It has been about a month and a half since Olivia and Tyler came into our life, and true to his word, I joined Leo and his son one day on their bonding days. But as they say, good things must come to an end because shortly after that, he started neglecting me again.

He does apologize when we get into a fight about that which ends in a night of make up sex. Last night was one of those nights.

Yet, throughout the whole month I've been feel sicker and sicker each day. One day I'm feeling dizzy and nausea, the next I'm feel totally tired. It has been worrying me for days now so today I've decided to see a doctor about it.

I wear my sneakers that I've paired with my black jeans and a grey Adidas hoodie because I couldn't care less about my appearance today as today seems to be one of those days I'm tired for no reason.

Well, maybe there is a reason today.

I grab my small Loui bag and place my phone, headsets, lipstick and keys before going downstairs.

A strong delicious aroma draws me into the kitchen where I see Leo cooking breakfastx with nothing but his pants and Liz's apron on. His muscles bulging as he moves around. Now that's a sight I won't mind waking up to.

He notices my presence and flashes me his panty dropping smile. "Hey baby."

I walk to him and kiss his lips tenderly. "Hey love. Whatcha doing?" I ask him.

"Since Liz took the day off to go a family gathering, I thought I'd make breakfast today." He says.

I chuckle and sit down, before remembering that I had something to ask him. "Hey babe, I've been feeling a bit sick lately and I thought I should go see the doctor today." I start.

He looks at me worriedly, "What's wrong? I've noticed you've been feeling down but I thought it was because of your exams and projects."

I shrug, "I guess it is but I want to be sure." He nods and continues with his work. "So I was wondering with you could come with me seeing as you're off today?"

Leo stops what he's doing and bites his lip. "Uhm, I'm sorry babe but I can't. Olivia and I have decided to enroll Tyler in the private school in town, so we have a meeting with the principal."

I frown at the rejection. "Can't Olivia do it by herself, it doesn't really need two people, now does it?" I can't help but feel my blood boil by the second.

And what he does next annoys me even more, he rolls his fucking eyes. "So does going to the doctor."

I stand up abruptly and slam my hand on the table. "Can you, for once, act like a damn husband and do your duties?"

He tugs his hair in frustration. "Gosh Alison, when will you stop being so god damn selfish and think about someone other than yourself?"

My eyes widen at that, his words cutting through my heart. I would never peg myself as the selfish type, but I guess he sees me that way.

I scoff and shake my head. "If asking you to accompany your sick wife to the doctor is being selfish then I'm sorry, I'm fucking sorry." With that, I leave the kitchen and walk out, slamming the door by mistake in the process.

I take a deep breath run my hand through my poorly combed messy hair, because I was too tired to comb it. I then take out my phone and dial the first person my mind runs to, surprisingly.

"Yello, you called so how can the big A man help you?"

I chuckle weakly at his greeting, "Hi Alex, I kind of need a favour. I need someone to accompany me to the doctor. It won't take that long, the longest will have to be about an hour."

He answers immediately. "Of course I'll come. I was just around the corner so I'll be there in a few minutes."

True to his words, it only takes him 10 minutes for him to get to Leo's place. He finds me outside the gate waiting for him patiently, deep in thought.

On the way to the doctor, I listen to Alex sing to a Taylor Swift softly but I won't be the judge of how he sings.

"Are you and Leonardo okay?" He suddenly asks out of the blue, looking at me for a quick second before averting his eyes back on the road.

The question catches me off guard, but I nod stiffly. "Of course we're okay," lies "why are you asking?"

"It's just that I know that this whole Olivia and Tyler situation is probably not sitting well with you, and it's probably straining your relationship." He says.

I mentally groan at the mention of Olivia, it seems like my world has been revolving around her and I don't like it. "Yes, it's a lot to take in but I think we'll get through it."

Silence for a couple of seconds before he says the next words shocking me beyond compare, "I think she's lying."

I look at her in confusion but he continues before I can say something, "I think she's lying about the child, you know?" I ask him to explain and he does. "The timeline doesn't match. I mean, she says that she conceived during her and Leo's relationship, and it just doesn't add up because it had been months since they broke up. I know for a fact that he didn't sleep with her because during his stupid year, he kept a list of everyone he slept with."

As soon as he finished his explaining, I'm left astonished. So the girl could be lying?

"Did you try telling him?" I ask.

He nods, "I did, which is one of the reason why I haven't been around for some time. He doesn't want to hear it. I think it has something to do with the fact that he wanted to be a better father figure for his child than his father was, and jumped on the first chance to be one."

I stare outside for a while, clearly shocked by what I heard. I definitely have to try to talk to Leonardo about it. But what if he doesn't listen to me and thinks I'm lying? I don't even have evidence.

