I paced back and forth my living room, wondering how everything was going to go with Vince. What exactly did he want to talk about?

"Everything is going to be fine, Stace," Chelsea said, sighing.

I sighed as I sat down on the couch. "Realistically, I do know that. Lately, I've just been afraid of the unknown, I guess," I said, shrugging. "It's very unlike me."

"It's probably because of the whole thing with Vince, Rebecca, and Mallory. Speaking of Mallory, I don't like that brat. She ruined you and Vince's relationship." She crossed her arms, having an annoyed look on her face.

"Yeah, I know." I sighed. "She did say she was drunk, and she apologized, but it's just still all weird to me."

"It's Rebecca's spawn, that's why."

I burst out laughing, then looked at the time. "It's already four forty-five. I'll see you later, Chels."

"Alright. Have fun!" She grinned, waving at me as I left the apartment.

Since the park was only a few blocks away, I walked there.

When I arrived to the park, I looked around for Vince.

I saw him sitting on a bench, looking at his watch. Then, he looked up, directly making eye contact with me. I grinned, then quickly walked toward him.

As I was walking toward him, I got hit by frisbee on the right side of my face. "Ow!" I groaned, feeling my face flush in embarrassment.

"Sorry!" A boy who looked about ten years old apologized, wincing.

Vince quickly got up, and ran toward me. "Are you okay?" He asked.

"Yeah, I'm fine." I nodded, still feeling embarrassed.

"Alright." We walked back to the bench he was originally sitting at.

"So...What did you want to talk about exactly?" I asked Vince as we sat on the bench.

"Mainly us," Vince replied, then paused for a moment, sighing.

I shifted myself to face him directly. "What about us?"

"I was wondering if you wanted to get back together."

I paused for a moment, feeling unsure. "I feel unsure about that one. I mean, I do want to, but if some other misunderstanding were to come up, would you be able to trust what I say? Even if there was no proof?"

"I know I screwed up big time for not trusting you in the first place. I regret that big time. I promise I have something to make up to you, if you let me. I'm sure that you will love it."

"Alright." I nodded. "How will you make it up to me?"

"Follow me." He smiled.

I smiled back, giving him a confused yet curious look as I followed him.

We went over to his car, and got in. Then, we drove over to Havens Enterprise.

We got out, and went inside, walking toward the elevator. Vince pressed the roof top button. I didn't even know there was such a button until I saw him press it.

"Why are you taking me to the roof?" I asked, laughing.

"You'll see," Vince said.

When we arrived to the roof, we got out, and my mouth dropped open in surprise. There was a helicopter on top of Havens Enterprise.

"Are we going somewhere?" I asked Vince, grinning.

"Yes," Vince said, smiling as he nodded his head. He grabbed my hand. "We can go in."

As we went in the helicopter, I looked at the inside in awe. I had never been in a helicopter, although I had been in an airplane.

I looked at the pilot, immediately recognizing her. "This is Leslie," Vince said. "She's Dante's wife, and one of her hobbies is flying helicopters every once in a while."

"Yes, I remember her," I said, nodding my head. "That's great that you're going to fly us somewhere."

"Your wish is my command," Leslie said, smiling.

"You know where to already take us, right Leslie?" Vince asked.

"I sure do." She smiled.

Before I could ask where we were going, Leslie started the helicopter, and we flew.

I looked down in awe as we were flying above the city.

Since the sun was setting, all of the buildings had lights on outside of it. We also flew close by the Statue Of Liberty, which was amazing.

A few minutes later, the sun completely set, and the whole city was lit up.

We flew around the city for about half an hour until we landed on the roof top of a Japanese restaurant called Luna Asian Bistro & Rooftop Lounge.

"That was amazing," I said, still in awe, turning to Vince. "Did you plan to do all of this?"

"Yes, I figured I would make it all up to you," Vince replied. "You seem like you would have liked to fly around the city, so I decided to do something out of the ordinary."

"I liked it, and doing things out of the ordinary is fun." I grinned.

"I knew you would think that." He smiled.

A waitress came up to us. "Is this a reservation for Vincent Havens and Anastasia Marks?" She asked us.

"Yes, that is correct," Vince said, nodding.

"Any drinks you would like to order?"

"I'll have a martini."

"I'll have a strawberry margarita," I told the waitress.

She nodded, then walked away.

"So how was it like being a bartender?" Vince asked.

"It was interesting to say the least," I replied, laughing. "I got hit on by drunk guys, worked with my best friend, and had Jeff's used to be Tinder date stare me down every day because she thought I was dating Jeff."

"That sounds interesting." He chuckled. "So you had a weird girl stare you down every day?"

"Yes, the chick that was with us at the party in the same room who was acting weird."

"Oh...her." He nodded as if he remembered. "She was definitely different."

"How was work while...we weren't in touch?" I changed the subject, not knowing how to phrase it any differently.

"Not as well this past month. I couldn't concentrate as much as I normally do." His gaze felt so strong, yet I couldn't look away. He held his hand out, and I slowly locked my hand around his.

I looked around, noticing there was no one here, besides Vince and I, and a few workers inside. "Where are the other customers?" I asked.

"I reserved this whole place just for us," Vince said. "I want this night to be about you and I, no one else."

