DIOR POV
when sincere texted we needed to talk I wasn't nervous because I had a feeling of what he was gonna say which needs to be said and we needed to set boundaries if we wanna continue whatever we have going on I've never really liked someone I mean I dated someone in middle but it wasn't ns we kissed here and that but that was all im grown now kissing here and there its not what I want especially since im a virgin
surprising right not really growing I really didn't have time to go out I was either training or doing school but mostly training which I don't regret I'm where I wanna be at and I needed to do what I did back then to get here and I hope its be worth it
I pulled up to a small dinner from the looks it was on the hood but I wasn't juding half of the time the hood spots have the best that scratch that they do I seen sincere car so I knew he was in there I opened the door and looked around till I spotted him drinking a damn milkshake and he looked fine he can slurp me up anytime boo boo
I walked to him he was on his phone so he hadn't seen me yet I cleared my throat and he looked up and looked at me for a good minute before he gestured for me to sit I sat down and picked up the menu "so what did u wanna talk about" I asked still looking at the menu
"Im sure u have a clue of what I wanna talk about" he said which I did but I wanted him to say it because I knew but I wanted to hear his words

"I like you and by the looks u like me to otherwise u probably wont be here but today made me realize when I overstepped my boundaries which I'm sorry for that we need to separate business and what we have going on our business come first and we need each other so I don't want we have interfering in that because I see me really liking you in the future Dior" sincere said when he finished saying that I finally looked at him and by his body languange he was dead serious
"I totally understand and im begging to like u but like u said my business come first and u have no right to speak on what I do nor do I have to speak on yours so when were around that type of environment all that Dior shit is out the window I accept your apology but don't let that shit happen again" I said with a laugh he nodded his head indicating he understood what I was saying
"gotchu lil shot but how was your minus me" he said with a light chuckle which I found extremely attractive being that he barley laugh or smile for that with his fine ass like he can have all my kids lemme stop but Im deadass
"DIOR"I heard sincere yelling my name "My bad I was thinking bout some but u was saying"I asked
"first get that drool from the side of your mouth" he said embrassed wasn't even the word I grabbed a napkin and wiped my mouth avoiding eye Contact with him cause babyyy I was embrassed till I felt him grab my face
"you good shorty if u think a nigga fine u can say that witcho fine ass" sincere said nope im not falling for him im a gangsta I don't do this but I mean look at him he gonna fuck up my life I just know and me legs hopefully forgive me god even though im already going to hell for the shit I den did

"I was not thinking bout u" I said lying through my teeth he gave me smirk he knew I was lying but Im act like he don't know
"mhm but before u blinked out I asked are u going to that damn ball" the one I don't want to go to but I have to
"yup I don't want to but duties calls and my dad told me a I need to go cause I need to show my face and all that other shit" I said before he could the waiter came and asked what we wanted I just asked for a milkshake sin said he was right being that he ordered before I got here
"he got a point people know your name but not everyone know your face especially since your the first female to run the biggistest drug cartel your a basically a threat to them shit u would've been to me if we aint team up" he said
which was true and sin is not to far behind me he could never be as big as my cartel but he like second if u get what im saying I don't why me being female make a difference some girls shoot way betta than my boys but I guess that's society which why im happy im here to change that shit
"I know y'all right which is why I agreed to come do u go to them every year" I asked taking a sip of milkshake
"this is actually my second year going I been in the game for a long time but people really take me serious because I was still young till I start outshowing higher cartels there boring but there good to make business deals" he said looking at me straight in the eyes like he always do
"yeah I feel like people think it was easy for me being who my father was but I had to work train for my name my dad didn't even want me taking over being that I was girl ofc till I grabbed a gun and hit everything I was aiming for he knew I was a replica of him maybe even better" I said thinking back to that time
"Ian gon lie I thought that to but this is example of why u need to go to the ball your not your dad by the looks your betta I gotchu through this journey forever u apart of my crew now lil shotta we aint new to this" he said making me feel happy we in this

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)