"You're here." Alex calls, pulling me out of my thoughts.

It doesn't take long for the doctor to see me. I go with Alex in the room after telling him that it's not that serious, just a bug. Apparently he thinks the doctor is going to be checking me... down there.

Eye roll.

"Good morning, you must be Mrs O'Neil and Mr Wilde, I'm Doctor James." He introduces himself as he smiles kindly at us before sitting down. "So what seems to be the problem?" He asks.

"Well, I've been feeling sick for weeks now. I've been feeling dizzy, nausea, moody and my appetite has actually grown." I chuckle at that, the doctor following after. "I just hope I don't have cancer or anything of that sort."

He writes it down and looks at me. "I can't make assumptions so I'll have to take your blood and urine for tests. It will only take a few minutes."

After giving him my blood and urine, Alex and I wait for him impatiently. The need to know what's wrong grows by the minute, causing me to bob my leg up and down, annoying Alex in the process.

"Can you stop doing that, you're making me want to throw up." He says with annoyance draping in his voice.

"Welcome to the club buddy!" I snap at him. "Ugh, where's the damn doctor?" As soon as I say that, the door opens and the doctor comes out with papers at hand.

"Well, I can confidently say that you don't have cancer." I let out a breath of relief at his words. "But there is something else,"

I frown in confusion, "With all due respect, please get to it?" I say trying to sound as politely as I could.

He sets the papers down and grins at me, eyes shinning with happiness. "Congratulations Mrs O'Neil, you're pregnant!" He announces with enthusiasm but my body instantly tenses.

He then starts with explaining the pregnancy in detail including the stages of it, but I'm not listen. No, instead I'm deep in thoughts. I can't be pregnant, there's no way I'm pregnant.

I mean did I have sex with Leo? Yes. Did we sometimes not use protection? Yes.

The timing is just off. With all the things happening, having a child is the last thing I wanted. Yet, there's no way I'm getting rid of the baby, no way.

"Alison, Alison!" Alex brings me out of my thoughts. I look at him and blink with confusion. "The doctor wanted to tell you something important."

I nod and look at the doctor. "So I wanted to know if you'd want me to be your doctor throughout your pregnancy or..." He trails off but I know what he means, so I shake my head and shrug.

"I-I don't know." I'm barely able to utter the words but I'm thankful when he hears what I said.

He writes down something and hands me a paper. "Whether you choose to come to me or another, this is your date for the next appointment."

I take the paper and shove it in my bag. I then stand up, thinking that we've finished, and flash a tight smile to the doctor. "Thank you." With that, I walk out with Alex tailing behind me.

When we get outside, I start having problems breathing. The world around me starts becoming blur, or probably it's because of my teary eyes, but either way I can't see properly.

"Hey, hey, hey. Breath in," I recognise the voice as Alex's. I do as he says. "And out. Repeat the process." I follow his instructions and soon, my breathing goes back to normal.

Alex is now hugging my frame as I sob softly on his chest. "It's alright, everything is going to be alright. Just breath Alison, breath."

We remain in this position for what feels like hours but was actually mere minutes. I pull back and look at the ground, ashamed of my stunt. "Thank you." I mumble, and frown when I realise that that's all I've been saying for the minutes or so.

He nods and leads me inside his car. He quietly drives me back to Leonardo's house and as we inch closer to the house, I can't help but think about how he'll take the pregnancy. Will he freak out as I did? But that's highly impossible seeing as he openly allowed Tyler into his life without second doubt, even though he might not be his child.

I just hope that everything will be alright, just as Alex says it will.

I wave my hand saying goodbye to Alexander as he drives off. I make my way inside the house, holding onto my bag tighter.

As I make my way to my room, I stop when I overhear voices in what is now Olivia's room. "I know that Nardo, but just imagine, wouldn't it have been better if we didn't break up years back. Tyler would have been growing up with a loving family." It doesn't take much to realise that that is Olivia's voice.

"He can still grow up with a loving family Olivia. What I have with Alison is not ending." His voices rises at the end.

For some reason, I decide to peak inside and the odds seem to be in my favour, I guess, when I see her hand moving up and down Leo's chest and he isn't making any indication of moving it.

"Yes but don't you miss the old us, our old fun days?" Her face inches closer and closer to him, and he's still not moving.

I move away from the scene and clasp my mouth holding in a gasp. Now that I'm pregnant, I'm starting to see things in a different light.

If Olivia and Tyler are going to be living with us do I really want my child to be around this kind of... energy? And Leo, with his sudden change of behaviour I don't know where I stand with him anymore.

I move quietly into my room with determination, I know what to do.
