2 DAYS TILL THE WEDDING

Today we didn't have dance practice so i had planned to stay in my hotel room all day.I was lost in my dreamland when i heard my cellphone ringing.I groaned cursing the person who disturbed my beauty sleep.Without opening my eyes , i reached for the phone.Answering it without checking the caller ID.

Y/N : Hello?

Tae : CHUBS !!

He screamed from the other line.I had to hold it away from ear to prevent myself from becoming deaf.

Y/N : Why are you screaming oppa?

I said with my morning raspy voice.I knew it was Tae oppa as he was the only one who calls me chubs.I told him i hated it but he called that nickname just to tease me and that's how it kind of stuck.

Tae : NO REASON!! I'M JUST IN A GOOD MOOD! ARE STILL SLEEPING?!

He again yelled from the other side.I swear he's trying to make me deaf.

Y/N : I swear if you don't stop screaming i'm gonna hang up on you.

I said annoyed with his ear-splitting voice.

Tae : ok ok sorry!

He said quickly apologizing because he knew i was a woman of my words.

Y/N : yeah yeah so why did you call me?

Tae : oh yeah that so are you doing anything today?

Y/N : as far as i remember no, why?

Tae : i was wondering if you wanna hang out? you know we have a lot catching up to do.

Y/N : ok sure.

Tae : great! meet at the central park in half an hour ok?

Y/N : ok bye.

Tae : Bye !

I hung up the phone and went to get dressed.I wore a casual outfit with some shades and a mask

.After getting dressed i opened the door looking left and right to see any signs of the person i want to avoid.Once i saw the coast was clear i sneaked in the hallway going through the stairs as anyone hardly uses those.I couldn't risk bumping into him in the elevator.

After climbing down the stairs i looked from behind a wall at the reception.After double checking to see no signs of him i quickly ran out of the hotel in full speed.Once out, i kept running to get as far as possible from there.

I stopped at the sidewalk.WIth my hands on my knees, I breathed heavily trying to catch my breath.God , i hate exercising.I looked up to see the entrance of the central park.Now that wasn't very far, but then again i ran all the way here.

After fixing my attire , i walked inside the park.It was very romantic with all the flowers and the fountain.The couples were walking while holding hands and the children were playing on the swings.Everyone looked happy.I smiled strolling through the park .

I kept walking and stopped near a small stream.There was bridge crossing it and someone was standing on it.I could see the back of the person.I sneakily went behind the person knowing it was Tae oppa.He has a very unique sense of fashion and i could recognize it as soon as i saw it.I stood right behind him to scare him.

Y/N : BOO!!

I yelled right into his ear.

Tae : AARRGGG!!

He screamed stumbling forward a little.I started laughing seeing his scared face ,he just kept his hand on his chest trying to recover from the shock.

Tae : Yah ! it's not funny!I almost fell in the stream you know.

Y/N : I'm sorry, but you should have seen your face!

I said wiping the tears from my eyes that had appeared due to laughing so hard.

Tae : You're mean!

He said pouting .I swear he looked like kid trying to look mad.

Y/N : I said I'm sorry ! So what do you want to do now?

I said poking his cheek with my finger.

Tae : have you eaten breakfast yet?

And just at that moment my stomach made a loud gurgling sound indicating my hunger.I held my stomach looking down in embarrassment.

Tae : I'll take that as a no.

He said chuckling while looking at me.I just looked down my face red in embarrassment.

Tae : let's go to my favorite cafe,My treat.

He said before leading the way and i just followed him quietly my face still red in embarrassment.GOSH ! that was so embarrassing!

We went to a cafe named ' Topped off ' and i've got to say that his choice is not bad.It was cute cafe with a beautiful exterior .The interior was just as marvelous as the exterior.

We ordered our food and decided to chat in meantime,well mostly he was talking and i was listening.Somewhere in the middle of it i stopped listening my mind drifting off to Jimin .Lately he has bean a lot in my mind.I was lost in thoughts when i saw a hand waving infront of my face pulling me out if my trance.

Tae : back to earth, Y/N !

Y/n : huh, what ?

Tae : you were spacing out, are you ok ?

Y/N : yea-yeah ! i'm fine!

Tae : No you're not! you know ever since childhood you have been very bad at lying.Now come on tell me what's wrong.

Y/N : urgh! i hate that you know me so well.

I said annoyed with him.

Tae : i know . now come on tell me.

He said grinning .I sighed.

Y/N : well.....

I then told him everything that happened between us from us being friends to his confessions to me avoiding him.He nodded once in awhile which meant he was listening.After i finished explaining he looked down with his eyebrows furrowed as if he was in deep thought.

Y/N : so..?

Tae : well i hear what you are saying and i think maybe you like him too.

Y/N : WHAT ?! stop joking.

Tae : no i'm not , i think you're in denial.

Y/N : yeah, right!

I said sarcastically rolling my eyes.

Tae : No i'm serious.Feelings are no joke.It sometimes takes a lifetime to realize one's feelings for someone and by then it's too late.I don't want that to happen to you so please promise me you'll atleast think about it??

He pleaded keeping his hands on mine.I looked down then back at his eyes.

Y/N : fine!

I said sighing .We then talked about some random stuff , cracking jokes and all until i finally looked at the time.It was evening and the sun was about to set.We were so bust in talking that we lost track of time.We then said our goodbyes before seperating our ways.

While walking back to the hotel i remembered tae oppa's words.

"Maybe you like him too."

Do i? I mean yeah that one time my heart started beating fast standing near him but that was solely because of dancing right?

"Keep telling yourself that"

My subconscious interrupted my thoughts.I rolled my eyes at that.I looked at the sky thinking am i really in denial?Even if i like him , what after that? do we start dating?WAIT! what am i even thinking, i don't even know if i like him yet.gosh! Feeling really are no joke.
