《The Matrimony》38// Cabin Fever

I should have probably thought things through before driving off. I was familiar with the mountain roads but I only knew so much. I had planned to find a secluded spot to clear my mind, but I realized I was in way over my head when I couldn't remember the way home. I drove around some more hoping to find the way home or at least a mountain guide or something of the sort. The sun was beginning to set. I didn't have much time left to get myself out of here. Getting lost was one thing, but getting lost at night was a whole different issue. I drove around aimlessly to no avail. But I wasn't going to give up. I continued to drive when the engine began to sputter.
God no!. This couldn't be happening. I sent a silent prayer to the Man above. Please not now, not here!. The Silver Camaro pulled through for another minute or so before it gave up. Why me?!. I hastily got out of the car and popped the hood. I had no idea what I was looking for but that was what they did in the movies, so I was probably on the right track. But as I looked at the several parts and cables, I realized two things.
One, that I knew nothing about the workings of a car and two, I was royally fucked.
I closed the hood and plopped on top of it. I yelled out in frustration and then felt something wet on my cheek. Sweet Lord, please let that be a stray tear. Please.
The rain came down in a torrential downpour. The weather forecast for today was a bright and sunny day. What was happening?. Was I being punished?.
I rushed back to the car and rummaged around for my phone to call someone, anyone. But then I remembered I had left it at home in my hasty attempt to flee. I burst into tears once more.
The only recurring thought in my head was Alejandro. How had we gone from doing so good to this?. I guess I was just fooling myself all along. Thinking that he would change. I cried for a girl who was robbed of the chance to live her life the way she wanted. I cried for a girl who was robbed of her innocence and above all, I cried for a love lost.
I don't know how long I sat there crying but the rain hadn't let up even a little bit. I was terribly conflicted. On one hand I wanted to stay in the car, thinking that would be the safest idea but on the other hand what if I got robbed?, or worse attacked by some wild animal?!. Even if I did want to leave the car, that option was temporarily on hold. It was pitch black outside. The only source of the light being the crescent moon which had been covered by the nimbus clouds. I could barely make out my hand in front of me. I prayed I made it through the night.
In little to no time, the downpour had reduced to a slight drizzle. I said a prayer full of thanks. I grabbed my coat for warmth and got out of the car. The clouds had cleared away, so the moon offered enough light to illuminate the path. I decided to take my chances with nature. Hopefully I was going to stumble on a way home or find some help.
I had been walking for roughly 30 minutes but no such luck. I was now barefoot as walking around in the muddy ground with 4 inch heels had proved difficult. My muddied slacks could attest to that. I was severely tired. Having only eaten breakfast was not a helping factor and my present predicament only seemed to worsen my feeling of fatigue. I was about to yell for help when I heard the snap of a twig. My blood ran cold.

Who was out there?, what was out there?. I listened closely but heard nothing. I chalked it up to fatigue and hunger causing some very scary hallucinations. I continued on my way till I heard the footsteps. They were headed my way!. I quickly looked around for a hiding spot and dove under a thick shrub of bushes. I ignored the pain as branches pierced and scratched at my skin. That was the least of my worries. I remained perfectly still. Trying not to give off my location and possibly lose my life.
Then I saw the silhouette of a man.
This is it. This is where my life ends.
No!. I couldn't think like that, I had Benjy to go back home to. I had Ale-. I had a life to live. I refused to go down without a fight.
With that resolve in mind, I grabbed the closest thing I could use as a weapon which turned out to be a smooth but heavy rock. Even if it couldn't cause some serious bodily harm, at least I could knock him unconscious. I waited patiently for the man to inch closer to my less than suitable hideout. When he was close enough, I steeled myself and pounced with all my might. While screaming.
I desperately hoped my hunch was correct. They said she had gone to think. That meant she was probably taking a drive through the mountains.
I had covered most of the mountain trail and still couldn't find any signs of my wife. I only prayed that she had decided to hide herself and some secluded spot and that no harm had befallen her. Thankfully, the rain had stopped. The mountain trails were slippery no doubt, but the added effect of rain would have made the trail highly difficult to navigate. My heart jumped for joy when the headlights flashed toward a familiar Silver Camaro.
Thank you Lord!.
I quickly parked the car and rushed to hers. But my spirits plummeted when I realized her car was empty. No sign of her whatsoever. I hoped she was safe. I prayed she was safe. I used the flashlight on my phone to illuminate the path ahead of me. I needed to find her and I needed to do it fast. There had been reports of bear attacks up here. Knowing that my woman was out in the cold where she could be attacked by whatever was out here sent a chill down my spine. The tiny light showed indents that had been left behind in the muddy soil by her heels. The indents slowly gave way to small footprints. I smiled. She had clearly had difficulty keeping up in those ridiculously high shoes.
