《The Matrimony》23// Havana oh na na

I've always hated flying. Still do.
We were on the private jet and were going to be landing soon. Alejandro had been working throughout the entire flight, didn't the man rest. I on the other hand FaceTimed Benjy for close to 2 hours. He would be staying with Stelly for the short time we would be at Cuba. Stelly was way to eager to take him, saying it was time for Alejandro and I to get our freak on. Ew. I still hadn't told her about our fight, knowingAlejandro and I were sitting across from each other. He would often look up from his computer and stare at me. I would only stare back. He wasn't going to get anything from me, not until he apologized.
I started feeling hungry and patiently waited for the flight attendant to come around but she didn't. I decided to go get something to eat myself. As I stood up and took barely three steps, the plane shook violently causing me to lose my balance and fall into Alejandro's arms. I clenched my eyes shut while waiting for the calm to return.
C'mon D, deep breaths. Think of unicorns, Benjy, Alejandro shirtless. Wait...what?.
I was so consumed in calming down it took quite some time to feel the hand running up and down my arms. I looked at the hand, spotting the familiar Rolex and then looked at it's owner. He looked back at me. I then realized that the turbulence had stopped and our compromising position. I quickly stood and awkwardly pulled down my shirt which had ridden up during our... moment. I was about to start my journey when the pilot's voice came over the intercom.
"Ladies and gentlemen this is your captain speaking. Sorry for the discomfort we were experiencing dmsone turbulence. We would soon be reaching our destination Havana. Please stay in your seats and put on your seatbelts", the flight attendant came around to make we had our seatbelts on. She leaned over Alejandro.

"Is there anything I can get you sir?", she purred
"No I'm fine", he replied with eyes glued on the computer
"Are you sure sir?, I mean absolutely anything", she latched unto his shoulder and tried to sound seductive but it came out sounding like a dying cat.
He gave her a pointed look, "Yes I am. And if you want to keep your job I suggest you move away". She huffed and walked away while swaying her hips. I looked everywhere but him. I wasn't going to let him see that our little moment affected me much more than I let on.
Soon, we were getting off the plane and walking towards a black car. Alejandro spoke to the driver in some foreign language I didn't understand. What did people from Cuba speak anyway?. I made a mental note to get one of those little brochure thingies from the hotel when we arrived. Hopefully they had them. We got in the car and started driving to the hotel. I had my face plastered to the window as I took in the glorious sites if Havana.
We parked in front of a gigantic building. The driver came over to my side and opened the door. I got out and stared in awe. I hadn't seen much but I was already loving it. The Meliá Cohiba was a sight to behold. A bellboy got our luggage out of the trunk. Alejandro and I walked in. I went over to the receptionist.
"Hi um, I was wondering if I could get a brochure or a travel guide?", The woman looked genuinely confused. She started babbling in a language I didn't understand at all. "Uh, me no speak you language". I heard someone chuckle behind me. I turned to see Alejandro trying to hide his laughter. I glared at him. He calmed down and came to me. He spoke to the receptionist who nodded vigorously and then handed me my brochure. I gave her a grateful smile and turned to Alejandro.

Alejandro
So immature.
When is she going to talk to me again. I thought taking her on this trip would be good way to get out of the dog house. I was about to go into the bathroom when the shrill ringing of my phone interrupted my actions.
"Aly!"
I sighed, "Yes Sebastien"
"Are you guys here yet?", he questioned
"That's great. Can you come over for dinner?"
"I'm not sure that's such a great idea Sebastien"
"What?, Why?. We're in the same hotel Aly. O can order dinner for 4 and then we can meet the unlucky lady", I could hear the smile in his voice
"Very funny. Thank you for the offer but I don't think we can make it. The jet lag-"
"Okay what did you do to her?", he questioned with a no nonsense tone
"What are you talking about Sebastien?", I tried my best to sound normal.
"Cut the crap bucko, I've been married longer than you okay. I know what you're trying to do. So out with it, what did you do to her"
"We got into a fight and I may have said some things about her that weren't...nice"
"What kind of things?", he asked
"Bad things", I replied
"Well okay then. But I am gonna meet her. One way or another"
"Okay. See you tomorrow". I hung up.
I walked into the shower, washing away the sweat. It was a quick shower. I got out and walked back into the deluxe suite Diana and I shared.
She was already fast asleep. I got in bed next to her and closed my eyes. It was long before I felt myself drifting off to Lala land. The jet lag sure did get to me
