{Song in video: Maty Noyes - In My Mind}

When I woke up the next morning, I realized I accidentally left my cell phone at the Conrads' place. I called them using Chelsea's phone, and they said I could come pick it up.

I quickly got ready, then grabbed my purse to leave.

"Bye, Chels!" I said to her, waving as I went outside to hail a taxi.

"Bye!" She said back.

I went into the taxi, and went to the Conrads' place. I knocked on the door, and Rebecca came out to give me the phone. "Here you go," she said with her usual smirk and pout.

"Thanks," I said, and then quickly went back over to the taxi.

I got to work about twenty minutes later since traffic was heavy as usual. Thankfully, I still got to work on time.

I walked into the building, went into the elevator, and then walked over to my desk. When I got there, Dante stared at me in disbelief, shaking his head.

I gave him a confused look, saying, "Good morning, Dante."

"I don't know how you can say that after what happened," Dante said, shaking his head again.

"What are you talking about?"

"Don't act like you don't know."

"Don't know what?" I was starting to feel frustrated and uncomfortable.

Harper came over to Dante and I. "Hey, Dante, here are the files," she said to him.

"Thank you," Dante said, nodding as he took the files.

"Hey, Harper!" I greeted her, trying to sound cheerful.

She looked at the ground, not making eye contact with me. "Hey, Stacey." She muttered, then quickly walked away.

What is with everyone acting so strange?

Then, Vince walked out of his office, and came over to me, looking stern and unhappy. "Anastasia, come to my office," he said in a disgusted tone.

"Okay," I said, nodding slowly in confusion as I was following him. I felt everyone's eyes staring right at me, with a mixture of glares, disgusted looks, and concern.

I was nervous at this point because everyone treated me differently this morning.

When we walked into his office, I said, "What's wrong? Everyone has been treating me weird this morning-"

"Maybe because of what you did. Not only did you cheat on me, but what you did was very unprofessional," he said with a booming tone.

My mouth dropped open in disbelief. "What are you talking about? I didn't cheat!"

"Then what is this?" He showed me a video on his phone.

I was mortified when I saw it. The first video showed that I was at a club with Dave, dancing on him, giving him body shots, and making out with him. The second video also showed me doing the same things with other men at the club. It was sent to everybody at work, but what they didn't know is that the first video was taken back when Dave and I were dating, and the second one was when I was eighteen.

"The first one was back when I was dating Dave. The second one was when I was eighteen. I have no idea how that was sent..." I said in defense, my voice shaking.

"How do I know that?" He furrowed his eyebrows, crossing his arms. "And it doesn't matter how it was sent. The point is that it was sent in the first place from your phone, and that you still had those videos."

"I didn't have my phone with me last night. I accidentally left it at the Conrads' place. It must have been someone else that sent those." I wasn't exactly sure who sent the videos since there was a party last night, but I obviously wasn't going to tell Vince that.

"Are you trying to blame Mallory for this?" He gave me a look of disbelief.

"No, that's not what I meant-"

"These videos were also sent to everyone at work."

I quickly tried turning on my phone, but it was dead. "My phone's dead. I just got it back this morning."

"This situation is very unprofessional and an embarrassment to me and my company. I'm going to think about what to do while you go back to your desk."

"Okay." I nodded. "I'm sorry this happened." I walked out of the door, back to my desk.

I looked in the drawers, and found a charger to charge my phone. I let it charge for a few minutes, then checked it. I noticed a few missed calls and texts from Dave. I checked the text, and apparently the video was sent to him too. He was wondering what was going on and asked me if I could meet up with him later. I texted back that I could meet up with him at Chipotle during lunch.

Dante and I didn't say anything else to each other, and I just did my work the best I could, trying not to focus on what happened.

By the time lunch came around, I didn't see Vince. Ever since we started dating, we had lunch together almost every time we worked, except if he was busy or had an important meeting.

I sighed as I grabbed my purse, then going down the elevator. There was even a lady who was one of my co-workers that purposely didn't go into the elevator with me.

I went over to Chipotle to meet up with Dave, who was already sitting at a table with his food. I ordered my food, then went over to the table.

"Stacey, what the hell were you thinking?" Dave said, having his arms crossed.

"Okay, I know this is really bad, but I wasn't the one that sent it," I said.

"Then who did?" He looked unconvinced.

"It's a long story." I sighed.

"I'll be waiting." He gave me a stern look.

"Yesterday, I babysat Mallory, who is Vince's niece. Her friends came over, and the next thing I knew, a bunch of teenagers came over, and they threw a party. I couldn't control it, so I called Chelsea to help. She came, and then we tried stopping the party, but we got tricked into looking for something, and then we got locked in the basement. Chelsea climbed out, and came back inside to unlock the basement, so I could get out. I did, and we shut the party down, then cleaned up the house before the parents came home. When I got home, I realized I forgot my cell phone there, but I got it this morning, and then I found out what happened."

