"WELCOME TO THE O'NEILL PRIVATE FLIGHT." A red haired girl, about my age or older, says as the driver and I enter the private jet.
I must say, I thought we're going to at least travel business but I was wrong. The guy has his own jet. Cool, but not enough to butter me.
She ushers us to our seats which are a good feet away from each other, giving us enough privacy. She also gives us snacks for the flight as well as drinks.
When she leaves, I lean back and feel my eyes starting to become heavy. Soon, darkness consumes me.
••••
"Hey. Hey. Hey wake up." Someone pokes me.
I groan and open my eyes only to find the red haired looking at me. I sit up straight and frown.
"What's wrong? Are we crashing? Oh my goodness I knew that today something bad is going to happen, I just knew. I have to pray, I have to pray. I can't die without praying my sins away, an-" The girl stops my rambling by laughing. I throw her a confused look.
"No no no no, we're not crashing. If anything, we have landed minutes ago. The driver had to go somewhere as soon as we landed. Family Emergency." She explains.
I shake my head. "So how am I going to get to where I'm supposed to be?" I ask.
She flashes me her white pearls. "I can take you."
I arch a brow. "No offence though but aren't you a flight attendant?"
She chuckles and shakes her head. "No, I'm actually Mr O'Neill's personal assistant. He didn't trust any flight attendant for this."
I roll my eyes. Great, my 'husband' has trust issues. Just what I need.
"Great." I say sarcastically.
She once again laughs. "Alison I know about the deal between him and your family. You're going to be his wife, correct?"
I sigh deeply. "Don't remind me."
"Shoots." She mumbles all of a sudden. "We have to go now!"
I nod and start moving with her. Apparently my luggage was sent on another car that wasn't driven by the man in black. I don't know how I feel about this, strangers handling my bags without me. But I guess I'd have to get used to it.
••••
So far I've learnt that the red haired girl's name is Blaire, she is a P.A whilst studying business, she is also 20 years old (a year older) and she lives a couple minutes away from where I'll be living. The fact that she is a total D.C and Marvel nerd makes her cool. I already like this girl.
Her and I have been driving for about 15 minutes and whenever she told me that we're almost there, my nerves start rising. I won't lie.
With a blink of an eye, Blaire parks her car next to a big house, no scratch that, a big mansion that might even accommodate my whole neighbourhood back home.
The mansion is very beautiful with the painting being between pale peach and white. Before arriving at mansion, there were rows of trees. There's also two pillars next to the big main doors. The porch has a cute little bench and a small table. I could sit here and read my book peacefully.

Fingers start snapping in front of my eyes pulling me away from the beautiful scenery.
I blink a couple of times before they land on Blaire. "Huh?"
She smirks. "I'd love to stay with you but I'm not allowed inside the house without his permission."
My eyes widen and my mouth hangs open. Gape. "What? No! Blaire please, I can't face him alone!"
Her smirk stays on. Oh she's enjoying this isn't she?
Blaire shrugs. "I'm sorry honey, but it's either you get out by yourself or I push you out."
I pout at her words. "You know what? I'm going to get out and head in that house like a boss!"
She smirks and nods. "Yes girl! And I'll be just a phone call away. Now out!" She shoves me playfully causing me to laugh.
I roll my eyes but leave regardless. "Whatever."
I make my way to the door hearing Blaire's car leave. With a deep breath, I raise my hand and press the door bell. Not even seconds later, the door opens revealing a woman, probably in her late 40s.
She has black hair, black eyes, average height and a tan like skin. Her white sun dress she is wearing is loose but still looks good on her.
"Hi! You must be Alison. Oh how I've been waiting for you." The woman chirpers. Her eyes twinkling with excitement. "Oh come in please." She moves aside allowing me to enter.
I enter the mansion. The aroma of cookies hit my nostrils.
"Leo told me that you'd be arriving today." The woman says.
I nod awkwardly, not knowing what to say. "Thank you..." I trail off.
She face palms herself before looking at me with a sheepish smile. "I'm Elizabeth dear, but you can call me Liz." She introduces. "I'll be here around a lot so you'll be seeing me a number of times."
I smile at her. Liz gives off a warm vibrant that is actually welcoming.
"At least I won't be dealing with O'Neill alone." I mumble. I'm not sure if she heard me but if she did she didn't comment on it. Instead she changes the topic.
"You must be hungry, I have cooked and baked various dishes for you." She exclaims clapping her hands with a large smile.
I might be a bum for this, but I rejected the offer. "I'm sorry but I'm really tired. Jet leg. Maybe later." I say with a small smile.
Liz's smile doesn't flatter at the rejection which I'm grateful for. I didn't want to feel guilty for bursting her bubble. She takes my hand and leads me to the spiral of stairs. "If you're tired than I best be showing you to your room. It's opposite to Leo's room." I can practically hear the smug in her voice.