I stepped on a branch and made it snap. But the sharp, breaking sound was overshadowed by the sound of rustling leaves. Please let that be Diana, and not some giant ass bear. I inched closer to the thicket of bushes. The footsteps seemed to stop here. That meant she was close by. I didn't want to scare her off so I resolved that yelling her name wouldn't be the best course of action to take. I continued walking when I heard the rustling again. I turned just in time to see the huge ass rock about to make contact with my head. I barely stopped it from bashing my face in.
The familiar scent of Channel No. 5 tickled my nostrils and I opened my eyes to see Diana with her eyes firmly closed.
"Diana", I said softly
Her eyes snapped open, but her features quickly morphed into a scowl when she realized I was the person holding onto her. She pushed off me with as much strength as she could muster, landing herself on her butt. I would have laughed had she not been sporting such a defeated look. "What are you doing here?", she asked sullenly. No anger, no hatred, no emotion. It's like I wasn't even important enough to be mad at.

"I came to find you"
She scoffed, "Why?, not done throwing insults at me yet?"
"Diana I-"
"Save it!", she turned and started walking away
"Where are you going?"
"As far away from you as I can get", she didn't even turn to acknowledge me.
"Diana come on let's go back to the car. You don't know the mountain trails well"
"I don't care", she retorted, "I don't want to go anywhere with you"
God, the woman was exasperating. "Diana be reasonable. You could get lost or even worse attacked by some wild animal"
"I would rather take my chances with a bear or whatever's out there, than spend another minute with you"
I rushed to her and pulled her to me, "Just come on and stop being so difficult"
She smacked me so hard I saw stars. "Screw You Alejandro!. Screw you. I'm being difficult?. That's so easy for you to say when you're not the one who's been put through unimaginable hell. You nothing but a selfish, narcissistic, egotistical bastard!". She enunciated each word with a hit to the chest. In an attempt to dodge the last hit, I shifted to the side. Causing her to land face flat on the ground. "Owwwwwww!!!", she yelled.
I immediately crouched down next to her, "What's wrong?", I questioned worriedly
"My ankle!", she cried. I gently picked up her foot and eyed the slowly swelling area. I tried to massage it but even that attempt to assuage her pain proved futile when she brutally smacked my arm away. "Be careful!"
"Is it sprained?", I asked
"What do you think?!". She pushed my arms away and moved to stand, but quickly fell back into my arms when she realized she could barely hole herself up. Let alone walk.
"Come on, let me help you", I pleaded
"Do not touch me!"
"Diana please. I know you're mad at me but I just want to help. You can curse and yell at me as much as you want when we're done. Just let me help. Please"
I took her silence as a sign of approval and nimbly lifted her in my arms. She grabbed onto my neck for support but refused to look at me. I turned to make my way back to the car but then realized this wasn't the way I came. I turned around to find the trail but nothing looked familiar. I had chastised her for getting lost but I had somehow gotten us landed in the same predicament. She must have noticed the distress on my face.
"What's wrong?", she asked
"I um...I can't seem to remember the way back to the car"
"So we're lost?"
"I'm afraid so"
"Just great"
"Don't worry. I'll just walk around and hopefully we'll find the car. I'm gonna get us out of this Diana"
We, well I, walked around for close to an hour but no such luck. Carrying her around wasn't making the task any easier. I was about to apologize for not getting her out as I promised but I froze when I noticed a light up ahead. I walked, as quietly as I could, toward the light to find a small log cabin. The light cane from a tiny lamp which illuminated the the porch. I placed Diana in the rocking chair and looked around to make sure we hadn't been followed by some surly characters. I then looked through the cabins window.
"What are you doing?", Diana whispered
"I'm trying to find out if there's anybody inside. Why are you whispering?"
"Because there could be a serial killer in there Alejandro, are you crazy?!"
I dismissed her warnings and tried the door knob, to which the door swung open. I turned to Diana and found her looking at me like I had grown a second head.
"This is our best bet Diana. Unless you would rather spend the night outside where you could be attacked by a bear perhaps?"
This sold her over as she struggled to stand and walked to the door. I quickly rushed to her and carried her inside.
