"Oh my goodness! I am ready to take a long break from school." Penny exaggerates as we take our sits in the cafeteria.

Laughing at her, I reply. "We've only been in school for a couple of weeks and you're already tired?"

She widens her eyes, "Are you kidding me? I could literally just quit even." She continues to exaggerate whereas I just roll my eyes at that.

With that, I start munching on my cheese burger and double chocolate chip frappuccino.

Diabetics waiting to happen.

"So I was thinking that since it's the weekend, we can go out together or something. Bring Blaire too, it can be a girl's night out." Penny suggests.

As promised, a few days ago I introduced Penny to Blaire and Alex. Whereas Blaire clicked with Penny immediately, Alex ended up clashing heads with her. I swear those two fight each other even about the smallest of things.

I sigh, "I can't. Leo asked me to go with him to some ball dance event tonight."

She stares at me for a couple of seconds. Eyes and mouth wide open. "What!?" She screeches in disbelief.

I nod. "Yeah. I don't know why you're shocked, it was part of the deal, remember?"

Penny shakes her head, "No, that's not why I'm shocked. I'm shocked because he asked you. Mr Bad Billionaire asked you." She exclaims, "Wasn't he supposed to demand you as always?"

I chuckle, "Maybe he changed. People change Penny you know. "

She snorts, "Not him"

Penny's right, I'm just as shocked as she is. Not so long ago Leo didn't acknowledge me at all, and suddenly, after my drunken night, he became nice to me. Well, nicer.

I'm just hoping tonight won't get too much for me. Lord knows how these rich people could act.

Then, all of a sudden, we hear noises and cheers from outside. "What do you think is happening?" I ask, earning me a shrug.

With one look, we disregard our food and go outside.

When we arrive outside, I see a group of college girls gathering around... a car? As we get closer, I notice that the black car is the one that Wilson drives which only made me more confused.

Penny, being Penny, pulls a girl aside and questions her, "Hey, what's happening?"

The girl, with bright blue hair, looks at us with excitement. "Can't you see? It's Leonardo O'Neil, he's here!" With that, she goes back to the crowd, screaming with them.

I nod. Of course he's here, but the question is why?

Penny and I squeeze my way through the crowd. And just as said, Leonardo is there, leaning on the black car with his black shades on. He has a smug face on as he crosses his arms across his chest. Leo is wearing his usual formal wear but without a tie, and his shirt unbuttoned.

I resist the urge to facepalm myself but go against it. "What are you doing here?" I whisper to him as soon as I stop in front of him.

He takes off his glasses and smirks. "I thought mi'lady needs a ride home." He stares at the back of me and his smirk drops. "And the friend, of course." He sarcastically adds

"Hey," Penny chirpers disregarding the sarcasm.

Wilson pops his head out of the window and says, "Sir, we have to get going. The appointment is in a few."

Appointment? What appointment?