I shake my head. Sorry Liz, but whatever you're planning will never work.
When we get to the top, she leads me straight to the hallway with three doors. One door is straight ahead while the other two are opposite to each other on both sides. I'm guessing one of those doors is where I'll be sleeping.

Liz halts between both doors causing me to halt as well. She turns to the one on our right and opens it. Let me tell you this, as soon as she opens it, my eyes widen.
Everything about this is too beautiful and I'm beginning to think that this is just a dream. Both a nightmare and a lovely dream.
"Leo had people decorate this room weeks before you came. Surprisingly, he leapt straight to the colours white and gold. Odd because he has never been a man of light colours." She explains.
All I could do is nod. Maybe it's coincidental that the room is decorated in my favourite colour, right?
Through scanning the beauty of the room, my eyes land on the familiar bags set neatly on the ground beside the bed. Liz might have noticed where my attention is at as she starts explaining. "They arrived a few minutes before you."
I nod and silently thank whoever brought them.
"Well, I'll have to love you and leave you. I'm be busy finishing up for the day." With that, she leaves the room.
I might be going crazy but I think the fluffy big bed is calling my name. Don't worry my friend, I'm coming.
••••
Okay, I might have partially lied to Liz that I was a little tired because my nap didn't even take that long.
Which brings me to right now. Sitting on top of the island, with a plate of cookies, scones and butter. But I did struggle with finding the kitchen for minutes since I wasn't properly given a tour.
Suddenly, I hear a noise. The door sound of the door opening and closing. Footsteps echoing in the quiet house since I'm the only one inside. Well, not anymore.
My heart races at the thought that there might be a burglar. Now I'm regretting only attending to classes of self defence. But I do remember what we were taught in the first class. If you don't have any weapons with you, use the first thing your hands might grasp. So I do that without even looking at what I grabbed.
Jumping off the island, I tip toe to the entrance of the kitchen where I lean on the wall. My heart hasn't stopped racing at ab inhuman pace. I can't help but compare myself to the girl in a horror movie when she goes to check where the sound is coming from, and you yelling at me to stop.
But I just have to okay?
With a silent prayer, I walk out of the kitchen and make my way to where I'm still hearing sound.
Heavy breaths and footsteps.
Due to the fact that I just woke up not so long ago, some lights are still off including where I'm heading. But I can see a tall muscular figure in the dark. The burglar.
Swallowing the gulp in my throat, I make my way to the burglar, tightening my grip on my 'weapon'. Some how some where, I kind of bump into something causing me to lose my weapon and the figure to turn my way.
I still can't see who it is and I mentally scowl at myself for being my usual clumsy self.
The figure walks slowly to me. My brain seem to have shut down as I remain planted where I'm standing. That is until he is a good feet away from me that I still take action.
I do the first thing any normal human being would do, close my eyes extend my fist forward without knowing where I'm aiming at. I feel my fist collide with a hard stomach and I praise myself.
"Shit." The burglar cusses.
I open my eyes and see him clenching his stomach. This gives me enough time to go find the switch, and when I do I turn it on.
The burglar is, surprisingly, dressed in a blue suit from where I'm standing. He has his back at him me and is still clenching his stomach in a...squat form?
I stay where I'm standing, not wanting to endanger myself, and cross my arms across my chest. "You have a minute to explain why you're here and leave before I call the cops."
The person straightens up and turns to me. To say that I'm in awe struck is an understatement. The man is a definition of greek god or a walking sex god. He has blue ocean eyes, a diamond cutting jaw, black hair that is styled backwards. I can already tell by his tall figure that he'll definitely be towering my small figure. Just by looking at him he made my lower regions twinkle.
Ugh, focus Alison, this man might even be a murderer.
I blink my eyes and settle on the smirking man. "Take a picture, it might last." He says smugly.
I roll my eyes trying to cover my burning cheeks. "I asked a question and it needs an answer."
His smirk falls. Only when he takes a seat do I notice that we are in the sitting room. "Last time I checked, this is my house."
It's as if my mind starts putting pieces of information together. Oh my goodness, this is Leonardo O'Neill. My 'husband'. But no one can blame me right? I never actually saw his picture.
Gosh, I can already hear Penny saying 'I told you saw'.
"That was one hell of a punch." Leonardo exclaims sipping on the liquid in the glass.
My cheeks warm up once again in embarassment. "In my defence, I was protecting myself."
I looks up at me and smirks. Leonardo stands up and takes slow yet calculated moves towards me. I gulp starting to feel intimidated by his hard glance.
"I'd have to say, this is going to be fun." He says lowly.
Oh, how I beg to differ.