He blinked, and stayed silent for a few moments. "Then do you know who possibly could have done it?"

I shrugged. "I have no idea. It could have been anyone who was at the party, Mallory's friends, or even Mallory."

He sighed. "Why would you still have those videos anyway?"

"I didn't know I still had those. I almost forgot about them actually."

"You know this costs me my reputation, right?"

"Trust me, I know. It's costing me my reputation, and also Vince's." I was getting slightly annoyed at him acting like this was only his problem, but tried not showing how annoyed I was.

"It's spread to my employees. I had to have a meeting to address it."

"Oh..." I sat there, awkwardly eating my food among the tension.

Before either one of us could say anything else, I heard a man's voice say behind us, "Dave and Anastasia, so that's what I thought."

I turned around, noticing there was Vince. I realized how bad that must have looked, since Dave and I were sitting across from each other. "Vince, it's not what it looks like-" I tried to say, but got interrupted.

"It's exactly what it looks like." His voice went low.

"No, Vince, she's right," Dave said. "We were here discussing the videos."

"Sure you were." Vince didn't look convinced.

"Vince, it's true-" I started to say.

"I don't want to hear it. Meet me back in my office after lunch."

"Okay." I sighed, brushing my hair back nervously.

He went outside, not even bothering to order his food.

Dave sighed, shaking his head. "This wasn't supposed to go like this," he said.

"Yeah..." I said. "I need to go."

He nodded, and before he could say anything, I walked out with my food.

I went back over to work, trying to figure out what would happen. I nervously stood by Vince's office door, then finally went in, hoping it would somehow go well.

Vince sat at his desk, brushing his hair back with his hands, sighing. "I need to talk to you," he said in a low tone.

"I can tell," I said, having a straight face. "What you saw wasn't what you thought it was."

"I wish I could believe you, Anastasia, but I just can't." He shook his head, looking intensely into my eyes. "I'm going to have to break up this relationship."

"What?" I gasped in shock, immediately a wave of sadness hitting me. "Vince, I promise you I never cheated on anyone."

"Too many things added up wrong. I wish I could believe you, but I just can't right now." He was staring at me intensely with a stern face, but I could tell that there was sadness in his eyes. "Besides, you've had quite a few guys in your lifetime, haven't you?"

"Yeah, but I'm a lot more serious with my relationships now. I didn't take them as seriously as I should have, but I promise that I changed that. Those videos were me back when I was eighteen." I felt a few tears come out of my eyes. "Please don't do this."

"I'm sorry, but I don't know what else to think. You may now leave my office." He gulped, his saddening eyes piercing at me.

I went out of the office, having a few tears coming out of my eyes. For the first time, I really wanted to go home from this job, and just cry my eyes out, along with telling Chelsea what had happened.

I didn't make any eye contact with anyone as I went to my desk. I could feel their judgmental looks staring through me.

I tried to focus on my work, but it was extremely difficult because my mind kept going back to the breakup, Vince, Dave, and the videos that were sent.

Eventually, I noticed it was finally five o'clock, and I got my things to get ready to leave.

Thankfully, I didn't run into Vince when I was on my way out.

When I got to my apartment, I finally couldn't hold in the tears anymore, so I cried.

"Stacey?" Chelsea said, looking concerned as she came into my room. "What's wrong?" She gently hugged me.

I kept on sniffling and crying for a few more minutes, then finally said, "There were old videos of me and guys at the club making out, doing body shots, and dancing. They were sent out to everybody from my phone, and what's worse is that Vince saw them and broke up with me."

Her eyes widened in surprise. "Wait, you still have those videos?"

"Yeah..." I nodded. "I didn't know I still had them."

"Do you know who could have sent the videos?"

"It was definitely whenever my phone was missing. So I think it's either Mallory, her friends, Rebecca, or someone that was at the party."

"Yeah, it must have been one of them." She looked confused. "I'm so sorry this happened to you, Stace."

"I'm still in disbelief that this happened. I don't know what to do when I go to work now. Pretend nothing ever happened between Vince and I? Try to convince him again?"

"I'm not exactly sure. It's been a while since I was in a serious relationship." She shrugged. "For now, just act like nothing happened."

"Alright. I'll try." I nodded as my eyes filled up with tears again.

"Since it's my day off, why don't we watch some movies and order Chinese takeout?"

"Sure, that sounds good. Just nothing with romance in it."

"Sounds good."

We ordered Chinese food, and watched a few comedy and action movies, with hardly any romance in it.