I fumbled along the door for a light switch and flipped it. The cabin was small but had a homey feeling to it. Wonderfully decorated to give that feeling of home away from home. I felt terrible intruding like this, but I would much rather take my chances with angry owners that with an angry bear. I placed Diana on the sofa and moved to lock the door. I then moved around, taking a good look at the place. Not too far away from the sitting room, was a quaint little kitchen with an island. I walked down the hallway and found a master bathroom fit with a claw foot tub and glass sliding door shower. The bedroom was even more grand. With a four poster canopy bed. I heard my name from the living room and rushed back, thinking Diana was in trouble. I found her on the floor sitting in a crisscross position. I looked at her quizzically.
« I didn't wanna dirty the sofa. Hey, is there a bathroom back there?, I could really use a shower », she motioned to her muddy clothes.
« Um yeah. Let me take you », I walked over and carried her to the bathroom. I gently placed her on the countertop and then turned to fill the tub. I walked back to her and started pulling off her clothes when she stopped me.
« I can do it »
I firmly nodded and then left. I understood her evasiveness. She needed time away from me. She needed time to think. I peeled off my shirt and tossed it in the washer. I walked to the kitchen, trying to find something we could eat. All I cane across was a single pack of ramen noodles. We would have to make do I guess. I chopped whatever little vegetables they had left in the fridge and tossed it into the pot to boil. I had just tossed the noodles in when I heard Diana yell my name.
I walked into the bathroom and had the air knocked out of me. Diana sat as I had left her, only difference was she was as naked as the day she was born. I gulped and struggled to control my raging hormones. I have no idea where I found the willpower not to rush and drive into her like a mad man. She avoided my gaze but I couldn't mistake her eyes falling on the obvious tent in my pants.
« Yes? », I ground out
« Could you help me get into the tub? », she made no move to cover herself up. Made no move to hide the tantalizing curves that haunted my dreams. The vixen!. She was doing this on purpose. I walked like I was in a trance. I gently picked her up, turned around and then slowly lowered her into the warm water. All the while looking into those gorgeous pools of blue. She turned away from me, like she was afraid of what she saw in my eyes.
Admiration, reverence, pure unadulterated lust and raw, undiluted love.
« Look at me », I ordered. She paid no heed to my order and continued staring at the water, « Look at me! », I said more forcefully. She turned to me. « I love you Diana »
Her breath hitched in her throat, « You what?"
"I love you dolcezza. More than anything in this world"
"Please lie to me about anything else but not this. Please not this"
"I tell you only the truth sweetheart. Stelly told me everything. I'm sorry you had to go through all that pain just to make me realize that I still loved you, that I never stopped. I'm so sorry Diana. I'm so sorry for treating you the way I did. I'm so sorry for pushing you away when all you evert did was love me unconditionally. I know I do not deserve your forgiveness but I will spend a million lifetimes if I have to earning it. I do not deserve you but I'm a selfish man, no one will have you but me. I will spend the rest of my life trying to right my wrongs. I'm telling you just the truth baby. I love you Diana Delmanti. With every single fibre of my being".
She grabbed my face and roughly planted her lips on mine. I made quick work of my pants and hastily got into the tub with her. I pulled her to me, causing her to sit straddling my thighs. I felt the engorged head of my member poking at her entrance and let out a low groan. I wasn't even in yet and I was already going insane. I lowered my hands to her breasts and tweaked her erect nipples. She moaned softly and arched her back, pushing them into my hands. I inched forward and placed my lips on her neck column, planting several open mouthed kisses, leaving as many marks as I could. Showing all who could see that she was taken, that she was mine.
I grabbed onto her full hips and placed her above my straining erection. She slowly lowered herself, taking me inch by torturous inch. We both let out loud moans when she took me in to the hilt.
I started off at a slow pace, giving her time to adjust to my larger than average size. But I couldn't keep up with it for long. Her seductive moans, agile movements coupled with the slight jiggle of her breasts caused me to drive into her even faster. I watched her in the throes of ecstasy. I had never seen anything more beautiful. I accompanied each stroke with an 'I love you' whispered softly in her ear.
Our rapid movements caused the water to slosh out of the tub but that was the least of my concerns. My woman needed her daily fix of pleasure and damn if I didn't give it to her. I could feel her muscles tighten around me, making the fit even more snug. The clenching threatened to bring about my own completion but I fought against it. I dove into her faster, harder, desperately trying to chase my high while flicking at her sensitive nub. She let out a strangled cry, signaling she was close. I continued with my relentless pounding and sooner rather than later, I felt the familiar clenching motions that signaled her completion. I continued to stroke, letting her ride out her orgasm and in little to no time, I spilled my seed in her with a loud groan.
We both panted heavily, exhausted with the efforts of our clandestine activities.
"So your ankle doesn't hurt anymore huh?", I questioned
She let out a light chuckle but then stopped and looked at me, "Alejandro something's burning"
"Shit!. The noodles!"
