causing it to let out a sound similar to pain. Y/n then takes some Spare Herbicide.

Y/n: Time shield.

In a burst Of A second Suddenly Most Of the Tree is now falling apart and the Bottles of herbicide are now empty. Y/n Quickly cuts Raphtalia down and catches her.

Y/n: Cmon we got to move.

Y/n then quickly jumps on filo with Raphtalia and they ride Away From the Now dying tree. Y/n tells filo to stop then he looks back at the Tree to see various seeds on it.

Y/n: those seeds could cause more trouble if we leave them alone.

Y/n then gets off Filo and Dehenshins.

Y/n: Lets gather them up.

As the start of gather the. Raphtalia was about to grab one when filo grabbed it before her.

Raphtalia: hey that was mine.

Filo: I got it first.

Before they could argue anymore y/n shouts from across the way as he picks up some more Seeds.

Y/n: Filo stop being disrespectful your mother And Raphtalia stops arguing with the our child.

They both stop and continue to work as y/n inserts one of the seeds Into his shield unlocking a bio plant shield.

Y/n:*Plant modification?*

Y/n then picks up three Seeds and throws them on the ground and in a few seconds they sprout into another tree before it dies just as fast. Raphtalia walks up to y/n with a Basket full of the seeds.

Raphtalia: What are you doing?

Y/n: Nothing just testing a skill.

Raphtalia looks at y/n slightly angry.

Raphtalia: We only just badly defeated that monster! So please don't be so reckless!

Y/n smiles at her before looking the seeds before snapping his fingers with a look of realization.

We see our heroes back at the village. The Villagers watch as The lord of the village thanks y/n.

Lord: Thank you our King....no our shield King!

Y/n nods his head before looking serious.

Y/n: we exterminated the monsters. So you guys just need to clean the withered vines yourself.

The lord of the village nods his head.

Lord: R-Right!

Y/n turns towards Raphtalia.

Y/n: Lets go that New form made me tired.

Raphtalia nods her head.

Raphtalia: ok.

We now see y/n place a tarp over a Bunch of the seeds and Walks over to a makeshift bed. He turns his shield into its shieldwatch form and places hit with the others and goes to sleep.

Meanwhile outside filo and Raphtalia are eating And speaking To the lord of the village.

Lord: The Shield King is sometimes Hard to read isn't he?

Raphtalia nods her head with a smile.

Raphtalia: Yes but that's what makes him so cool.

Lord: R-Right.

Y/n gets up and Looks at another shield he unlocked That allows he to do plant analysis. Y/n looks at the seed with the shield on before switching to his bio plant shield.

Y/n: Maybe this will work.

As y/n starts to plant it Raphtalia walks up to him leaving a still tired filo in the carriage.

Raphtalia: y/n-sama?

Y/n looks at Raphtalia for a second before looking back at what he was doing.

Y/n: You can sleep more if you need to Raphtalia.

Raphtalia: No it's fine.

Raphtalia then looks at the seed y/n's planting.

Raphtalia: is that the seed from yesterday?

Y/n nods then backs away from it.

Y/n: Just wait and see.

Just then the seed started to sprout into not a tree but a small Tree with fresh Fruits. The Success Of this experiment caused Y/n to quickly Pull Raphtalia into A kiss which was returned. After a. Few seconds Filo wakes up and walks out of the carriage rubber her eyes causing y/n and Raphtalia to break From the kiss. When filo Stops rubbing her eyes this eyes light up at the sight of the fruit.

Filo: those look yummy!

Later y/n shows This to all the Villagers while filo now in Filolial form eating a basket full of them.

Y/n: I curbed There breeding and Mutation Potential. Then increased there growth and productivity. With this you should have a lot of edible fruit without it trying to kill ya.

The lord of the village was amazed.

Lord: Wow.

Y/n then turns towards him with a small smile.

Y/n: the village will never have to worry about a great famine again.

The lord of the villager bows to Y/n in thanks.

Lord: Thank you Sir Hero! Not only did you save us from danger. Your giving us such a wonderful gift!

Y/n's smile fell and he sighed.

Y/n: Shamefully I can't just give this to you. But I'll give just a simple deal. I'll sell you the seeds for a good price of course.

Raphtalia shook her head at y/n but didn't say anything. The lord of the village speaks.

Lord: What? But we have nothing left.

The lord of the village then realizes And turns to the fruit of the new plant.

Y/n: Yep I knew that they probably didn't have enough money to pay For it so I decided why not just get the Fruit by giving them the Seeds.