My mouth dropped open in surprise. Before I could say anything else, the waitress came back, handing us our drinks. "Do you two know what soups and salads you want yet?" She asked.

Vince looked over at me as I nodded my head. "I'll have miso soup, and avocado salad."

"I'll have the Tom Yum shrimp soup, and seaweed salad."

She wrote down our appetizer orders, then left.

A few minutes later, she came back with our appetizers.

Vince and I ate, then the waitress took our orders for our entrees. We decided to order sushi and sashimi for two, which included ten pieces of sushi, twelve pieces of sashimi, one spicy tuna roll, and dragon roll.

"This is so good!" I exclaimed, right after trying the foods.

"It is," Vince said, nodding as he took another bite of sushi.

When we were done eating, the waitress took our plates.

Vince cleared his throat, then said, "Stacey, I need to ask you a question." We walked toward the edge of the roof, and looked down at the city.

"Sure. What is it?" I said, curious with what he wanted to ask me.

He took a deep breath, then sighed, glancing at the city below, then back at me. "My parents are visiting from Europe next week, and I was wondering if you would be okay with meeting them. They will be staying with me."

I grinned. "Yes, of course. That sounds great."

"Great. I look forward to it." He smiled. "I'll have to let them know."

"I do too." A breeze made my hair softly blow back.

Vince came closer to me, gazing into my eyes longingly as he brushed my hair back. Slowly, he leaned over and kissed my lips. About ten seconds later as I was slightly pulling away, he grabbed my face, kissing me again, this time even more passionately. Then, slowly trailed my neck as he kept giving me kisses. When he briefly stopped, then I started kissing his neck.

"I missed you," I said breathlessly when I stopped, as I hugged him.

"I missed you too," Vince said as he held me. "I'll never believe another ridiculous lie ever again."

"It's all okay now, and that's what matters." I smiled.

"Yes, we're together again." He smiled back. "Earlier, I was nervous meeting up with you."

"I was too actually." I laughed.

We talked for a bit more, then Vince paid for both of our meals. After that, we went back inside the building, then went down the elevator.

As soon as the elevator door closed, we kissed again. I slid my hands through his hair as he put his hands behind my face.

When we reached the first floor, we stopped kissing, then held hands as we walked out of the elevator.

"Since my car is not here with me, I'll call Sanjay to see if he can pick me up," Vince said.

"Sanjay?" I said, laughing in confusion. "Why would Sanjay do that?"

"He told me if I ever needed to be picked up from anywhere, then I can always tell him whenever I needed to." He shrugged. "Obviously, I'm going to pay him."

"That's nice of him to do that."

He nodded, then pulled out his cell phone to call Sanjay. "Hello, Sanjay?" He paused briefly. "If you're able to, do you mind picking Stacey and I up from Luna Asian Bistro & Lounge?" He waited for a response, then nodded. "Alright, we'll see you in a few minutes then." He hung up.

"Did Leslie have to go back with the helicopter?" I asked.

"Yes, she doesn't own it, so she had to fly it back by a certain time," Vince answered.

A few minutes later, Sanjay pulled up beside us. "Hello," he greeted us as Vince and I went inside his car.

"Hello," Vince and I greeted him back.

"Where should I drop you two off at?" Sanjay asked.

"At Havens Enterprise," Vince said.

Sanjay nodded, then drove us over to Havens Enterprise, which was about a twenty minute drive.

When he parked beside Havens Enterprise, he asked, "Stacey, how is Chelsea doing?"

I tilted my head in confusion. "She's doing well. Why do you ask?" I said.

"I was just wondering." He looked down, shrugging. "By the way, I'm glad you and Vince had a good time."

"Thanks," Vince and I said at the same time, then laughed.

Vince paid Sanjay, and then we said bye to Sanjay as he was driving off.

Vince turned to me. "Now, I'll be taking you home," Vince said as we walked toward his car.

"I'll gladly take that offer," I joked as he opened the car door for me.

He drove me over to my apartment complex. He parked the car, then came out to walk me to my door.

We stood next to each other by the door, and then he leaned over to kiss me. As we got interrupted, Chelsea flung open the door. "Awww!" She squealed in joy. "I'm so glad you two are back together!"

"I'm glad we are too," I said, smiling.

"Oh, did I interrupt something?" She gasped, wincing. "I'm so sorry."

"It's fine, Chels." I laughed.

"I'll see you at work, Stacey," Vince said to me, smiling. Then, he turned to Chelsea. "And Chelsea, I'll see you around."

"See you later." I gave Vince a quick peck on the lips.

Vince waved, then walked back to his car, and drove off.

I went inside my apartment, and told Chelsea everything that happened.

"Wow, that's amazing," Chelsea said. "You two are great together."

"Thanks." I grinned. "By the way, Sanjay picked us up, and he asked how you were doing."

Chelsea's face slightly flushed. "Oh, really?" She asked.

"Yeah." I nodded.

"Okay, so earlier when you were gone, I saw Sanjay at a food market, and had a conversation with him. He still seemed a little intimidated, but when I asked for his number, he actually gave it to me. Later, he texted me and asked if I wanted to see a movie with him next week." She grinned.

"That's great!" I grinned. "He seems like a great guy."

"He does."

We talked for a bit more, then she went to her room, and I went into mine.