"Right, let's go shall we?"

~~~
We arrive at this "appointment" in just 25 minutes after we dropped Penny off. Apparently, Leo kindly requested that we drop her off. Not like she disagreed because as she said, her plans for going out are still in motion.
The appointment happened to be at a boutique store, a very expensive boutique store.
As we get out, Leo drapes his hand on my shoulders and leads the way. Did he mean to do that or was that done without thinking?
Regardless, we make our way to the store. As soon as we get inside, a short petite black haired woman steps into said.
"Oh my! You're Leonardo O'Neil, and you're in my boutique." The woman, who's name reads Aurora, gushes
Leonardo removes his shoulder off me, "Yes. We have a ball to attend tonight and we want your finest gowns for the miss." He points out. "Money isn't an option."
Aurora nods, "Sit over there and I'll be back." She gestures at the sits and a table a few feet away from us.
A girl in a tight grey uniform comes forward with two glasses and a bottle of wine. "To drink," she says leaning forward to place the items on the table, and as she does that, her cleavage shows from the tight shirt.
Is this girl trying to grab Leo's attention?
I look to my side to see if he is looking at her but thankfully, he is busy with his phone. Looking back, I notice that the girl is suddenly mad at this.
A large grin makes its way to my face, "You may leave, thanks."
She rolls her eyes but leaves.
"Is someone jealous?" I hear Leo asking.
"What the hell are we doing here? I have dresses that will be perfectly fine for tonight." I change the subject.
He leaves his phone and looks at me with a raised brow. "Alison, I've seen your dresses, well dress, and it's not ball type material. And if I'm not mistaken, you wore that only dress to your graduation ceremony, right?"
I nod at that, but realisation strikes me because I haven't told him that. "Yeah, but how do you know that?"
Before he can answer, Aurora comes back with a lot of dresses. "I'm sorry, I didn't know which one to get because they're all so beautiful."
I chuckle at that.
"Okay, chop chop. Let's get you fitted in these, " she walks into the the small room and I follow her.
The room is a typical fitting room with mirrors surrounding it, a place to hang the clothes and a chair.
She hangs the clothes and look back at me. "Fit the dresses and if you want help, shout." She leaves shortly after saying that.
I start undressing out of my clothes and pick the first dress that was in front. After putting it on, I look at the mirror and cringe at the colour of the dress. Purple. Anyone who knows me knows I hate purple, no offence to those who love it.
But not only do I cringe at the colour, but it also looks sort of like a plastic material. Shiny and... well, just shiny.
I step out of the fitting room with a frown. As I step out, Aurora shrieks in excitement causing Leo to look up, but with a blank expression.
"Oh my! That dress looks so good on you. You look like a beautiful princess." And cue the cringe again.
I didn't want to look like a little princess as if I'm going to a birthday party. I'll definitely get shamed for that.
"I hate the colour and material." I blurt out without thinking causing the happiness to drain out of her face. I almost feel guilty for saying it like that, almost!
"But you look so beautiful." She pushes on.
I shake my head. "I'm not going to the ball in this dress Aurora."
"But-" she starts but get cut off by Leo.
"She says she doesn't like the dress now let her try another one on." He says that with his words heaving with authority causing her to just nod.
Sighing thankfully, I walk back into the room.
This time I choose what I think will make me less comfortable because just wearing a skirt makes me feel uncomfortable.
So I choose a straight yellow dress with a V-shape on the chest.
After wearing it I notice that the dress is actually tighter than I thought it would be. The V-shape on the chest shows so much of my cleavage that I know for a fact that I would attract unwanted attention.
No way!
"Come out Alison, we've been waiting. " Aurora shouts.
I groan but step out anyway. As soon as I get out, I look at Leo who's looking at me with wide eyes.
"Yes girl! This is-" Aurora starts but gets cut off by Leo.
"No way I'm letting you out in that. Unless if it's something you wear under and you're actually going to wear something on top. Other than that, go change." He states, his eyes darkening as he takes one last look at me from head to toe.
Back to the fitting room go.
I rampage through the dresses and finally, after wasting so much time, my eyes land on the most beautiful dress I've ever seen so far. A white satin dress with no shoulders but only starting at the chest. It also have a long thigh slit. On both sides is a long black stripe too.
It's nice and elegant, not too much. I love it.
I quickly change into the dress and when I've finished, I look myself in the mirror. The dress looks beautiful on me, and it shows off curves that I never thought I had.
Instead of going out, I call Aurora. She enters the room, "Do you need hel-" she stops her sentence when she sees me. "Oh my! You look so beautiful Alison, very very beautiful." Her compliments make me smile. "This is the one."
I nod, agreeing with her.
She leans on the door, "So why don't you go out and show Leo?" She asks.
I smirk at her, "Because I want it to be a surprise tonight."
She smiles at me. "Okay then change out, I'll just take these back." She takes the rest of the dresses and leaves.
I walk back to Leonardo with the dress at hand and a huge grin. "Hey." I say checking his attention.
He frowns. "You didn't find any dress?"
I lift the dress, but it's in a black cover. "I did. Let's go pay."
I take his hand and lead him to the check out block.
I can't wait to see his facial expression tonight.
